From what I gathered Sid is upsettie because he believes that Cain is weak and he only follows strong people. Cain is not the same as before, when he made Sid, so in Sid's eyes Cain is unworthy.
I'm actually betting that Sid is doing it for Cain albeit in an extreme and risky way. It's one way of defeating Satan once and for all(?) and secure Cain as the ruler of the demon world.
