I've read a handful of them, both manga and webtoon. But it's usually beta turned omega or sometimes an hyper recessive omega that was assumed to be beta types of until they suddenly have their first heat trope. Alpha x alpha dynamics is already pretty rare so it'd be a bummer if they incorporate dynamics switching (Idk what's the right term for it )

He already did. Any chance at a normal life in a nice town or city was ruined by his actions in the first series. He wandered into this town to commit suicide. He’s literally teetering on the edge of his own life and all it’ll take is another traumatic experience to topple everything he just acquired, he’ll probably actually loose his life at that time.
I mean we still haven't reached the end of the road. So it's not out of the table that the ending won't be a tragedy. That's why I'm hoping that it will be.
