After reading the spoilers I feel so bad for Cosette and would have 100% supported her revenge arc if it meant not harming inoccent people. The real villains are the grandfather and the dad I hope they get the terrible ending they deserve.
Honestly my prop with her is that the demon that has possessed her doesnt care for the revenge that Cossetes mum summoned her in the first place to do in name of her suffering and dead daughter. Therefore that thing aint even Cossette. But if it was her soul there too I seriously would understand her revenge against them just like with Anitta from Prince is trash(sorry it has many titles). They are good villains.

According to the novel Cosette isn't actually Cosette - the body is Cosette, the daughter of the Duke and his first wife, but the soul is actually of a demon, similar to the blonde guy. When Cosette was born she died (or maybe was stillborn? I don't remember clearly) and the demon took her body and pretended to be her, though I don't remember if it was the Count or Cosette's mother that made the deal. That is the "Cosette" we see in the series. We've already seen that it was true Keira's grandfather made a deal to have the first wife killed, and yes, technically if it weren't for him Cosette would have been the first daughter and the princess of the dukedom instead of Keira. "Cosette" doesn't give a damn but that was the revenge that was agreed upon per contract I believe, therefore a contractual agreement to get revenge on the dukedom though I don't remember if the entire empire was included. I feel guilty for hating Cossete. I really regret it, and it seems Cossete needs this revenge, hufft.
But after knowing the truth I will stop continuing this story... Because it seems there is no justice for Cossete.

Yeah it's very unfortunate. If it weren't for the whole demon thing then I think Cosette's revenge would be justified - after all she did get her position stolen, her family stolen and her mother died. Her entire life was ruined because Keira's grandfather couldn't stand the idea of his daughter not giving birth to the girl that would have Beatrice's power, and even less her having the position of just being the 2nd wife. I can't say I personally feel guilty but realistically if it weren't for the demon and this story was read from Cosette's POV, Cosette would be totally justified in her revenge and we'd probably even be rooting for her.
But before that there is only one happiness that I can accept in this story that "that bastard is dead stabbed"

I love this bl so much and I was so excited to learn that it got an Official translation by webtoon but I am so disappointed with how bad the translation is compared to fan translations. They also changed the main couple's name from Yu Yang and Li Huan to Korean sounding names like Hyeonu and Jaewhan

I hated that that was how she saw FL, but I can see why she thought that. FL isn't pressured into marriage because the previous king doesn't want her to, meanwhile the princess is being pressured despite not wanting the marriage. The previous king and public are showering the FL with attention, even more after learning that the ML is in love with her. So to the princess, she's getting everything she wants and more without being in the scene long enough to work for it. She doesn't see how the FL is being caged and swing around.
Bruh the king is still not letting her meet her lover let alone get married to him . Not to mention how her every family member died and she had to raise that kid singlehandedly (at least that's what the princess knows) . Telling someone like that they're getting everything handed without any effort is wild.
Honestly I understand her, as narrow-minded as it may be. She had the benefits and responsibilities of being a princess since birth, then suddenly someone comes along getting the same benefits but little to no responsibilities.
Haven’t read novel spoilers but if I was in her place I would try my luck in seducing the crown prince. It hasn’t been long since he met saintess. He is the only other esper other than crown prince and holds a higher position than him so he wouldn’t be able to break the relationship even if he tried. In fact she could solve all her financial problems if she revealed she is a guide

I know the author has not shown much of the past but as an avid romance reader I think when someone loves someone else to the point of taking their life when that person dies, their love is bound to come out in one way or another even if they don’t want to.
