You know? I started this loving the arrogant and stoic demeanor of MC. But now that we’re here, seeing him losing himself and lose his entire personality just because he fell in love with the top is kinda disappointing. It’s not even character development. The author is deconstructing and ruining a character that had so much potential to be a power bottom. He got reduced to a cock loving bottom. And that’s kinda disappointing.
The top continues on his obsession. He doesn’t yield, so at least it’s still interesting to see how far and twisted his personality will get.
On the other hand, the author introduced the supposed “love rival” for what? To shut him out the next chapter because dude is in love with the older brother? What was the point on introducing a new character so far in the story? Just to say “he was my first love” okay but just for that?
I hope that once MC severs the connection with the top, the new guy gets reconnected to the MC and then we get to see the real angst “mc actually feeling things for gang boss first love who happens to also start feeling things for him even though he was previously in love with the older brother” otherwise the intro to that guy was absolutely pointless to the story.
Super disappointed with how the author destroyed the bottom’s stoic and curt personality to reduce him to that.
