i just watched the anime for this so obviously i had to reread this, only to be reminded how much i dislike the miya guy. as a character hes very entertaining, but as the ml, its just no. the way he professes his love to her and then goes around sleeping with every other girl, its just so no. and i see the chemistry between them and how much he loves her, but i just dont support it, it really doesnt look like a long term thing, and even if it is, its just no.
He was raised in a yakuza household where infidelity is almost considered normal. What did you expect?
For his age and environment, he is smart enough to not succumb to drugs, violence or getting STDs.
And yoshino is no saint either. She is using him for protection and trying to avoid feud among the groups. Also she's dating him because in this way he's easier to handle.
