Erwin X Levi is my personal favorite.
As aggressive as the tone of your comment, I have to agree on many of your points. It's such a shame, but as cool as the story is, I have the opinion of it heading downhill, and I mean the cannon story. I'll read it regardless, but merely with less expectations.
I also hold the opinion that the main case is oddly less developed character wise than the side characters who are adults. Sure character development and all that, but the original Scout Unit was just so cool but the author shoved them out of the way for the angsty teenagers.

I read an interview with the author and he said he did some research before writing Snk. Well, it shows. Three teenagers, one a woman, that reminds me of Harry Potter or Naruto. Armin is the male Hermione. The teens cannot die, I mean Connnie and Sasha are still alive (how?). I remember in the latest chapters, 104th squad allunni still healthy and fine, but a lot of veterans and good soldiers died? I think the author is sensitive about his work, the art style is bad and the storytelling ... hm ... many undeveloped characters with so much potential. It's a great manga and I'm obsessed with it, but it's not like FMA, where the quality of art and storytelling remains the same throughout the whole series. Good thing that Levi is a fan favorite, so we got to know a lot about him, while Hajime could easily kill off Erwin, because poeple hated him. That must be the reason Erwin x Levi are not the most popular ship. I mean, those two are good together, there is a strong bond between them, it started out Levi hated Erwin ... that's normally the best shipping material ... When you like Erwin x Levi I hope you know h-eichi/Hitomi djs. They are GREAT.

Can't agree with you on the whole not approving of the Levi and Eren ship BUT! Yeah I totally get why you don't like Eren as the main character ^o^ HE SUCKS! And Mikasa being overprotective of Eren s really stupid tbh like we get it! JUST CONFESS ALREADY IF YOU LIKE HIM THAT MUCH.

They were my favorite ship because they're like the only mature pair and actually cause story development, by action too, not just dumb luck. I don't hate Eren per say, but he's such a sore loser.

Uhh this is a yaoi and horror buddy. Its not really a love story if you see it in a different light cause of the horror tag. Also this isn't as 'perverted' as other yaois. xD

I think it's that give and pull that keeps us on our toes, the "love story" is a nice release from all of the tension from all the messed up shit; and just makes sure we're not straight up hating sangwoo, which whilst fun is probably a better position for the author to have us in - later on if she wants to make us hate him it's easier to do that then do the reverse (make us like him again)
I think she's also trying to give him dimesion
But also yeah most of us are here ONLY for the BL so she's got to keep that in as well otherwise no reads - i wouldn't call it erotic - far from it, it incited relief from me cause now i know he's

I feel nothing for the characters and find it stunning that people are liking them. How? They are pitful and well, one is murderer. At the other hand I think the story is very erotic. I'm not lying if I say it's making me wet. But I see no love, no romance, nothing. It's very perverted and sick. That I'm reacting to such sick things, well, that's another story. I'm shocked that so many people are seeing there a love story .. I'm reading it for the good plot, the horror and I'm a bit confused because it's able to arouse me ...

Arouse? yeah no im not gettting that vibe, less im into the love story and more just cause the alternative is so messed up it's nice being able to not have to watch a scene where he's potentially getting his neck skinned or whatever - im not particularly fond of any of the characters either, but when you paint that kind of scene you end up rooting for him somehow regardless of how pathetic they come across as

I feel the fact that this twisted relationship arouses many is the brilliance of this Manwha and it's author. No wonder it has the psychological tag. It's almost as if this Manwha's purpose is to illict an icky feeling towards the relationship and yet at the same time we can't stop reading further.


For me I find it amusing how confused this Manwha has left me, yet I want more of it.

Like... There's tons of stories mixing horror and erotica together? You're talking like stories can only have one theme.
Plus being sexual with someone leave you vulnerable or create some special connection. Having that be with someone who hurt you or can kill you is exactly why this has such an unsettling feeling. If it was only violence and horror in there, a whole aspect of this story would be lost.
Frankly it's like you're drinking a cocktail and you don't like one of the ingredient so you don't like the cocktail. But someo people will like it because of the result of the two and if it wasn't mixed, then it'd be a totally different flavor thing.
Just read pure horror or pure erotica if you don't like the mix...

I read a lot of stories in my life and I like psychologigal themes. I'm just saying it's too much and I would have liked it more without the love story. Art, storytelling is brilliant. Erotica is okay but in such a setting? He is torturing him, mutilated him (don't think his feet will ever heal completely), I could go on and on ... I just don't see why the author is making it so erotic. For example how he draws the body of the skinny one ... I'm sure not the only one who is aware of this. The work is pretty "sexy". Here I would say is less more. But who cares. Other people are liking it so ...
