The thing is, I don't know what to feel about these stories that have non human characters because for all intents and purposes, human morality means nothing to him. It also does not help that he was just around Derek for almost his entire life and Derek catered to his every whim so he is even less knowledgeable about what is right and wrong according to human society.

Maybe I'm not as open minded as I thought. Here's the thing: I pretty much tolerate everything when a couple is in bed (sub x Dom, role play and pretend you're being arrested and getting your cavities stuffed to max capacity, whatever)....but I cringe so hard when that dynamic is brought to everyday routine like wanting your significant other to act toxic as you're just washing clothes or watching TV....ugh brother ugh so cringe!

For the nth time: these fucking sexy bastards are at it again! This mangaka has phenomenal skills at drawing sex scenes, making the dialogue sexy unlike a lot of stories that include cringy dirty talk, and just choosing the best panels/POVs/positions

I don't mind the existence of asshole characters like this....but when the author chooses to not redeem said asshole in any shape or form until the very end, that's when I have a problem with it

MC dedicated his entire life to his family and even endured being raped and humuliated to protect them then his bitch of a sister gave him up to get dicked down by some guy

I was able to tolerate the abusive asshole ML because I thought MC was not going to fall for him....kinda like the characters in "The foul" but I'm starting to realise that this MC is setting himself up for a tragic heartbreak by falling for his abuser and reading this will hurt

lol if he loses his memories or acts hostile towards MC then this story will have collected all the infinity stones of absurd clichés

This is the weakest attempt at redeeming an abusive family that I've ever seen and I've read hundreds of transmigration/isekai/time reversal stories

the twist would be if the current ML is not the white haired guy from the past but the abusive "husband" who went through multiple reincarnations and suffered before he got to meet MC in current life....

But that would be so sad, especially if the white haired good young master did not get to be with MC in any life time

I feel like Jake doesn't regret his actions, not because he doesn't care that he hurt Shin by approaching him with the intention of using him initially, but because everything he did led them to this moment where they are together, so he is content with that. Also, I love how he eased Shin's anxiety about what will happen to them after the mission, and he basically said that they will always be together. Fucking hell, these guys are super romantic without even saying the words "I love you" and all that cheesy stuff

the synopsis of this story should be: an incompetent agent who doesn't know how to do shit gets involved with a psychopath who somehow has otherworldly strength. The imbecile agent keeps doing the same stupid shit and keeps getting toyed with by the absurdly overpowered psychopath. That's it. That's the story.

I hate to say this but I'm glad this ended so soon because the new art is insufferable

I've read stories where female MC is a transmigrator into a novel or video game who needs to torture the original heroine or make original ML fall for her just to survive and I sympathized with them...

I imagine that if this story were told from the perspective of the guide who needs to be useful (by making ML fall for him) or else the doctor will literally kill him, then, I would've sympathized with him. It still would've required more explanation about what he did to every guide whose esper he seduced but it's not impossible to explain in a way that makes him appear in a sympathetic light.

It's the power of POV, I suppose. Everyone despises him including me but if the POVs were switched, he might've been pitied by most readers

I don't know what this says about me but I enjoy what most people I talked to find annoying about detective conan: The escalation to the max followed by a quick de-escalation and a return to normal everyday life. I do not enjoy constant stress and long drawn-out arcs of constant egding

I hate how Shin always talks down to himself. Every other sentence or thought is "I know I'm dumb but....". He is such a hardworking actor, he has a good character, and he seems really smart with cute naiveté sometimes but he is far from dumb but the way he speaks to himself is awful. I hope that the author has intentions of making him work on that. It would be great to see him build up his confidence beyond the usual yaoi trope of "This awesome guy loves me so I might as well be more confident". He has great merit outside of his romantic relationship

ML is a creep for going after the kid he raised (and potentially orphaned) and the detective is almost just as much of a creep for having strange feelings about MC that he met as a child and then a teen....
