I didn't think the story was that bad, it had some promise with the supernatural genderbending which I think is a lot more compelling compared to other stories which just try to explain it away using pseudoscience.
The scene of Nanaki jumping into the spring in Kyoto was really interesting, the way he momentarily split into both male & female but I have to say I was disappointed he chose to stay as a woman. I'm very sure from all the clues left by the author that Souma would have loved him just as much if he reverted back to his original body.
I think the author could have explained a bit more of Sandalwood's story and how she became a woman, how her relationship with Kunikazu came to be and their history with Kyoto.
Also that last chapter came out of left field. A hotel room somehow ended up underwater and then there was a sudden 4-year time jump? Why? What was Souma's reasoning for agreeing to marry another woman and move to America? It makes zero sense to me lol.
I could also just be the only person overthinking about the plot of a hentai manga.

For everyone getting frustrated at the lack of Yaoi, I'm 99% sure it's gonna get there eventually. After all, it's the only possible solution for Shion to be able to stay male without abstaining from sex.
Unfortunately our two dearest main characters don't seem to be the brightest and right now don't have the brain power to think of this solution yet lol.

I don't understand a word from ch. 717. This ending seems so rushed, I wanted to see more of them after they got together.
Also I really want to know about this "We've been doing it a lot" comment that Hayato just alluded to lol. There is so much the author could do with Nakano's powers and their intimacy, feels like a wasted opportunity.

Translation from someone else
Nakano-san: You... You were thinking of something lewd, weren't you.
Toda-kun: What...?
Nakano-san: ...It's written all over your face!!!
Toda-kun's thoughts: What...? Seriously...?
Toda-kun: ...No, I wasn't...
Toda-kun's thoughts: Despite that, doesn't Nakano-san seem kinda happy...?
Nakano-san: Nrgh, you look like you're lying...!!!
Toda-kun: Wait... You're not looking at my face though.
Nakano-san: Argh!

It is now 6:52am, I read all of this in one sitting and I think this is probably the first series with so many couples where I truly like ALL the couples. I can't wait for more, and I miss reading about Hitomi x Itokawa
Also, I think the author is really smart with how she's interlinked all the characters, because now it makes me want to reread all of it again to see the hints of Hitomi's past with Kiriya & Zaizen, even with Youmei (since they went to the same school).

May I suggest another of sensei's work - "Ze", like Kachou Fuugetsu, it's a multiple couple story in one setting, and it's pretty damn amazing! And it's completed too (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Am I the only one who didn't think what the ex said was even remotely bad? He gave him a vague compliment of "he is good at everything" and then switched the topic because it's gross to talk about somebody else in bed behind their back???
Or maybe there's more coming in the next chapter? But based on this chapter I don't see what the big deal is.
(I still don't want the ex ruining my ship but I at least want a legitimate reason not to like him lol)
Maybe the slight hesitance and The word of choice made him thought otherwise? His ex sounds like a good person though, I wonder what made them broke up
