I have not read the novel but I get the feeling that this is one of those manhwas that you'd appreciate if you read the novel and you'd like the pace and all that but if you're a manhea reader, it feels like it's dragging even though technically stuff is happening

I like the new art but I prefer the humor and funny expressions in the old art. I recently reread all the old chapters and it was still super enjoyable. I'm mostly excited about when the remake gets to the end of the old story. It will take years but I've been a fan of manga like detected conan for over 20 years so, I'm nothing if not a fan of long running stories

I just find myself muttering "dickhead" whenever this dickhead appears lol it's like a reflection now

Currently, this is the story that I'm most excited about amongst hundreds of others that I'm reading in tandem. I can't wait for next week

Everyone is various degrees of unlikable with MC and ML being the worst. MC's fiancé is a little unlikable because of how forceful he was at times but MC 100% in the wrong for breaking promises, lasting after some masked guy behind a wall while having a loving fiancé. Big yikes.

I'm perfectly fine if the author decides to bullshit us with some supposedly poetic beautiful ending where MC and ML die together....I'm fine with it because both are awful people

I'm not always into cute ukes but I feel like this is okay. I like him and despite being a total naive cutiepie with the ML, he doesn't seem like the ditzy type that acts that way with everyone.

On the transmigration plot point, I'm still of the mind that MC is an unreliable narrator and he is the real body owner but thinks he transmigrated into this body. Mayve he had extreme trauma or something. I'm still not sure how (or even if) he is able to know things about the other characters before even meeting them....My first thought was that maybe he used to observe them before being in an accident and all that but how would he know so much without them knowing him before. Was he just stalking random people and making up a plot in his mind that he later on believed to be some "novel plot"

reading stories about people in organizations like these exorcists reminds me of brainwashed people in some organized religions. The way they were casually talking about cutting the kid's feet...sure, they know he is a supernatual being who is basically the spirit of a plant but he talks and acts scared and all....I cannot imagine thinking you're the good guys while doing that shit. I have heard some religious people talk like that as they justify heinous acts and it just breaks my mind

It's always so bittersweet when you see a flashback of a loving cute couple knowing in advance that one or both of them has died.

"women being weak" is biologically true to major degree but another part of it is conditionning. Even today, in 2025, most people I know do not find muscular strong women feminine. I'm not even talking about men specifically and I'm not falking about preferences in a romantic partner. I'm specifically talking about disucussing femininety and what is beautiful in a woman with people from all walks of life, some fetishize muscular women for sexual gratification and most are like "this is a bit much" even when talking about regular muscular women far from the body building sphere. Pushing this idea onto girls from their young age is a self-fulfilling prophecy in the sense that women truly become weak (from a strenght perspective) because they don't want to become muscular.

As for the biological part, it's self-evident. but my anecdotal evidence is that in my case, I'm a strong woman who can't even win in a play fight against my brother who never stepped foot in a gym. While us women have many good biological aspects, physical strength is not one of them compared to men.

Does anyone know in which chapter Joshua's mom died? For the longest time she was around and now she is being referred to as dead and I don't know if she just died off screen or if it was a relevant event that I just forgot about

wait am I confusing this story with another? I could've sworn that MC had a bitchy mother in law and that there was an incident with the maid that the MIL loved and the MIL was awful to MC...but in chapter 81 she is the sweetest person to her. Maybe I'm misremembering this
