It feels like the end is near and I'm looking forward to the bitch's comeuppance. I understand that her old family was brainwashed to some degree, but, some things cannot be undone. Them dying is the best outcome considering that even if they came out of the brainwashing, they would never live normal lives since they tortured and killed their own family member and fucked over their nation and people by leading them to this nonsence war. There is no good ending for them

Sigh....this isn't by any means the most awful story I've ever read but it's frustrating because it could've been so much better. While I get that maybe the author wad going for a realistic seme by not having him do a 180 in this new life but he could've had him change a little in a realistic way. He remembered his past life from the get go and had regrets....maybe he didn't fully regret his actions but he regretted the outcome in which he literally had to kill the only person a selfish prick like him loved.

You'd think that even if he is a self centered imbecile, he would hide it a little and even pretend to not be as overbearing as his past life.

Also, the story makes the whole karma thing seem silly. I'm an agnostic atheist myself so the whole concept of a powerful God punishing you in your next life seems silly to me. But this story set that premise from the start with the seme getting nightmares in which that god-like creature tells him he is reaping what he sowed and that he will suffer blablabla....then, his suffering was him being reincarnated as a privileged rich fuck and being separated from MC for like a few months. Oh no! Fear the wrath of the mighty God who punishes you for killing multiple individuals snd ruining countless peoples lives by experiencing the angst that a teenager experiences when they fall in love for the first time. Wowsers

Why did the author have to include the part about MC feeling jealousy? It makes no sense for a reasonable level headed guy like him to feel this way. He should see it as a good sign that his abuser is getting closer to someone else and might stop tormenting him.

This type of shit makes some yaoi stories insufferable.

I thought this week's chapter wasn't going to come out because maybe the mangaka is on a break since I didn't even see the raws yesterday. I love this story from chapter 1 until now. Such a rare thing for a shonen to be enjoyable every single chapter

The annoying thing about this story isn't the premise necessarily. The starting point can be the same but with a better plot about a woman that comes from nothing and makes something out of herself would be interesting to me.

Maybe it's me getting older and more jaded with the world, but I loathe the "poor girl only escapes poverty because her beauty attracted a rich dickhead who toyed with her and traumatized her but look, he regrets it at the end (if even that) and they lived happily ever after" bullshit plot.

I'm not even asking for a fragile girl like her to become a kickers swordswoman or rise into power even though that could be a good plot in a different story. I just wish that her fate didn't rest upon the whims of an asshole.

Is it realistic for rich worthless guys to toy with poor beautiful women? Of course. You don't even need to look back hundreds of years ago. Just see how the rich in today's world are above the law and have escaped allegations left and right unless the planets align and they get the current "diddy" treatment.

Anyway, yes, it's realistic but that makes it utterly boring and frustrating. If I just wanted realistic boring stuff, I'd just watch paint dry. That's as realistic as it gets.

I enjoy being simultaneously curious and a little frustrated when I read this type of stories due to the "supernatural" element not being at the forefront of the plot. Sometimes I do read the tags but more often than not, I just go by the cover of the manga/manhwa/novel and hope for the best. This was one such time. I had to hold myself back from checking out the tags halfway through season 1 and it was worth it.

While this story doesn't have some grand groundbreaking premise, it is still a good read so far. But seeing as the mystery is starting to unravel, maybe the author will divert their effort into fleshing out the relationship between MC and ML...That is not an easy task seeing as ML has been forceful and worst of all, did in fact rape MC more than once
