It also doesn't help that I'm not really a fan of this trope/couple dynamic of "I'm gonna put you in your place by fucking you in the ass you entitled narcissistic fuck" because sex is usually not the way to go about it the only way I can ingest this trope is when after/sometime during deed they're just soft, cuddly and loving to make up for the ruff sex because this is a romance and I'd like them to be nice to each other without the "you look nice today" "go die and then rot in hell" during or after the sex please. When the pair is'nt not vanilla then it's just ew. In comparison the main couple is angsty with miscommunication and some cool psychological shit that's like ooOoooooOooo not realistic but OoooooOoooooOoooo like is he going to succumb to his desires or is he going to tell our uke everything in a beautiful confession or will he just die mentally and only be stuck with his shameless wants. I also like how friendly they are and how the couple's main conflict is caused by not wanting to hurt each other I think that's really sweet and nice. I also prefer main couple's character designs.
I dont think the romance tag is for the side couple anyway, its super rapey and its completely romanticised. This author has good writing skills but i wish they could give us a psychological without the romanticisation of sexual violence. I mean is human psychology selective? No, they should present it evenly to deepen the plot as well as to not sexualise SA/rape. Its not like i can do anything about it but the dynamics between the main couple are just way better thought out, it feels like the author added a side couple on a whim or something.
I appreciate your take on this because the main couple is structured and explained in a way where care is inherent to their relationship the sex is not intended as way to take something from other or use each other just for sex they want to be closer but the repression in not only the seme's relationship with the uke but with friends, family and peers resulted in him developing this complex as an outlet like dr jekyll and mr hyde if one is so perfect it makes sense that the other will embody all the flaws of the other not to mention the seme is only hurting himself by not telling anyone his feelings like most people with mental illnesses they usually end up hurting themselves moreso than hurting others.

I don't know if it's something wrong with the adaptation from novel to comic but the height difference between FL and ML currently is extreme because she looks like a preschool and he looks like he's in the middle of high school. Her head heightwise is way below his hip height. She is shorter than dick height WTF. This feels illegal.

I'm not sure how well that arguement is gonna hold up because the story rarely references what meals she had and they never really actually explain the special species aside from a few lines of dialogue but also the visual imagery of her being below dick height and practically a third of his height/size is really off putting considering that she is going to get hitched to the guy. It's kind of like making the 1000 year old loli arguement like yeah in context this "isn't pedophilic" but the imagery kind of speaks for itself when my knee jerk reaction is "get the fuck away from that child" it doesn't help that she's really naive and ignorant adding more to her innocent childlike vibe while her love interest is a slimey little shit who thinks she deserves to eat and die cause she used to be poor and it shows.(but he's pretty so the story forgives him for being an asshole because that's shoujo )
Basically the story keeps not only implying that she's a child through her design but also through the way she acts and thinks( the way she thinks and acts is different from all the other characters because she's "pure") . The story is basically screaming, crying, whispering, muttering, speaking all to say this is an innocent little child.

But when would authors realise that they cant jump into a concept without making sure your MC is likable. No one and i mean NO ONE likes an incompetent, passive, weak-minded MC that needs others to mind her.
Also, I never understand why authors would choose the villainess for MCs to transmigrate and give them MOB personalities. She's A Villainess!! If you want to make her kind then fine! She can be arrogant, scheming, confident And Kind.
If MC transmigrates into a villainess, let her have some villainess qualities.
But if authors want to make MC act like a MOB, let her be a MOB!!
The gold standard for villainess transmigration are "death is the only ending for the villainess" and "kill the villainess" because the MCs can't rely on anything or anyone but themselves because everyone thinks less of them and the only other people who don't only like them for their position or money moreover the only people who actually care about them are dead or not influential enough to help which makes it a real survival story as she has to fend for herself in what is essentially a den wolves that want to see her humilated, suffering, dead, transform into an obedient, dependent woman or just want to use her as a plaything. I like it even more if she doesn't inherit the special skills of the body she possesses because that helplessness makes it even more endearing as she doesn't have any stable relationships, power or assests she is essentially doomed become powerless and isolated but her perserverance and drive to survive to the end are so worth the read because they know damn well all the men are fickle they don't even bother with romance that they themselves intiate because the only time they ever bother with romantic relations is when THEY want to.
Tldr I like it when villainess characters are helpless in almost every sense of the word but not stupid,naive or weak enough to just lie down and accept their demise.

The mother was fairly abusive but she changes when she travels back in time she does as the title suggest and enters a contract marriage with the emperor my main issue is instead of being physically abusive with her daughter she is now just neglectful of her daughter I'm pretty sure everyone around has spent more time around her then with her mother because she sometimes gets given an abhorrent amount of sugary food but her mother doesn't care that much also everytime her mother tells her something she always ignores it somewhat like talking with the emperor. IF YOU CARE SO MUCH MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN INSTEAD OF RELYING ON SOME RANDOM WORKERS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR DAUGHTER. The entire story you are constantly thinking "where the f@ck is her mom?" because I don't think a little girl should be eating a macaron tower the same height as herself.
One thing I don't like about the daughter's writing it never feels like how a child would act it feels more like someone's idealised version of a child would act like she rarely acts out, never throws a tantrum, knows a bad person when she feels it superstitiously so she doesn't need to heed stranger danger because she "knows" which ones are "bad" even though her alcoholic mother beat her consistently she was never considered a "bad" person because she was really pretty or whatever, she never plays any games( I started watching bluey) , most of the story adults like her because she's "innocent" but all children are like that so it doesn't really feel like its her thats special but that all children are wonderful little saints which makes so that the story can be about anyone not just her, she has no friends her age but is social enough to make friends with every adult, she just doesn't act like a child which makes it weird when the story gets it right from time to time.
Lighting and colors in the art is real good with a warm summer vibe for everything except for some same face syndrome, the little girl can have a big forehead/cranium in some panels. Also I think she's supposed to be closer in age with the younger guy characters like the prince but all the younger guy characters are like twice and sometimes 2.5x her height which makes it really jarring considering one of these younger guys is the ML. She looks like a toddler and they look pubescent. Look I'm not that picky with my historical manhwa I don't care that much about the clothing but good god at some point the immersion breaks when a child character unironically is wearing heart shaped SUNGLASSES when they don't even have cars and is treated like its accurate to the time period

I don't trust okaya's future writing because usually in bully stories the justification and backstory is absolute bullshit and/or makes no god damn sense for the ring leader of the bullies but on the rare off chance that he is well written this manga will go down in revenge story history.
