I wish this sequel never happened because it made me doubt Asahi's feelings...It made me strongly believe that his attachment is out of convenience and not romantic feelings. He was depressed and happened to find this live-in maid who takes care of him, is cheerful and capable of changing his mood. So disappointing.

I truly enjoy this artist's work. Not only are the story and characters great, but the art is so great that I agree with Shin when he said that Jake wore a cop outfit before but the air around him is completely different now that he realises that Jake is an agent. I totally get that. Back when Jake wore the outfit in Ross' casino, he totally looked like a corrupt cop (which I'm not complaining about....he looked super hot and Shin was so hot for him lol) but now, he looks like a good cop who is strict about following the rules

ML is so unhinged. I don't get easily disturbed, but this dude did it for me. He raped MC and traumatised him, he killed multiple people, potentially got the minister's daughter raped by the emperor (he must have fed her something to cause her to sleep with that old disgusting geezer)....it's all too much. I can enjoy a "blackbelly ML" who acts cutesy and innocent in front of a mature MC and then gets all wild when they're intimate and all that, but this is just a degenerate ML

ML snaps and fucks everyone up and saves MC. By the end of chapter 49, he is seen carrying MC away while that one woman follows behind. She seems to be the only one who was spared since she didn't torment MC. Also, MC bashed in red-head's skull with a rock before being taken away by ML. I suppose this is the point where MC comes to term with the need for violence to survive this god forsaken world....

It's so weird how the second season has so much more horrendous violence and rape that it made me forget that season 1 was godawful but was a walk in the park compared to this shit....

I'm rereading this now because I was bored so, I went through my lists and just picked random stories to reread and this happened to be one of them....While I was reading chapter 1, I remembered that years ago, I commented how it's beyond weird to ask a friend to give you access to their place to have sex. I remember my comment being controversial and people even DMed me because they felt so passionate about this haha

Years later, I still have the same opinion. This isn't even a case where a guy asks their roommate to stay out later than usual or free their place for a date. I sympathize with the mom but like in real life, I can never forgive a mother than leaves her child behind and escapes. If being with the abuser was hell for her, a grown ass adult, how dare she abandon an innocent child in that same environment and just run away? If an adult was suffering, what made her think that her child wouldn't be in the same situation and even a worse one considering that most abusive fathers blame the kid when the mother runs away...

Her abuse is of course not her fault by any means but not taking her child and just running by herself is 100% your fault

I just hope that most people read this shit and either drop it or enjoy it without it impacting their own perception.
