there is something particularly heartwarming about brotherly love in these stories. Seeing them come to term with the fact that they were not originally brothers and grow to care about each other do much makes me love such stories more than the action

everything they do makes me go all awwwww even them exploring role play for the first time is making me so giddy while reading the chapter

At the beginning, I hated how much Silas interfered with Arthur's job and one time even started stripping him at work while his colleagues were next door. But, I'm glad that in recent chapters Arthur has a more professional attitude and can switch from his sexual and romantic tendencies to a professional mode. I like stories where fucking around to any degree in the personal life does not impact the professiona life... that much. Sure, Arthur is motivated to solve the issue with Silas' brother but that is a different issue.

I hate body horror and only started reading this because based on the title and cover, I wrongly assumed that it might be isekai where MC gets to raise the little brother he killed by mistake (or felt guilty about his death despite not killing him directly) in their previous life. I did not check out the tags at all.

it's so frustrating to see elements you love in a story you hate because of a shitty ML. I love the premise of a loyal general who hides his feelings towards the emperor. I love that the general is strong on his own right. I love that the empress' character is complex and he isn't just a vindictive person and he does to some degree understand that the fault falls on the asshole emperor.

at the same time, I despise everything about the emperor. He isn't even one of those morally grey characters who are assholes to everyone but their love interest. If anything, he is the worst to the general
