this story didn't land the ending. It had a good premise and wasn't like most cliché guideverse stories but the last 20 chapters or so ruined it

this makes no sense so far. If both are legitimate kids then why acknowledge one and shun the other? it would only make sense if blondie isn't the father's son but no one talked about an affair

This author's work is always a hit or miss and this was a terrible miss. The way the shitty alpha ML didn't even apologize for the rape and even blamed MC by saying he thought MC didn't go into heats as in he was seduced by MC....and if you're going to use the "it's beyond his control" miss me with that bullshit. He was reasonable enough to not mark MC when MC protested so he was ratinal to some degree and could've stopped. Fun fact: that's how they dismiss the insanity plea in a lot of cases. If the defendant was rational enough to do action A (let's say it's putting on your shoes before stepping outside or stepping on glass) then, you were rational enough during the act itself if it's within the same timeframe.

Also, even if he wasn't rational, when he regained his rationality yet blamed MC and acted like a dick, that just shows how much of a major asshole he is. Case closed

I just read chapter 80 and it is the end of the main story. Very underwhelming. Basically, Valerie gets hurt protecting Asil and then he gets hospitalized. Asil feels bad. Valerie wakes up and goes straight to Asil who welcomes him and all is well with the world. Listen, I was 100% expecting them to end up together and I made peace with that a while back but I wanted more. I would've prefered more heart to heart discussions and some distance in which Valerie, for the first time ever, respects Asil's decision over his own separation anxiety. Then, at the end, they get back together. But, whenever an author goes for "dickhead gets hurt protecting MC that they originally abused so said MC feels bad and forgives everything", it is such a let down....

Somewhat good news is that there are side stories to come so at least we get something beyond this
