When treating someone innocent deliberately like shit, it seems it's a-ok to most readers if they don't get retribution but when not deliberately treating someone like sh!t retribution is a must for most people? In both situations everyone should think retribution is at the very LEAST a must.
And, first of all, nope this doesn't change my mind about Choi Jiho peeps. The problem I had with him still remains. Yoo-Sung proved that trust is established between two parties by one party sacrificing for others not one party being forced by others to give up for the second party. That's what the siblings themselves implied when they said Yoo Sung saved them when he was younger. Secondly, the good thing about Jiho is that he didn't try to justify his actions, nothing more nothing less.

After reading this section I'm reminded of Skip Beat when people got what they wished for but were shocked (*shocked*, I tell you) to discover that putting two people together before they were ready causes more problems in a relationship and doesn't equate to a magical happy fairy tale ending after all! So the story became boring not only for those demanding the outcome they got but also for those who were hoping for something that was FINALLY different but just got more of the same cliched dregs. Alicia's transmigrated into a freaking novel! She would be 's*****' if she expected the plot to change that easily. Even the male lead hasn't changed one iota except for WHO he's obsessed with. Plus, this unhealthy obsession with romance as if it's the only aspect of a story that matters is rather tiresome. Ignoring everything else in favor of romance would lead Alicia to accepting Ares proposal but also make for a very messy storyline. Sad that more people want that than a decent story. Also misunderstandings are human and natural. Can we have at least ONE story where we don't have attitudes only pretending to take the mature position and, instead, have discussions that acknowledge that growth and development of characters is one of the essentials for good storytelling?
If romance is all readers are looking for in mangas like this one, and Skip beat, then they shouldn't read them in the first place. Yes, these mangas fall in the genre of Romance, but development is the core of every story and needs it to proceed further with the plotline. And in Skip beat or Living as the tyrant's older sister, romance would just come in the way of the character's essential development, and therefore I think, it's unnecessary at this point. And I haven't read so many chapters with painful consistency to get a half-assed story + half-assed romance. Sorry, but I'd like the better package even if I have to wait for an eternity.

Just like yours) of what they think the actions of the main characters constitute. I want to talk about the people who try to suppress them because 'only uncritical opinions are ever allowed' or something. It's a public forum not a circle-jerk.
They also have the gall to read the comments that are critical of the MCs' relationship then complain that those commenters should just stop reading if they don't like a part of the story. So, basically, commenter A: makes a post about dubious consent in a story. Gets flamed for reading when they clearly don't like One Specific Thing about a story; Commenter B: makes a post about negative opinions in the comment section. Even if told by someone else to just stop reading if they don't like what the other comments have to say, wouldn't see the irony.
Another thing that makes me 'laugh' is how the ones who attack the more critical comments don't seem to realize that they're insulting the author. They imply that the story is about nothing more than the two main characters. Really? That's just like saying I should ignore my friend just because I don't like how they get angry so quickly all the time. And saying that's all there is to my friend. Which is insulting.
As for those points being made about Ren's current age and pedophilia in Japan, like someone else implied setting thirteen years old as the age of consent is just as arbitrary (as setting it at any other age before 25). On top of that that relationship between Hari and Ren began LONG before their current age.
The fact that this is an illegal site has no bearing either. In fact, if anything, it's more helpful to the other commenters not you. Why?
