Normally the second ML is really compelling and makes me want to tear out the FL's heart for for not choosing them, but this time I'm completely satisfied with Cabel. Don't get me wrong the prince is mighty fine as well, but he just seems to fake at the moment. Cabel is much more genuine with his affections and I can feel the love from his actions. Maybe the prince will get development, but as of now I can't imagine him loving the FL.
As a side note I'm pretty sure every reincarnation/isekai is in fact the most beloved children of the gods. I mean they gave them second chance didn't they? It makes sense for Renee to have such divine power if the gods gave her another life.

This story has awesome misinterpretation moments. Our MC knows how to live while everyone else believes she will die. They interpret her actions as her being strong and resolute. I adore this especially seeing how the emperor was a shit father and now suffers remorse. I hope our MC doesn't forgive him (not like she could, she didn't suffer) and just says they will never be daughter and father, but only emperor and princess to each other.
Equally I hope the novel couple suffers. Especially that self centered FL. What a bitch, not caring about how everyone else literally suffers. I especially hope the FL cheats on the ML so he suffers and he kills her. A perfect ending to their romance.
Okay, so you have EVIDENCE that your mother killed the crown prince, and is all around psycho. She hates the duke's family, and your fiance from said family recently had a monster target her and her alone. What a stupid prince. Empress or not she killed royalty and must be punished. Not to mention if she killed royalty what's to stop her from killing any other noble? How can the prince not make this connection? How can no one realize the queen needs to die?
Also the translation has become really sloppy around ch 110. What happened?

I love a good vengeance story. It's so satisfying to watch all those jerks suffer for their crimes. I kinda wished we extended their suffering.

Idk about y'all, but I greatly dislike the MC. I can respect wanting to live in financial security, but her life sucks. What sort of hobbies does she have? What sort of friends (other than Paul and the governor) does she meet repeatedly? doing nothing just sounds so stupid.
That bit about sending the poor to war/the frontier horrified me. That wasn't helping the population. That was culling it.
What HAS she contributed to the political scene (other than killing the poor)? She's interested in expanding education, very admirable, but why? She herself admits to wanting to avoid any responsibilities or work. So she contradicts herself. It would be far better if she implements what systems she knows will be helpful or bits of knowledge like hygiene or diet or whatever since the beginning if she was going to enter politics.
And the romance sucks. Seriously it's like the emperor forced himself to love her to boost his image or approval. I mean it was after hearing others gossip that he changed his attitude towards her. He should get to genuinely interact with her if he were to fall in love. Instead it's so superficial.
I gather that the supposed villain Ignis is actually quite kind, it's just he makes the tough choices and can easily be labelled a villain.
But Letio is just so adorable! His nativity complements our MC's rather serious disposition. Curse second male lead syndrom!

Why? Ignis already loses everything to letio if it plays out like the novel Selena read. He loses his chance to inherit the throne and his fiance Ilea. You gotta give the poor guy something...(〜￣△￣)〜
Plus he seems like a pretty decent guy so far.
Yeah. Ignis seems to care about the state of the country and fairness evident with how angered he was by nobles paying to escape the military. Already a good leader.
But this won't be the novel. Our MC has already changed so much. I'd be happy if Ignis gets the crown. I do like him as the ML, and the dynamic of superior and subordinate they got going on is good, but Letio also balances out great with the MC and I can see a backstory where she saved/inspired him as children and she forgot but he didn't. The subtext shows he has a reason for interacting with Celesitine which has great potential for romance that I would like to see play out.
The 'change ML' is kinda a joke. I mean both guys are great, but we all know shes staying with Ignis. I just think a Letio romance would be great to see aswell
I won't lie I do like to read Rape manga. Passion and rough sex can be a very appealing concept. But that's just a fantasy.
But this is disgusting. That asshole Sora tortured Taiyou. I mean he's a delinquent but why? It could be a cry for help and as far as delinquents go it's not like he rapes people or anything overtly violent. Rape as a punishment for this is ridiculous.
I especially hate how Taiyou became broken. It was so tragic to watch.
There's this one webtoon, Hogu Hagyeongsu, where the uke was also horrifically treated by the seme but ultimately did not choose the seme and in fact acted against him. That was such an empowering and sad story seeing his struggle and nearly forgive the shitty seme of his crime before hw realized he doesn't deserve it.
Now I hope this happens here, Sora realizes his horrific crime and Taiyou leaving him for that nice kid.

Afterall once someone snaps it won't matter how different their positions will be. Death is the great equalizer, and no one is above it. A rich man is just as likely to die fro a stab wound in the face as a poor man would.
