It’s funny to me that there are people saying “that’s financial abuse” honey no. This is Aeroc’s second life and he’s making EXACTLY the same financial mistakes that made him go bankrupt in his past life. So when Klopp was left in charge of his finances of course he was gonna make sure to budget the expenses. No Shizuma was straight before he met Minato but Shizuma said he ain’t into men in general(???) but he likes only Minato. So Minato is more insecure of women maybe than men because Shizuma is more likely to lean towards women.

Well a genuine smile doesn’t equate to the same level of being moved. It’s normal to smile. I just think his insecurities with men are less than women because Shizuma is more leaning towards women.

I don’t think he has to stop basic human interaction. I doubt Minato is that jealous of the boss, I think he was just insecure due to his trauma. Once they work on the trauma, I don’t think he will actually be jealous of the boss. If anyone to blame harshly, the boss, since he’s stepping over the boundaries.

This is not about stopping basic human interaction. Basic human interaction is normally talking to your boss when in working hours. Not allowing the boss to drop him off for dates or joke around with their underwear. They’re not friends. If a friendship has been established, that would be a different scenario. But this is just a boss. Yet Shizuma keeps allowing the boss to cross the line. The dude doesn’t know how to set boundaries unless Minato tells him how. He’s weaponizing his incompetence. He doesn’t have any initiative. He’s always waiting for Minato to snap and tell him what he did wrong. He’s never actually putting in the effort. His efforts are always shallow because every time he apologizes, he goes back to the same pattern behaviors than before. That’s not actual effort.
It’s probably not easy to just tell your boss no/not to do something knowing how Shizuma is, that’s why I hope he sets boundaries otherwise he’s gonna lose this relationship as well. I think Minato has it the hardest.

But his really shit… even his Au counterpart didn’t really redeem him. I read the novel with an open mind that both characters from season 1 were both bad people, Aeroc for his jealousy and an Clough just went too far, out of anger or self gratification the motive wasn’t clear. I did understand that from revenge it turned into a conquest to simply destroy Aeroc, thinking that crying makes you human.
But reading his pov in vol 2-3. Clough reek with so much arrogance, he didn’t know Aeroc Teiwind, but because of his unexplained attraction he was rude and created a perception of Aeroc. His an arrogant and cold aristocrat because of that fake polite smile. His must be trying to insult me by showing off that omega in a green dress, that his rich and can have whoever he wants. He must be easy, because he smiles at approaching Alphas. Like where is all this coming from?
He created the animosity between them even in world 1 and it’s the same in world 2. The difference is Aeroc kept his distance out of respect of the promise, Aeroc was content watching a far and helping in the background. Aeroc held an extravagant soiree for Clough and Raphael, he gave them the best seats and invited Raphael and his favorite musicians. But Clough thought, maybe Aeroc is planning to play some sort of prank. Like why would he do this.. they were always bickering. You’re the only one who’s looking for a fight. And he even thought that maybe Aeroc had feelings for Raphael…
When Raphael’s dad who saw Clough for the red flag that he was, made them break up. In his head, that it’s a cold aristocrat thing. You beat up two nobles at a party, almost killing them, got blood on your lovers face, and expected his parents not to get scared that your violent (?)
When he finds out Aeroc was a omega. He immediately coerces him into having a baby and to marry him. You have no choice! His a selfish piece of shit… that’s who Clough is. The only redeeming part was he actually worked hard to be a support system for Aeroc. Because he realized that he can’t be selfish, if his seriously going to have a family with Aeroc.
In OG Clough’s own return. He could have just searched for Raphael and married him. But he pursued Aeroc. Au Aeroc doesn’t know anything, he didn’t dream of world 1 unlike Au Clough. But Clough treated him like a future sinner, expecting him to hurt Raphael, but at the same time he courted him. Hurting the clueless Aeroc.
And when it came to pass, and Au Aeroc didn’t do what Og Clough expected. He was mortified. He realized that he was the problem. He hurt so many people. Raphael because he failed him as a partner, that he could have been happy if he found a better partner. Aeroc, he realize that it was his inferiority complex, he destroyed him for all the wrong reasons. His children they were born out of his sins, and that he hurt them, he deprived them of a life with their mother. That’s why his suffering in his arc, because he knows that all he did was leave so much hurt in world 1.
I do think you need some reading comprehension. If you also read the novel, even without memories Cloff is exactly the same as he was before in world 1 arrogant, and rude. The other commentator already commented what I want to say.

The problem really is… Klopp should have moved on after marrying Raphael, but he made it a point to repeatedly humiliate and taunt Aelock. Wasn’t rejecting him enough? It’s not an excuse to scare Raphael, but Klopp was majority to blame for the mess in s1. He had to punish Aelock for his own desires for him.
If Klopp did love Raphael then why was his solution to turn Aelock into an omega and impregnate him? Instead of sending him to jail. Raphael’s family will never get the closure they deserve because Klopp had a different idea of how justice works. Having kids with Aelock is more of an insult to Raphael’s and their dead child’s memories, it’s not a tribute… but an insult.
Klopp used Raphael to forget Aelock, when that didn’t work he used him to antagonize Aelock, he then used Raphael’s death to do what he wanted to Aelock. So the whole revenge wasn’t for Raphael, but to fulfill his desires and conquer Aelock.
Also Klopp hurts more people than Aelock. When his children do find out their mother’s fate, imagine learning your conception was some revenge justice… also he knew Aelock had a hard time giving birth to his fourth kid, the baby was a lot smaller and Aelock was consuming more painkillers. Did he really have to make a fifth kid? If you read the novel, the twins were born addicted to drugs. Klopp still blames Aelock for that hahahha. But honestly, Klopp should have known better. So it shows that he doesn’t care who he hurts, if he could fulfill his conquest of destroying Aelock. If you read the novel, Klopp had this lingering question, if Aelock didn’t have a lot of kids would he have lived?
Even after Aelock’s death. Klopp still believes his the victim, because Aelock turned him into some kind of monster. Well it’s easier to blame the dead anyway… and the most pathetic part of this was, after Aelock’s death, he realized that what he truly wanted and that was Aelock. Firmly establishing that he didn’t do all of this for Raphael.
Aelock… why do I feel more sympathy for him. He knew he was wrong, so he took everything Klopp did thinking this is how it should be. He brainwashed himself that he didn’t deserve to even see his children, that he deserves to be treated inhumanely, and that his death would ease Klopp’s suffering and his.
Since I read the whole novel all I can say is… Aelock was a decent person before meeting Klopp. He was actually a better person. The problem with Aelock was he was raised not to show weakness, to bottle what he felt, and we all know what happens to people like that (they blowup when pushed and pushed again. That impulsive decision to scare Raphael and ultimately to end his life is an example of that). He was misinterpreted as arrogant because of his cold demeanor and polite smile. When in reality it’s a mask, his dad hammered to him as a kid. No one tried to know him. Klopp just painted him as this arrogant noble with no heart… he can’t cry so he must not be remorseful.
Even in this s2, he still thinks that Aelock was incapable of feelings, just because his the Count he can’t have a heartbreak? And because he smiles at people, he must be someone easy. Where is all of this coming from?
Klopp. Reading the novel second arc made me realize, wow so he was total asshole. His pov reek with so much arrogance, it was so disappointing, I was giving both characters a fair chance… but chapters of reading Klopp’s pov didn’t improve anything. He admittedly was going to use Raphael to have a stable life.
You should read the novel. I understand, if you just read book 1, it looks like Aelock’s the bad guy and his jealousy started this whole mess. And at the end they were both victims of their actions. But I looked at the story as a whole, Aelock was isolated so his whole story was his interaction with Klopp, but what about Raphael’s family, the kids, the butler and so on? I thought that all the revenge brought nothing but more hurt. It didn’t accomplish anything, it just left a bigger hole and a damage that is irreparable.
I know he is a total asshole but I still rooting for them But not for original timeline and timeline 3 tho. Lol
