I read the summary and it sounds interesting, but I just have one question. Does either character have kids? I don't like reading stories where one half of the couple has kids.
Thanks!

I thought they were gonna consummate their relationship (of screen of course). but they're didn't. Actually this might be the most "explicit" of her mangas. We got to see some (albeit tame) action :)

I still don't know how I feel about it. A part of me doesn't like it, but another part of me is like " you already spend ink on this, so you can't drop it", but I feel like River got the short end of the stick no matter how you look at it. I doubt he won't end up with Khaol, but honestly speaking Khaol has been less than kind to him and he doesn't really deserve River. I haven't followed up w/ season 2, so I dunno if the bad taste in my mouth will go away with season 2, but for the time being I'm leaning more towards I kinda don't like the story very much.

I feel the same honestly, River deserves so much more. Annoying how the panels are placed because I may be misunderstanding the fact that maybe River is blinded by love and chooses Khaol just because

I feel that is exactly what it is. I mean, why did he fall for Khaol? Sure Khaol is hot and whatever, but I feel like River never had a "chance". Like he fell for Khaol because he "had" to. First his grandma pushes her beliefs on her grandkids, then one grandkid is like " f*ck this $hit, I'm gonna go to the party my friends are throwing me for my 18th birthday like a normal teen" and the other grandkid is like " I'll play along w/ granny's delusion because she's been good to me since my parents divorced" and it wasn't a delusion, grandma literally gifted her grandchild to some supernatural being. At least they didn't have sex immediately after " marrying", but overall in all honesty I can't see any reason for River to love Khaol except that his feelings come from lust Cus he finds the guy hot,or pity Cus Khaol has had a sh*tty past. That still does not justify Khaol treating the poor love struck kid as a commodity.

I read yaoi for the smut, and this story is smutty enough, but I can’t fully enjoy it because I don’t care for stories with young children. I find them annoying. Even this one I mostly skipped all the scenes involving the little brother.

    kamisama November 21, 2019 7:18 am

Whatttt children are so cute tho

    obake-chan December 10, 2019 2:27 am

Happens to me too. I thinks it's because authors rarely portray the real behavior of little kids. They all are out of character / age / rol and are just plain weird it irritates me. Or makes me laugh. Depends on how ridiculous is the behavior XD

I went to look for their Wordpress page and it's been deleted.
Anyone know anything about this?

Nobody November 12, 2019 4:13 am

Lol I would like it if the friend to hook up with the sister for once. He's not the type of character that gets anything is stories, so it'll be refreshing if he actually got something.

    Humab November 12, 2019 8:35 am

Yeah but he’s such a turn off lol at least for me ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Does one of the characters have a kid w/ his ex? Or his ex has a kid w/ some one else? The summary mentions a kid but it's not entirely clear who's kid it is.
I don't feel like reading a story where one of the parties has a kid. I don't really like reading stories where one half of the couple has a small kid. Most kids are portrayed as very annoying and I feel like they take away from the relationship. So, in short, Rions girlfriend had a kid, is it his or not?
Thanks

the seme broke up with his girlfriend after high school. she had a kid with someone else. but i am assuming they are still close.

Oh ok, as long as it’s not his kid I’m ok w/ reading the story. Thanks for the clarification.

I truly cannot understand why people are having an issue with this particular pairing. Yeah Dongho is in high school, but hell, even in the US there are 18 year old seniors, meaning they're in high school, but are technically adults already. So an 18 year old high school senior can't date a college sophomore just because they're still in high school? Suddenly there's this freak out over 23 year old Jaehwan trying to make a move on 19 year old Dongho. Dongho might be considered a minor in Korea, but I have not seen this type of freak out over other 18 year olds in Yaoi mangas having sex w/ men much older than them and last I checked in Japan you're not an adult until you're 20, right?
Another thing, people keep throwing around the whole "minor" and "age" thing because they consider Dongho is being manipulated because he's a minor, but in reality even if in most of the world 18 is considered "adult" the brain doesn't truly mature until the mid- twenties, so then, should 18 year olds not legally be able to date a 30 year old because their brain is not fully developed even though the law says they're an adult?
I don't care if Jaewhan/ Dongho materializes or not, I just find it so odd that people are freaking out over a 19 year old.

    FriendFudori October 30, 2019 1:36 am

Actually in Japan, you're a legal adult by the age of 13, but you go to school until around the age of 19. So yeah I agree with you, people need to stop freaking out since the comic said earlier that it's only a couple weeks until he turns 20.

The 13 yo thing is just so young teens can sleep with other young teens without getting in trouble, it’s not the legal adult age and it doesn’t mean adults can sleep with 13 year olds, there are separate laws about that, I’m pretty sure it’s also 18+

The ex is actually a decent human being?!
I think this is a first. Usually these debt plots have the ex being a jerk that leaves their partner destitute knowingly.
Hopefully ex finds his own happy ending

I just received the official English book as the chapters were released here :) the manga volume finishes in chapter 94.
I enjoy watching Natsume, Natori & Matoba together. Matoba is such an a-hole, but I like seeing his hidden depths.
