So, MC's mom isn't his bio mom but I assume that the dad is his bio dad despite being an abusive piece of shit. I wonder what's the story there. Did the father bring a child froma random woman and tell his wife "in the public eye, he will be our child" or did the wife switch the kids knowing that her own child isn't the husband's and get a child from a mistress....I assume it's the former because if it is the latter, that is one hell of dumbass father and one hell of a dumbass "mother" for being seen in public with her actual child more than her supposed child (MC)

It's so annoying how the person who falls in love second just expects their partner who fell first to just do everything first.....just because he fell first and gathered the courage to confess it doesn't mean that he needs to take the first step forever....

This has the right mix of seriousness, comedy, and cuteness. The last panel of chapter 39 is soooo cute. Little ginseng better never die or I will riot!!!

I wonder if omegaverse came as a response to yaoi mangakas being criticized because they kept hearing "that's not how assholes work. You don't just get wet because you're a bottom". Then, these motherfuckers were like "you know what? We'll create a universe where this shit makes sense and you can all shove your criticism up your non-self-lubricating asses"

No!!! he just raised a flag. Everyone knows that in the same way you don't say "it's a quite night" if you work in a hospital or fire station, you should never say "life can't be more perfect" if you're an MC or ML in a yaoi story

I read this last night right beore going to sleep and I don't even know if I left a comment then but now that I'm awake and have drunk my coffee, I would like to say "what the fuckity fuck???". So many issues on top of one another:

- The fuck is wrong with MC to feel horny for that younger prince? Even if you give him the benefit of the doubt and think "he didn't feel anything towards him but sympathy and loyalty until he became an adult (don't even know if he is an adult yet)", he still rescued and abused kid, watched him grow, and then was like "I like him romantically" YIIIIIIKES. and that's even after assuming he never had any bad intention while the prince was an actual kid

- The fuck is wrong with the older brother? I could've supported his actions if he chose to exhile MC and not sexually torture him....and the biggest red flag of all is him looking at his younger brother in such a disgusting way and leading him to a threesome situation

- The fuck is wrong with the younger brother for not nope-ing his way out of that situation as soon as he saw MC and his older brother having sex??? Who sticks around after that and even becomes a participant?

What a bunch of fucked up characters

Leo's portrayal after the time skip bothers me.....the art feels wrong. It's like the mangaka superimposed her toddler face on an older body and it doesn't look right. I initially thought "is this one of those instances where mangakas are great with drawing male characters but not female ones?" (if you're a yaoi fan, you have come across such cases many many times) but I don't think that is the case because other female characters look fine

I wonder if this is the longest mangaka title that I've ever come scross.....it might be

No one needed to drink that drink. This is a lazy plot device to get MC and ML horny for each other and move the plot along.

This type of plot device only makes sense if the one forcing the drink is some higher up and neither MC nor ML can refuse the drink. In this setting, it makes 0 sense. Are they teens eho got peer pressured into using drugs? Be for real!

I would pay good money for a story like this where MC just wants to be with her loved ones and couldn't give a shit about being the love interest of the crown prince......but for her to actually end up doing what she wanted initially. Just save the kingdom or whatever, bid the prine adieu, and go back.
I get that plans change and you could ague that she will eventually find another form of happiness by helping people and being a crown princess, but that sounds so bleak to me. She will have to abide to strict nobility rules and restrain her freedom....hey, I'm definitely biased but I really hate this concept regardless of how many times I come across it.

It is more palatable to me when someone who was a pampered noble becomes a crown princess than a free spirited MC....kind of like "Had I not seen the sun, I could have borne the shade"

I need to stop reading this mangaka's work. The art is great but the plot is always annoying. I think that I've had enough of omegaverse that is basically an extreme version of real life sexism. After years of reading shitty stories, I'm going to drop the ones that have this type of plot from chapter 1 and cherish the ones that manage to portray a healthy dynamic

I don't like that Andrew keeps things from Luke but Luke is definitely too nice and the type of person who would be easily used and betrayed by his supposed friends

This "story" is so random, I swear! So, around chapter 48, MC will have sex with both ML and second ML after that asshole (2nd ML's brother) drugged MC AGAIN and got him all horny. The chairman guy is dead and second ML takes over. Second ML puts ML in a prison. The uggo with the burn on his face is back. I mean the guy who wanted MC dead because he has a hard on for ML or whatever (supposedly he wants MC gone because he fancies himself a kingmaker and MC is a distraction to ML....but I think he just gets a hard on for ML)....and that's where the raws are currently at

Lol the way that plan was rushed and the mangaka crammed both the plan and the execution in the same chapter tells me that this is going nowhere.

I keep coming back to reread this every couple of months. This is one of the most romantic yaois that I've ever read. Every story this mangaka worked on has immaculate art but not every one of them leaves an impact on me the way this one does. It just has the perfect mix of romance and angst and I'm delighted that we got the present timeline in the last few chapters. I wouldn't change a thing about this story if I had the power to do so
