i dont know how to explain it but i dont think i'll ever move on from her and emiliano, even if she does. like that line about how carels never made a 'wrong' decision, we all know he loved ines, but that love wasnt strong enough for him to choose her. this life is probably different and seeing them together is wow, but emiliano, thats something else.

For the "This is who you really are" line ? Basically he's saying that Shin is finally showing his true colors. If you remember last few chapters Shin was judging Jake for the choices he made and how he didn't want to pick up a gun. But hes changing his mind now (⊙…⊙ )

Can you explain what's going on with Rolfe? Did she try to betray Jake? What are they doing now? The plot has me confused. Maybe all the waiting for each chapter makes me forget details.
Do you mean the meeting Rolfe had with that one guy? If so she was setting up Jake to be the fall guy. She was going to get rid of him at some point during the last mission because she knows she can't control him but it didn't go as planned since Shin was there. But Rolfe is currently teamed up with Jake and Shin to save her own ass and to take down her own organization at this point in the story

It's reality. We all have experiences like that, people we lose touch with but have been very vital to how we turned out. And I really think we'll be seeing more of Rik in the current timeline (I hope).
