I don't like her, i do wish for her happiness, but I wish for her to live with that regret for her whole life, to remember this time she betrayed her best friend and cause her deep pain

even medea prioritized her own ambitions over her friendship with psyche, they both had something they wanted they weren't willing to give up to someone else, even if it was a friend. so not really blaming either of them.

Don't get it wrong, the crown prince chose her, he set up that competition to choose her, a poor traumatised girl he had groomed to exploit and kill, a girl who literally lived in a basement almost all her life do you expect her to know how the world works? To know about politics and treachery? She was sorry for Medea but she knew Medea didn't love the crown prince so while she understood her anger at not becoming empress, she couldn't understand why she would be blamed for love, and yet she kept trying to make amends no matter what shit Medea did to her.
Don't get me wrong, Medea is my favourite fucking character, but the story starts with her going blind with rage, not thinking clearly, searching for anyone to blame in her grief and anger. That's the catalyst for the beginning of the story, the both of them gaining clarity as they're put in each other's shoes literally, both of them realising who is the real villain. That's precisely why this story is fuckin amazing.
This kind of story makes me so happy and sad at the same time! Such a bittersweet feeling
It also makes me feel like I messed up my university days lmaoo like I did not do 4 years at the same place and i did not find my TRUE LOVE ARGH
