lol so, she thought the guy betrayed her in her previous life and colluded with her sister and yet as soon as she goes back in time she is immediately fawning over him? Girl, get a backbone. I wouldn't have minded at all if she figured out eventually that he didn't do anything to harm her and decided to give him a second chance but being a fool in love after you just experienced death is so stupid.
Also, it just feels like the author was making shit up as they went like a wattpad author who never had any idea about what the whole story would look like and just uploaded chapter by chapter when they felt like writing something....
I've read too many good stories in this genre for this cliché slop to be worth reading even out of boredom
hey I despise ML when it pertains to MC but when it comes to him fucking up his entire family, I don't mind whatsoever. I mean let's be for real, we all knew he must've had a miserable excuse of a father....his entire personality screams daddy issues. So, him torturing and killing every single sibling, concubine that his father had, and servant is not something that makes me hate him any more. It's par for the course
I think that I've read too many stories with a similar plot but in which the ML either knows MC likes him or is trying to manipulate MC into liking him (ML falls for MC but MC considers him a friend to ML does the whole push and pull and avoids MC to force MC to come to him)....and because of how many stories I read, I fully expected ML to be manipulative, but good on him for genuinely trying to figure out what was wrong with MC. He isn't blameless since he literally proposed to a woman and then chased his friend across the globe and even when she visited him, he preferred to stay with his friend and forced her to break up with him.
I'm glad that they're together but I would've preferred if this story didn't have the marriage element. I would've read it anyway if MC ran away from ML because he realised that his 15 year old feelings will never be reciprocated and woke up one day and was like "time to move on". That could've worked as well
The annoying shaman on ML's side can be an asshole but he is useful and he'll probably play a key role in saving MC as well....I just cannot forgive how he added to MC's torment by suggesting that he takes on ML's curse. He did it fully knowing that the frail altruistic MC would accept. So, he is a great ally of ML but an absolute dickhead to MC
lol I was like "I haven't seen an update from this story for over 10 days or so, might as well check it out to see if I missed anything" and lo and behold, I did read the latest chapter the day it was released but I didn't realise it was the end. I must've been in a rush and did not scroll until the very end to see the word end. But, seriously, if you delete the last couple of panels, this could've been any regular chapter. I wonder if they decided to pull the plug and the story and rushed the mangaka to end this or if this is how it was meant to end all along...
It feels like it's missing quite a lot. I fully expected the mob boss guy to be back in the picture...not even as a second ML like some reader predicted or hoped for but for the sake of the story itself. MC had a close connection to him and kept his mouth shut out of loyalty. So, to some degree, if said boss cherished MC and his desire to leave the gang, then, it does make sense for him to stay away....I just wish that the author made that clearer. He obviously kept track of MC's actions since he killed the guy who was responsible for hurting MC at the end of season 1. But, if he did know everything that's happening to MC, why did he not intervene when ML was a major dickhead and tortured MC? Did he assume that him intervening would make the situation worse since the police would have a stronger belief that MC still has contact with the gang....I can see why the character might have acted (or not acted and chose to stay in the shadows) in certain situations, I just wish we had more insight into that as readers. It didn't need to be a grand re-encounter. Just show us what MC and ML might have not been privy to
The fuck? No, we were robbed! I was completely fine with the side stories ending like a chapter ago before we jumped 11 years to the future but the author giving us one chapter with MC and ML being unbelievable hotties and the chibi brother grown up and the tiny baby being the perfect mix of his fathers .... and then not continue that for at least 10 more chapters, you gotta be fucking kidding me. I will take to the street and riot over this!!!!!
I love this couple so much! With very few exceptions, it's hard for me to find a yaoi story where I love both MC and ML because a lot of authors do not spend enough time fleshing out both of their characters and making them likeable.
I find that both Luke ans Andrew have such relatable qualities and feel like actual human beings and I love that
hahahahaha listen I don't condone kissing your patner in public when you know that they don't want others to know about the relationship but that was funny and hot at the same time. I wonder if he did it because he noticed that some people were eying his guy at the party or if he wanted to send a warning so that no one tries to abuse him in the industry
Someone spoiled the fact that ML was an asshole to MC and went back in time early on so, all this time, I was reading this with that lens and I have to say that I feel ambivalent about the whole thing. In the previous timeline, ML had every reason to suspect MC because MC did betray him for his family. Also, ML did not offer up MC to the rapist. So, his biggest offense and it's a huge one was the rape. In tbe same timeline, MC was wrong for betraying ML yet expecting sincerity from him. I understand MC's trauma and his need for a family but betrayal is betrayal.
In the current timeline, ML was annoying. He couldn't make up his mind and kept playing this push and pull game with MC. He bounded with him yet didn't want to imprint. He wanted to give MC independence yet kept acting overpossessive. He promised to support MC during his big product reveal party yet did not show his face to him (don't give a shit if he did go there, what's important is showing his face and supporting his fiancé and he did not do that)....
Hence, the ambivalence...
Ah how the mighty have fallen....it's always interesting to see a guy who constantly fucks around meet that one person who deviates from the pattern
I finally got why the art seems so familiar to me.....it looks like those short stories that I read as a child that would have one picture every few pages to keep the children's attention.
Just to clarify, I'm not saying the art js childish, it's gorgeous and totally wasted on this shitty story, it's just nostalgic for me and I kept wondering why and now I got it. I wish I had kept some of those stories just to look at the art again
I watched the drama before reading this and I'm glad I did because if I read this first, it would've been too frustrating and I wouldn't have wanted to watch the drama.
Overall, the sunbae is weird and so is the black haired guy (not ML) but they're both correct in their assessment of MC and how quickly he falls in love. Dude loved all three guys and would love a fourth guy if he just smiles at him....I'm all for moving on when you find yourself in an unrequited love but he is just wishy washy with every one
Joshua is one of my favourite omegas ever. I just adore how strong, smart, and cool he is. He is also unapologetically himself, he doesn't deny his attraction to ML but at the same time isn't annoyingly clingy.
On another note, while I would welcome any progress on the romance front since I'm rooting for this couple so hard, the kiss was a bit rushed. I understand that it was probably a suspended bridge affect kinda situation since they both narrowly escaped death and their emotions are heightened but it still felt weird. I wish that more forethought went into that scene on the author's side. We could've taken a different route and arrived at the sane destination and had them kiss but with more prep.
I'm rereading this and I'm bamboozeled by the fact that in chapter 11, when MC slept at his house, he woke up and saw that it was 05:24 and ML was like "I imagine the buses aren't running anymore. You can stay the night" and I'm like the fuck? What night? It's almost 05:30h and buses should start running soon. It made me double take and I went back to check that it wasn't 01:24 instead of 05:24
boo fucking hoo so, MC sacrificed everything for his family, including his bitch of a sister and her cushiony life was in good part afforded by him, but because that didn't last and her house fell, she took the first opportunity to stab her brother in the back for some rando she met like yesterday? Yep makes perfect sense. What a bitch. I hope that we don't see more of her in the story unless she is going to kick the bucket soon
Iruma is pissed! The two MCs that are hella goofy but should be feared when they're angry are Luffy and Iruma
ML never grew on me. He was a dickhead in the previous timeline and he is insufferable in the current timeline
Wagner better not die! A lot of these stories set the faithful big teddy bear bodyguard for a definitive death and I will riot if that happens.
