Kay around ch 25 you get background on the desert dungeon and I gotta say Im impressed. I thought it was going to be a generic solo leveling knockoff with skeletons of increasing strength, but now I can appreciate the individual story and respect it as it's own work.
I hope his limited number of skeleton servants stays fixed and its their individual ability that grows. This limit is clearly defined and I feel like help characterize the story. It feels wrong to change that until maybe last minute or something.
Also anyone else finds it super suspcious that he and the s rank necromancer awakened around the same time? I feel like the reason hes so weak is that the other is stealing his power. Personally i like the idea as it establishes a reason for a future conflict and a storyline
Normally I hate harems, but I really love the over the top reactions from this guy and always find milf hunters to be kinda funny in their pursuit of kink.
Harems, are ok, but only if you know the story will end in harem route, when you read romance with harem, you will get one dude and multiple girls who are fighting over him and you have no clue who he will end up with, that is a shitty harem, I hate it so fking much it's insane, but stories like this? The whole point is that everyone basically wins, and you don't have to scratch you head while thinking who is endgame, while it's not anything to write home about, it's fun read for sure.
Also if the other harem members didn't get forgotten. Like some harem mangas have so many women in MC's harem that some of them get forgotten. Also if the MC deserve to get the harem, I hate it that MC is a jerk or a wimpy baby or even a average looking guy like the rest of us and somehow get the girls
Truthfully thats the biggest reason i hate harems. I dont mind polygamous relationships, but the thing is relationships take ALOT of effort. Obviously since its a manga we wouldn't see the nuances, but that doesn't mean it has to completely dismiss it like how a shitty fix it fanfic overlooks how characters will have a different resonse due to a changing circumstance (or like some of the worst transmigation/regression type stories).
And yeah, one massive critic I have about harems is that the women are so indistinct that you can replace them with a fucking sex doll and it wouldn't change their role in any significant way.
Ill give it a higher rating than like 90% of the erogame isekais. Im not against the adult content, but it feels like the direction of those stories is too muddled. I like how this protagonist has genuine insecurities and basically body dysmorphia. It gives him purpose and something to aspire to

Kay usually i dont feel bad for the antagonist, especially if they're obtuse about the pain they cause, but I really pity persen. He should have more awareness and if he did care he would understand how he has been hurting her, but at the end he was extremely selfish. Thing is I kinda understand if he's been abused for so long by his father (the true villain) he clings to the one who brings him comfort.
I just feel bad for him, like I hope he can actually move on and hopefully rebuild his friendship.
Same and Fl is annoying me . Instead of explaining to persen whats bothering her and trying to rebuild their friendship she straight went to “ hate you” like her whole approach was just wrong man and she’s also stupid why would you go around saying u got a gold mine. the whole plot is like fl cant do shit on her own I hate when they make theFl need the Ml to defend herself or get shit done.
While i sometimes feel like revenge can consume a protagonist too much, I do like it on occasion. Plus its not really revenge as much as removal of actively hostile elements
I like that the female friend DID have the best of intentions. I mean she went around doing it the wrong way by being agressive rather than understanding, but she did care. And yet it doesn't matter when her actions just hurt her friend. 'The path to hell is paved with good intentions' sort of thing.
What I really like is how no matter what she does he will view her as an enemy who discarded a 'useless' friend and whp tried to kill him. Again not quite true but it would be hard to change that narrative for him.
Im not too against her as a vharacter, but I really wish we keep this broken relationship because it reflects how she had hurt him before and because I believe she would forever seeve as a reminder of pain and betrayl for our MC, even if he realizes the truth those feelings will stay.
Okay why protect the half sister. I get she is innocent of her mother's infidelity but her actions are not excused. Much nearly causing permanent harm repeatedly. Or better yet why give her so much authority over her servants? Im sure the father/brother can have her isolated where she can't hurt people or give authority to the likes of her tutor to punish them.
This is a really interesting story and feels like a nice twist to the whole 'framed and betrayed by a stupid guy and villainized by morons who deserve to burn after sacraficing myself for them'. I just want to see the consequences for their actions!

I always hated a FL who feels utter despair with her situation and extreme abuse and just go along with it. I get how some people are resigned to their circumstances, but they are usually depicted as 'strong' or 'resistant' and the like, yet they do nothing?! Thats why I have extreme respect for this FL who killed her abuser and commited arson. She realized the consequences of her actions were worth a desperate grasp at freedom and retaliation against trash. She had nothing left to lose (like a hostage) so her doing that is awesome. Im also happy that she isn't a psycho and is kinda traumatized by her actions. Shows she has strength to commit to tough decisions while also being very human and panic
