I can't be the only one who was frantically searching the panels to see if my boy Katakuri came with the bog mom pirates or not. I'm kinda sad he didn't since I love him so much but I'm also relieved since they aren't going to get much action going right now so seeing him in the background devoid of all his epicness is a waste.
I don't think the mangaka is going to make an all out Kaido vs big mom war while Luffy and Law are there because they don't fit on either side so are they just going to hang around while the war is ongoing? This was proven by the appearance of this king guy who sunk their ship. Honestly, I'm surprised by big mom's attack, I totally didn't see that coming and I usually see 90% of action coming in mangas.
On another note, Kaido felt a bit out of character when he freaked out about the big mom pirates and how it'll be an all out war if they reach Kaido's kingdom. I mean, truthfully and rationally, he is 100% correct to be on alert and if it were another person, it would've been the perfect reaction to have but this Kaido: the guy who keeps attempting suicide without succeeding, the immortal strongest creature on the world so why is he acting like a regular ruler whose kingdom is being attacked? If anything, shouldn't he seek an all out war as a means of entertainment and hopefully an opportunity to die (even if he an't truly die, fighting with a yonko is as close as it gets to that)?
Finally, I think the mangaka is going to focus on characters other than Luffy in this arc (at least until the final big Luffy fight (?)) but for now, it seems like he is going to be compensating for the lack of screen time for Sanji since he didn't have a major fight in dressrosa nor in the big mom arc so I suppose it's his time to shine.
I don't hate other characters but I'd much rather just see the focus being on Luffy. I want to see if him and Kidd do something epic together and I especially want to see if the whole lot (Luffy, Law, Kidd) truly get to fight Kaido in this arc or will they just team up to run away...
So many questions...

Honestly, is the mangaka making the right choice by releasing the other manga about amourou's adventures at the expense of this manga?
I noticed that for the last few months, detective conan rarely gets updated and I wouldn't question it if it's a health issue because a person's health is most important but turns out the mangaka is favouring his new zero manga and when he works on it, he can't work on detective conan which was already getting too stretched and nothing major was happening here.
I don't know his and his peoples' train of thoughts but for me, Detective conan is the true work that he is known for and people stick to, this new work is just a spinoff and people would like it as extra chapters but not as a standalone manga. People are already complaining that detective conan is getting boring even with weekly chapters, so is it the right call to make those releases even more scarce? So instead of a tiny amount of action per week it becomes a negligible amount of action per month or couple of months?
I hope this isn't going to be forever because personally I don't give a shit about zero's manga. I don't actively seek it out and unless someone shares it on facebook or twitter, I don't even bother to google it.
Again, if the mangaka is sick or doing research for future cases then all is well and I hope he recovers if it's the former but if detective conan is taking second place after that "manga" then it pisses me off

I suppose that is a possibility as well. It's understandable that such a long ongoing work would cause him writer's block and personally, despite how much I adore detective Conan, I would rather see him end it than drag it on if he has no new ideas. But maybe, even if he wishes to end it, he has contracts and too many things depending on it...
In a way, I understand the situation but I wish it was different. I see my favorite manga One piece, which, for me comes way on top of Detective Conan, and I see how the mangaka seems to be always enjoying himself and his work reflects it...I wish Aoyama-Gosho-sensei was the same. I hope that even though, personally, I hate the zero manga, he is at least enjoying himself and not being forced to do it just to make more sales.
I remember reading before about how the mangaka of fairy tail got too much pressure from both fans (who didn't want anyone to die in the manga which caused him to constantly alter the plot) and his management and he didn't feel very comfortable

I hope he really moves to be honest. This isn't just one of those "make him miss you and move on with your life so he realizes he loves you" sort of plot. But I think they're making no progress, if anything the sempai is treating him like a pet and is nowhere near getting over his love for the other guy. This isn't healthy for the guy that loves his sempai. He needs to find a life that doesn't necessarily revolve around his sempai.
I honestly don't care if they end up together or not because there is 0 chemistry there but what I care about is that he needs to be disillusioned and get his life together and stop being someone's pet waiting for their master to come home after fucking some random guy. That can't be a permanent lifestyle

Sera is becoming more and more annoying. I liked her better when she first appeared now she is just there to stir things up. Like what is she trying to do? She knows Conan is Shinichi for sure and it benefits no one if Ran finds out his secret so why?
If she is trying to get Shinichi's help in the future to aid her mother, bothering him so much isn't exactly a good foundation for trust so why would be be inclined to help?

That went from super cute and fluffy to psychotic murderous possessive monstrous entity in like 0.1 seconds x'D
Seriously though, I like both the cuteness and the darkness in this story. The seme clearly has issues relating to his past and the way him and the uke were going on about this (not talking about it at all) was not healthy. Sure, your lover doesn't need to know everything about you but when you can't even tell them where you're from without it creating a sombre atmosphere then you either learn to trust them with a part of your past or you part ways
The couple from chapter 6 are in the most unhealthy relationship that I've seen in a while. The seme has absolutely no redeeming qualities. He is lazy, a leech, a cheater and a sadist...not even the hot kind of sadist that enjoys a bit of punishment in bed. Just the garbage worthless kind of sadist who enjoys seeing the person that loves them cry in desperation and sorrow.
The uke has absolutely no self esteem. If you threaten to leave someone but never act on it, you're making a joke out of yourself. He is a wimp and I don't even pity him.
Garbage story and garbage couple.
I hated the common "cheating theme" in the previous stories as well but at least, even if the guy being cheated on was a wimp, he eventually left the cheater while in the last story this shit romanticizes cheating. 0/10
i really loved everything yo said the last story really leaves a bitter aftertaste .. i got pissed & triggered ..i really hate stories like this Plus that kind of seme & these doormat ukes makes me more triggered
Exactly!! I somewhat enjoyed the first and second stories but the last one angered me so much in so many ways. I felt I was almost getting an aneurysm from getting so pissed off with the story.
