I don't give a fuck who is seme and who is uke, I give a fuck that one of them is into this only to please his cheating masochistic girlfriend while the other will obviously start catching feelings and that is a recipe for disaster....would it have made that much of a difference if black-haired guy was just curious and wanted to explore being tied up and whipped? Did we need him to have some bitchass girlfriend (before anyone comes for me, I'm not calling her that because "she is in the way of MC and ML's relationship", I'M calling her that because she cheated and then use being a masochist as an excuse)
In all seriousness, I wouldn't be so pissed off at this type of plot if I was sure that every single person reading this shit is mature and will not get infleunced by this type of toxicity....I read so much toxic garbage when I was a teen that could've messed me up and made me accept abuse as part of romance but I managed to avoid that because I was an introvert for most of that time ( I internalized this shit and didn't get in a single relationship) and by the time I became more mature, I realized it was all nonsense.
I just hope that most people read this shit and either drop it or enjoy it without it impacting their own perception.
I actually like that the author did this because it made no sense for the buff MC to not be able to fuck up that scrawny ass motherfucker....so, MC is fucked up and could've escaped but didn't. At least that makes sense.
Ross is a crazy bastard but I can't even blame him for being obsessed over Shin. Dude made the neat freak snake-like Jay walk around in public with cum stains on his clothes
Yeah no. Couldn't give this shit a shot past chapter 7. So, he took her from one hell to another and out a bigger target on her back? She went from being abused by her step mother or whoever that bitch is to being the joke of high society and the target of everyone who dislikes Mr weakling prince? Yay progress
Considering that in real life Nobunaga committed sepuku, unless this story was going for "alternate ending for a real character whose end we know", the chances of the story having a happy ending were slim so, I'll take a sorta frustrating ending over tragedy
the tragic MC bullshit trope is so exhausting to read....it's one thing when MC meets ML when he's down on his luck but I find no enjoyment in this type of story where MC's life could've been a greek tragedy from the moment he was born
I knew that the long haired guide was going to become somewhat of a friend to MC but I was expecting it to happen progressively...this makes no sense. We saw him taunting MC as they looked at the broadcast and he was the furthest thing from friendly and now he acts like he is some childhood friend who has always had MC's back. If the novel showed more details of them getting closer while MC was at their guild and away from ML then, the manhwa did a horrible job of portraying that
It has only been 6 chapters but I forgot why MC is sticking around to begin with...I need to reread chapter 1 because this asshole guide ML ain't shit so, why tve fuck is MC not out of that house already?
Shagar is a great hero whose incredible magical power ended a war… Or at least, that's what he use...

I don't like either semes but that isn't even my biggest gripe with this story. I'm annoyed by the whole "seal" thing. I'm not one to cry "I want MC to be super OP and if he has powers, it's a waste to seal them" but this is different: that seal is a death sentence basically. It's not that he has become weak but can have a semblance of a normal life. He is constantly producing magic that cannot be used so he is a ticking time bomb ...how is this a peaceful life? You're telling me that in this world where advanced magic exits, there is no spell to force him to never oppose the king, if that is the desired outcome? He is dependent on people that he needs to have sex with or else he will die a painful death. This is the furthest thing from a peaceful life

The raws go up to chapter 46 and nothing changes. It's the same cycle of torture except that the empress got pregnant (or is pretending to be? the machine learning translator was confusing). In recent chapters MC got kidnapped and raped. But, it's exactly what happened in the frst 5 chapters or so, it just goes on and on forever. Don't expect the emperor to become any less of a worthless piece of shit. MC is so broken that he didn't even try to escape or kill himself at any point even though he looks like a zombie all the time.
Reading this story when I was having a depressing day already was not the move
I'm tired of these garbage stories. I can tolerate stories where one character is a little mean as in not super polite and appear standoffish but get softer when they fall in love....but I get no enjoyment (and I don't understand how anyone else can) from stories where seme blackmails, rapes, terrifies, and asserts his dominance over uke by having awful dubious consent sex (if not straight out rape) with him in front of others despite his protest.....
I wasn't expecting some grand plot from this. Most guideverse stories are super predictable...same goes for most isekai....most anything really. But the second these stories use the amnesia bullshit plot device, it just signals to me "author wanted to make another season and didn't have any good ideas about how to do that other than restarting the relationship" because that's what memory loss is, in these stories: it's a way to take a couple that might have barely started communicating well and shitting all over whatever progress they made
I read the machine translated scans years ago and I'm going to spoil the ending here, don't read it and then bitch about spoilers:

In the end, Rowe goes back to living with his sister but keep missing Adrian because the poor dude was too damaged at that point from the drugs and the brainwashing of Adrian. Then receives a letter one day. That prompts him to travel and would you look at that.....he meets Adrian at some remote place. His sister goes to the police and keeps looking for him as a missing person but he is with Adrian at some remote place and the last scene shows Adrian looking at the news of his company and drugs and then he walks to Rowe who is sat at a bench in the garden and that's it. The end!
I don't think that there has been a single time that I liked the memory loss plot device...everything else, even some toxic tropes, I might like under certain circumstances but never amnesia. The closes I got to not abhoring it was when a few stories used it on ukes who ran away from abusive or just asshole semes and it helped me enjoy seme's suffering to some degree but still, I would rather it is never used again
I'm getting more and more annoyed with these asshole MLs who act like pieces of shit from the first time they meet MC. It's such a garbage trope and it's annoying because it's basically the age old "cold CEO guy mistreats the poor female MC and treats her like ""the others" and then realises she is "special" " in a different font and it makes me cringe so bad
Sometimes in these stories I blame the uke for disappearing and not trying to clear up anything but this is do valid because:
- ML used uke and even told him so multiple times in the beginning
- ML was caught red handed with the long haired guide who is now MC's "friend" in compromising positions
- ML didn't tell MC about his previous guide and let everyone misunderstand
- ML got another guide and didn't explain shit to MC
- Overall, ML played with MC's feelings and kept him in the dark. There is no fault on MC's side. ML caused every misunderstanding and MC stayed for too long
