If you guys want a supernatural and yakuza crossover and comedy on top of that, this one's for you!

I almost skipped this one because it has supernatural in it (I read them but not really my type) but it really got my interest when I saw the yakuza tag on it. Like, there are not a lot of bl stories with yakuza coupled with supernatural genre.

At first I thought it was just all fun and thought it was just a light read that I didn't mind it being lame, but then I found it has its own charms, like the Uke was clearly a coward but being scared doesn't stop him from speaking whatever he thinks and it's really funny when he does that, like the Seme could come off as a red flag with him always threatening to kill the Uke but that was just his way of showing how much he loves him.
These things are cute! Super cute and I love it!!!

I also love that they're a comedic couple and that they are really loyal to each other.

The character designs are awesome, and I love their personality more. The art is great. And I mean, REAL great! I also enjoyed their smut and sex scenes which I thought wouldn't be good since they had a rough start, with both of them being forced to touch each other and all, but the more they kept doing it, the more the art progressed.

Although we can't really say this is a masterpiece as a story since there are not a lot of drama and the author didn't get into much detail with both of their backgrounds, It's a masterpiece in itself and I really enjoyed reading this.

Can't remember how many times I laughed out loud at how funny and cute the couple is, both individually and together.

I didn't expect the story to turn out this well considering its style and comedic scenes at first. I really thought this was all just sex and fun by a comedic couple but the way they fell for each other, though quick, I still loved it!

Too bad they ended just like that. I expected them to have kids so that my heart will be filled with fluffy and loveable things so I was disappointed at the end. Nevertheless, it was a love story well written.

It's reeeeaaalllyyy bad. The translations almost gave me a stroke. The story is off. And the decisions done by the MC is so predictable it's boring asf.

Every time I watch the anime and read the manga I get challenged for the amount of knowledge I have for baseball that I got from watching "Majors" from years before.

The story is hilarious and it's a shame that it's still short on chapters. Thus, another sports anime/manga that I'm looking forward to.

Noooooo. This is bad. Really bad. The art is just alright but the story ugh. Don't you think it progresses too fast? I had high hopes for this too.

I genuinely DID find this interesting at first. When I got too excited, like I always do, I try to skip to the recent chapters to get a preview on what will happen in the future of the story. In this case, I did and it immediately turned me off.

The ML is definitely an obsessive male lead even in the original story, HOWEVER, I thought for sure that he'll change because of the FL. Turns out he still became an obsessive and possessive punk. He locked the FL up, not as obvious, but he banned her from going out and made sure she didn't see other people, even her servants.

The FL is also, still scared and guilty, of the fact that she stole someone else's body, that she breaks up with the ML for her anxiety. Like, grow up dude. Most FL's that have a backstory tend to become mentally stronger than other people so I thought she would be too. Disappointed, really. And to think, the original owner of her body died early, I mean, you stopped that from happening. Is it not your right to own the body that you tried so hard to take care of? It's also curious that she let her anxiety get the best of her that she didn't even consider the ML's feelings when she broke up with him just like that, they were engaged too.

The entire family clearly has psychological problems, from abusing his son for looking like his dad, to a depressed wife, to an extremely obsessive male lead, to a female lead who has anxiety. If I were in her shoes, I'd be busy running away. Clearly, what she did didn't help the ML and didn't help her.

I genuinely didn't like the story. The only thing I I think is okay here is the art. Especially with the characters. I personally love the other guy, the second male lead here, with the art and character and all.

The storyline is bad, the pacing itself is okay, but the main characters I personally don't like.

Like, what the hell are they doing sleeping around, rolling together on the cold hard ground when they should be focused more on running away and surviving?
Also, what is up with the FL? Why does she not wear any bra? That's the most concerning part for me. I get that it's josei but, come on. You made it more in line with drama, then at least make the character more comfortable while she tries to survive in a jungle.

I can't imagine wearing nothing on top and having these tribemen ogling me and touching my chest like it'd nothing, and then jumping from tree to tree with my boobs just flailing around. She didn't even FEEL uncomfortable too and that's the worst part.

Also, the reason why I lasted this long reading into the story is because I was curious about the thing they called their god here. And the more I read, the less I understand. The entity's not a god, it's easier to say that it's a demon instead. And I didn't like that the story reached over 90 chapters with more and more problems but with less and less solutions. Really, really, really hated that.

So I'm gonna go. I'll probably look back on this but won't finish it because of this feedback coz honestly, I tried. I really tried and it didn't work out for me.
Not saying that the story itself is trash because I appreciate the effort of the author and artist. Just that this doesn't appeal to me as with other people.

Frosche79 created a topic of Kidnapped Bride

I really had high hopes for this. Can't believe that the author is making us readers go through a hell of a ride and a lot don't make sense for me, moreover, the translations suck.
I'mma leave now. Don't wanna waste another moment to read this buh bye.

Sorry didn't really like it. The story is just a tad bit bad. It's like the author made it just to play around because it's like it's made by a teenager.
Gave it a chance but it was a waste of time.
Buh bye

Trash. Plain trash.

The art sucks, the characters suck, a lot of things don't make sense, like why disrespect the MC when she's legally an imperial princess? The guards and maids also kept calling her a peasant and a commoner right in her face. They're obviously mistreating her and yet the noble man who helped her in the first few chapters had no idea she was being treated this way.

Like, make it make sense!

The normal behavior would be to respect the princess because she's their superior. Also, there doesn't seem to be any rumours that her adoptive family didn't like her so what's with the rude remarks?

Didn't make sense.
Don't like it and it's trashy even as I read further. So done.

Got bored again. The story's too long and there are too many chapters. I skipped chapters to the 90th one and it was just then that the ML found out the FL had a child but it will be even later for him to find out the child's his.

I got lazy just looking at the chapters. I mean, how on earth did they spend over 80 chapters without giving out the existence of the FL's child?

Certainly, it's too boring of a fight without even a little development in their love story. Bye bye then.

Kinda lame for me. Thought it was promising at first and I figured that the Michael guy was just some extra character in the story. Turns out he was the ML and that turned me off because the moment I saw him I already knew he was sly, dirty, selfish, and greedy.

I'mma leave now. I don't wanna involve myself in an angst story that's not to my tastes.

Frosche79 created a topic of Lotto princess

To be honest, it's a good read. The art is excellent and the characters are adorable. The only thing I dislike is that there are a lot of confusing things as the story progressed.

Like, did the author forget or something?
Like, it was mentioned that the MC was 5 years old when her uncle picked her up, but 5 years later she just turned 8 years old. I mean, what???? Did the author forget to count or something? 5+5 equals 10, genius.

Also, I thought the MC's mother (former empress) supposedly died BEFORE her father (the former emperor) died. But they mentioned that the one who forced her mother to fight in the war, causing her death, was the emperor (the current emperor)----so that means her father died first??? Before her mom???? Like, huh????? Otherwise, her father, which was the emperor at that time, was the one who sent his wife to die.
It's confusing, REALLY!

In addition to that, I thought the Prophet and her Knight were known to be a pair, not a trio. The head mage was also included?! Like what????

I'm also curious, how come in her past life and this life, she never mentioned she had a cousin from her evil uncle emperor? So the uncle did have a child, how come the MC got the throne then?? Huh?????

I'm completely lost now. If there's anything worse than a bad art and poorly made characters, it's the confusing storyline.

Now that I think about it, this doesn't deserve 5 stars for me. They just had to be wrong with the important details and hurt my head.

Frosche79 created a topic of Finding Camellia

I actually like the story, the plot, and the art. Oh how beautiful, the art.

However, I don't really like the characters. This is probably the first one for me, where I appreciate everything except for the characters. My first impression on them made me feel suspicious of everyone, I also hated the Male Lead. Like, I genuinely hated him, not much character development until their growth spurt. This is the same for the FL too. I mean, even when she got out of the house, she never gained the courage to at least be more confident and free. She keeps bowing in a way that servants bow when by etiquette, a gentleman's bow is more elegant and respectable so I thought she would use that, given that she was a male then. This was one of the reasons why, even when no one knew she's a bastard child at the time, people kept stepping on her. She lacks confidence and shows it to people, giving them the satisfaction to rule over her.

What's more, what the heck is wrong with the people around her. They keep seeing her as an object or just a pretty face, even her father deceived me into thinking he cared for her only to sell her to the enemy kingdom's crown prince. Her stepmother is also crazy, like, I really thought she was at least rational, like she's not someone who would kill someone out of spite, but NO. She kept abusing the FL and then attempted to kill her in the end.

To be honest, I think this story is better off written as a psychological genre. The characters were made that way. Actually, now that I think about it, I won't give this full points. It's too much drama and pity parties for the MC when she had a lot of chances to prove herself and fight back.

Well, I suppose it was written that way. I guess I'm just too used to reading stories where the MC gets revenge and all so this genre didn't really sync in with me.

Meh

The story's got a lot of holes and the art on the characters are too weird that it got to the point where I'm puzzled since it stated that she's still 8 or 12 but she looks 14. Seriously even her brain functions like a kid when she was a working person for 8 years before she transmigrated.
Didn't like it so I'mma drop this.

Frosche79 created a topic of Monster Duke's Daughter
Why

Why is this so... Childish. I mean, it lacks a lot of qualities. The art is good but the story and the characters' personalities are questionable.
Dropped it at the first few chapters because I can't keep up with how it's made. I suppose I would read this if I was in my teens with little experience in reading stories but this is too below my level to read. Not to offend the creator, it's just that I've read too much and know too much to think that this story is extraordinary. The translations are off too so that might be another reason.
Sorry but I'mma drop this.

The story is cute, simple, and plain and the translations in the latest chapters gave me a stroke. However, despite how plain and simple it is (it's also questionable regarding the etiquettes of the nobles like the seating arrangement, why was the MC's place at the table higher than the duke's daughter?), I just can't stop reading.
I suppose I needed something like this every once in a while. I also love how they created Loretta. The art is very good too all the possible male leads look dashing and, dare I say, fits my tastes.
In any case it's such a simple family-centered story. Definitely recommend you read it if you want a fluffy and loveable storyline. I just hope they update the translations to better ones otherwise I'll really have a stroke.

Seriously, Jaekyung. You won't feel it right away but the longer you go on without Kim Dan, the more you will feel like something is missing. Then when you get confused, you coincidentally meet him again, which will make you feel more confused.
Guys like this have no idea what they have until they'll lose it.

Frosche79 created a topic of Kill the Villainess

I stopped several times while reading this book because it was still ongoing at the time and I only finished it just now because I just found out that it's already completed through social media. Love how she ended up with the right man, unlike other FLs who were in the same situation but still chose the idiot as the ML. I just wish I got more suffering from the prince, call me despicable but that trash deserves more than just living a hollow life without love for what he did to the FL. I'm petty that way. Crappy bastards really. The priest and the hero's punishments were good and the way the author ended the story without showing any mercy for the three pieces of trash is phe-no-menal.

The ending is fair, didn't really digress too much on the future lives of the couple, even the other characters but it's fair that way. Part of me wants more side stories to come where it shows the love story of the two and then living their lives together, but a bigger part of me thinks that the way that this story started, it should be ended in the same way. Painful, but it's perfect this way.
Bet I'mma re-read this story again in the future but I know I'm still going to love it the same way, maybe even more.

Frosche79 created a topic of Jinx

I mean really, Kim Dan. You should've seen this coming. That guy doesn't deserve you and he won't understand everything you're doing for him.

If I'm going to be honest, I bet Jaekyung will keep treating him like crap and Kim Dan's self-esteem will keep dropping until something big and terrible happens to wake him wake up to reality. His granny's death perhaps. Then he'll fall into depression and this'll probably be his starting point where he'll see things differently and hopefully leave that son of a b*tch behind.
The hell, can't even appreciate a person's effort.
