This scene really made me wanna cry. I mean the entire scene really, with Ryou deciding to just go drown while telling Yuuichi that he's going somewhere far away. And Yuuichi's trying to convey to him how much he cares about him. I didn't expect Yuuichi to be standing on the beach watching Ryou. That just added a whole new level of desperation, like he knows Ryou is trying to kill himself and his conveying of his feelings is also him trying to talk Ryou out of suicide. I'm so glad Ryou got the happiness he wanted, and deserved. Yuuichi is really the best for recognizing Ryou's true feelings and being able to be there for him.
(Also noticed how this scene http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hinadori_wa_shiokaze_ni_madoromu/uu/hinadori_wa_shiokaze_ni_madoromu-chapter-7/52/ is also the first scene in the manga, showing that the ending is just the continuation of that scene. Excellent use of "book ends.")

lol I get why the idol industry thought the siblings would be too similar, but seeing how Kurokawa turned out now after having his dreams crushed, I think if he debuted with his own bro in their own sibling unit, it'd be kinda cute. Like his older brother would be the sweet angel type or something, and he's the sadistic devil. Siblings are super cute, the industry should have totally taken advantage of that. Or Maybe Kurokawa should have tried to enter a different field in the entertainment industry, though I guess he wanted to be an idol specifically. I thought Chiharu knew sensei and his dad were together? Like he flat out tells his dad to kiss him. Then smiles happily at sensei when Chiharu's dad asks him to be part of their family. Then, he's technically looking up at his dad when sensei gives him a kiss at the end of chapter 2. And come the next chapter, we find out he doesn't know? I mean, I guess I can excuse him for not understanding because he was a child. Still though. Not gonna lie, I liked his devilish personality, but I don't like the motivations behind it.
I mean yeah, he was a kid of like 5 or 6? There's no way he'd think that telling them to kiss would result in them being in a relationship. Later in that chapter he even thought his dad was gonna get remarried.
True. And maybe since he was young, he was probably very innocent and didn't completely get the implication of a kiss between two adults.
But the thing is he was basically his mom. Like if you were raised by a motherly figure and a fatherly figure you put 2 and 2 together yaknow? Plus he'd learn at some point they're together or ask questions like wtf
Yeah I did not like Orito. I mean. I'm glad he felt bad about throwing out the charm, and in the end he intended to give it back. But why did he throw it out in the first place? It's not a simple bag, you can tell it's a charm. And then when he finally DOES give it back, the "My dad died right after" line just broke my heart. Like, Ryuya intended to give this charm to his dad at the hospital. He couldn't because he lost it, and then Orito threw it away. And right after, his father dies. Ryuya probably spent the rest of his life regretting losing the charm, maybe even thinking his dad died because of this. And Orito finally gives it back to him years later, after harassing him under the guise of love? Like no man, screw you, you should have given it back earlier. Like as soon as you met him again years later.
I just came to check out what this manga was, noticed it said I was "now reading" this and I'm like "I am!????" last update 2016, figures lol
