People need to get over the fact that maybe just maybe some people don't like rape and maybe just maaaybe Seungho is an unlikable character to some and people have a right to complain if they want. I can't bloody believe I have to even say "It's okay for people to be disgusted by rape" like wtf? This is what's wrong with the yaoi fandom, yaoi normalizes "rape to love" so much that some of y'all don't even bother to have a critical eye when it comes to fiction.

Jesus, if people can gush about how great they think Seungho is then people have the right to rag on him for doing things that are quite fucking cruel and horrible. Y'all like him despite all of his very unlikable traits? Cool. Some people like me think he's interesting but hates his actions, also cool.

At this point people who are bending over backwards to defend his actions are more annoying than the people complaining about him. Even the damn author went out their way to show that they saw the scene as a rape because Seungho himself even knew homeboy was out of it. People aren't allowed to hate that? Really? People aren't allowed to lament the idea of a romance between them but people are allowed to fangirl over them even though it can go either way?

Y'all don't like people criticizing something/someone you really like? Tough titty. Honestly I was annoyed at people generalizing the fans who liked NaSeung as a couple but now I feel like the ppl in favor of Seungho are just being asses about others having a different opinion that's just as valid at the end of the day. People are afraid that this will turn into "rape to love", that's a very understandable fear. If it turns that way then they will probably drop it but for now who tf knows how this will go? They still like the story, let them like the story and express their dislike for the shitty parts. They might have a very personal reason for not liking it because, you know, everyone is different.

Seungho is incredibly entertaining and appealing, if you like him that's cool but don't act like Seungho isn't a fucking asshole. He's a very flawed character and the author doesn't skim over this fact. He's supposed to be both unlikable and likable so if people DON'T like him they have the right to. Some of his actions are deplorable and if he were not hot and charismatic most of you would hate him too. If y'all can't handle the fact that he's a controversial character than idk what to tell you buttercup.

    Tereza42 September 28, 2019 1:17 pm

We just think its stupid to go to horrorish manhwa to complain about it being abusive...coz duh.You wouldnt complain that horror movie is scary with abusive characters, would you?
Maybe BJ Alex comment section would be more accurate place to go to complain.. not this.

    Kuro September 28, 2019 2:44 pm

Given that this is during a time 'rape' wasn't even a word back then also applies as well (since it's a historical setting). No one says you have to 'like' certain characters and no one says you have to 'hate' characters either. Posting comments like this in itself is toxic-you make it seem as if people can't comprehend or read into characters. And again fiction is fiction (this is a fictional setting) and people take it a bit too far into irl problems (which doesn't help real people).
*There a group of people who like Jihwa or Sir in-hun and even ship them lol and they hate Seungho (or they hate Jihwa and love Sir in-hun, etc..). And I agree with the comment above ^ it is kinda dumb to complain about the contents of it when there warnings/tags. Which is another big problem in the yaoi fandom, even though people tag and put warnings artists and authors get a shit ton of flack for it. Which isnt fair to the. but at the same time I guess it's just a western fandom problem anyways. But that's a whole other conversation.

    Yu101 September 28, 2019 2:48 pm

Look, I am one of those who complain about rape as a “romantic device” or as a “I’m your rapist but imma be your hero and save you from other rapists” plot. I complained and dropped/rated low in BJ Alex, Love is an illusion and other mangas as well. But this is clearly a psychological twisted manga that follows a manipulative sociopath whims, so of course people are not shocked over the rape thing when previously there were killing, stabbing and abuse coming from the lord. You have the right to complain about his actions as well as I have the right to find it pointless when this was clearly expected from the story. And I’m sorry but you are going to keep criticizing it forever because our lord is gonna keep abusing people and is not gonna turn to a loving cinnamon roll from day to night

    MangaSanctuary September 28, 2019 3:35 pm

Don't know about others, but I've said already few times (more than 5 times) how Lord is a manipulative heartless asshole that kills people, orgist-man, that I disapprouve profundly his promiscuois side etc... But besides this, I also aknowledge his intelligence and speak good of him when he's kind to Nakyum; orphan that no one cares aside the Lord... Even if nobody cares about what I write.
When I see glimpses of him expressing human feelings (attraction, attachment to Nakyum, for ex...), it nourrish my hopes he can grow to become a better person. Finally I'm happy to see him changing bit by bit besides the painter, knowing how things started with him.

Difference between commentators like you and us is we don't only speak bad of him. Because as we know, Seungho is more than being an asshole, and for the moment we don't even know all the things we need to know about him. Judging him that severely is a bit unfair at this point. And that's right, having nothing but bad things to speak about a character, or something that's an obvious important element of the story makes the ambiance toxic. It gets tiring for everyone...

1evis1ittlea$$hole September 27, 2019 4:30 am

I feel bad for Na-Kyum stuck between two assholes, why can't he have the option for a good guy? I feel bad for him like jeez he's not my fav but the author really likes to torture him lol my boy needs some real love

Seungho is catching feelings tho I could see the jealousy on his face. I'm not gonna lie I was apprehensive but I'm looking forward to the continuation now! There is going to be so much amazing angst, Na-Kyum is really not going to like that his virginity was taken from him and I think Seungho is going to desire him more and more. Yea I feel bad for Na-Kyum but it would be entertaining to see a very possessive Seungho, either that or Seungho is going to try to gain his favor (it would be nice to see Seungho squirm tbh). Plus Inhun's face is making me nervous, not to mention Jihwa is probably going to do something rash. Yikes.

The mangaka is setting up some delicious drama and my asshole is ready.

    Chidsss September 27, 2019 5:09 am

The 'and my asshole is ready' part just killed me

    wonmka September 27, 2019 5:10 am

I FEEL THIS COMENT SO MUCH THAT IT HURTS

1evis1ittlea$$hole September 19, 2019 6:43 am

Definitely not giving Seungho brownie points for being decent enough to prepare NaKyum before fucking him but I do think it was interesting that he actually considered NaKyum's words. Something tells me its because he didn't want to blow his cover pretending to be Inhun but also cause he prefers for his partner to enjoy it too.

lmao but Seungho was so done like "Why is this nigga a virgin? Goddamit." what a fitting reaction for a slutty dude like Seungho to have, he's used to fucking very experienced people. Dudes like him just want to dive in.

I honestly love some of the dialogue in ch. 20. Seungho managed to make hoe/virgin sex not cringe but pretty entertaining! Seungho probably liked having someone different for once, actually having to guide him through it was clearly starting to turn on his dom side. I will say that NaKyum's wibbling was getting on my nerves a bit tho. I really can't stand those crying virginal types who don't even know how their own body works. It's so infantilizing and not really that appealing? Tbh NaKyum is a bit too much of a generic "uke" sometimes. I prefer more confident bottoms not the pure virginal boy next door types, there are way too many of those types in BL tbh. Eh, I hope he has some character development :/

The end confirmed that Seungho is an ass. I thought he was just going to go with the flow but the fact that he actually referred to himself like he was inhun bruh, dude is sinister. I wonder if he's going to disappear after and leave NaKyum thinking he really did fuck Inhun?(if he remembers anything that is hehe) This shit is going to turn into some drama I can feel it.

    perkystar September 19, 2019 9:36 am

he was wrong. he's a sexy shameless leech. really, apart from his face, there's nothing going for him

First, some ppl in the comments need to chill. It's either "What Seungho did was rape and anyone who likes him or enjoys this manhwa are the worst!" or "Shut up you buzz kill! It's fiction! Who cares! He didn't rape him because NaKyum had a good time!"

How about we don't assume everyone who reads dark fiction is condoning it? Can we consider that fiction is sometimes the best, /safest/ place to enjoy and explore problematic and taboo aspects of society? Seungho is a psychotic individual whose personality and actions you can totally enjoy objectively w/o subjectively agreeing.

HOWEVER, people who don't like the rape aren't invalid either. Sure they're narrow-minded to group everyone together w/o considering WHY they like this manhwa and Suengho but lets not act like they crazy. A good part of the yaoi fandom (often young and ignorant ppl) do bend over backwards to deny various types of sexual assault, often because they don't think anything is rape unless its extremely violent and textbook. To some individuals yaoi does perpetuate their naivety about rape and rape culture.

Let not get it twisted, what's happening in chapter 21 is 100% rape. It doesn't matter if NaKyum enjoyed it, he would not have consented if he knew it was Suengho. The author made it pretty damn clear that that soju was Everclear potent and would leave anyone completely incoherent. The author was making it pretty obvious that he was black out drunk. Idk if y'all have ever been blackout drunk but your body goes on auto-pilot while being completely out of it. A shocking amount of rapes happens to victims who are blackout drunk. NaKyum is another victim of that.

Yes, I did enjoy the scene. That shit was beautifully drawn and passionate. No, I don't think Seungho was nice for giving him a "good time" because at the end of the day I know that, most likely, NaKyum will wake up knowing he was violated and feel pretty shitty about it. Unless the artist is one of those romanticize rape types, please lord I hope not! I really hope this goes into the twisted, obsessive love direction

In chapter 19 here, when Nakyum went at the door where is Seungho, he called Seungho "Sir In Hun"; which shows that he thinks he sees the teacher.
So yes, Seungho made love to him knowing it.

How you gonna name something 'Trap City' and make the romantic interest a yuppie looking white boy I just---

I blame mainstream "trap music" for this.

I don't think I've seen a manhwa OR manga this damn engaging and beautifully drawn since reading Harada. The drama and suspense is so well executed I deadass feel like I'm watching a TV show with a whole damn team behind it!

This mangaka is so well acquainted with anatomy and emotions. I rarely see characters with such expressive faces, something is so raw and real about the way the characters emote that makes them seem almost too human.

This chapter shows that brilliantly: Jihwa's pretty and noble appearance contorted into something ugly and barbaric when his jealous nature finally came to a head, he looked like he wanted to destroy Na-kyum when he attacked him bruh. Not to mention how Seungho's eyes jumps out at you when he catches Jihwa; he shifts from 'intimidating but hot' to 'genuinely terrifying' in such a chilling way.

Even Na-kyum's tearful expression was messy and heart-breaking. It really makes you feel for him and the helpless situation he's been thrown into. Like damn, first he gets sexually assaulted then attacked. I just want to rescue the poor child but at least Jihwa is gonna get his

This series seriously needs to end. It's good for an author to know when a story is ran into the ground. Honestly it should've ended at chapter 30.

    caroline4323 July 4, 2019 3:54 pm

It could be still good. Potentially...It is very sad it´s not. I am a huge fan so it bothers me very much. Very disappointed. Even the art is just bad now. Not only the story writing.

1evis1ittlea$$hole June 2, 2019 5:00 pm

Really should be a shota tag....gross

Don't you love going into the comments of a manhwa that's literally labelled tragedy and seeing people lose their shit over the fact that it was, well, tragic?

People are unsatisfied with the fact that the ending wasn't happy and that lessons weren't resolved. Let me tell you guys a secret: tragedies are tragic BECAUSE the characters never escape their hell. It's a tragedy BECAUSE they don't learn their lesson and don't find true salvation. It's supposed to tear you apart while you watch these flawed characters sink into their own damnation even if they could be saved. That's what makes it sad, that's what makes it compelling.

Like it or not this was an excellently written tragedy. The conflict that the father felt with his humanity and his resentment, the cruel reality of child abuse and how it can make a child into a monster, the ugliness of envy and how it can snuff out an innocent life, even Tae who shows the irrationality of love and how it can lead you to nowhere.

Yes every character is flawed including y'all precious Tae, are we going to forget that he raped Minjae when he felt like he was going to lose him? Is that not an incredible breach of trust on top of being controlling? Even the story treated it as an offense though I think it could've been treated way more seriously, there's no way Minjae should've gave him another chance after Tae ASSAULTED him but whatever. Anyway, I'm tired of people acting like Tae is innocent when he showed his ugly side too, like how he continued to over step his boundaries when Minjae told him from the jump what they were. Then again some fujoshis seem think rape is like a lovers' quarrel. It's not. He deserved more than the slap on the wrist.

Anyways, this is a tragedy. It's a realistic tragedy about very real life conflicts, this type of story is not for everyone but that doesn't make it a badly written story. It's amazing how people on this website can accept the flawed and fucked up characters on Killing Stalking because the plot and characters are very in-your-face and larger than life yet when the tragedy is more realistic and subtle people act like whiny babies because the story wasn't happy and the characters aren't perfect and completely likable. I knew what I was getting myself into when I clicked on this, y'all just mad your unrealistic expectations weren't fulfilled

    Amarinth April 15, 2019 7:18 am

Well said! That's what made this more realistic and (it's not the right word, but) enjoyable/engaging to read. It's more relatable and pulls you in.

Budercups are poisonous May 5, 2019 6:00 pm

I agree, I liked a lot the story, it feels very real, and I know it may be happening. It just hurts, you can call me sentimental, and I don’t ignore tae mistakes, but I do think he was the nicest in this story:/ everyone was terrible, disgusting just like real life ~ yay!
    Have a nice day
Hope I can help others and learn from my and others wrongs
