I think the plot line is cool (or started off cool) but I think it needs more depth into the characters and their relationship with each other [also kinda dislike the MC]
Like the MC's family fell in love with her (family love lol) on the 2nd day??? All coz he was abused before??? That's pity not love (not saying that love can't come from pity or vise versa) but the mom literally came from an abusive household too, ure telling me this is the 1st abused kid she's seen??? Like as an abused child (or someone with an abused childhood) u HAVE to know that there are millions of kids like that everywhere. But falling in love with the 1st kid within 2 days is crazy, I get that the mom sees herself in the MC but at that point it's more self love and projection, not actual family love [or at least to the extent they are showing it] (not saying the MC's family can't love her, obvi they can and do, but within 2 days is CRAZY and unrealistic)
I just skimmed the middle coz a lot of things were getting on my nerves (locking up a child in a cage coz he was cursed???), so there's def different aspects of her that I haven't seen, and I don't know the other characters that well either (like maybe her half sibling is evil or maybe the other women was lied to by the MC's dad and genuinely believed the wife was evil) but girl (aka MC) ur double standards are crazy: "I want to take everything away from my half sibling coz she's the daughter of my dad's wife and I was mistreated for being the daughter of my dad's ex wife" or "I didn't mean to tell u (an unstable little boy) to leave me alone forever [and result in u trying to kill urself], I just wanted to save myself, plz audience feel bad for me coz im still a good person who was in a silly goofy mood" [which I mean, valid, ure a little girl who is scared to die (expect ure not really a little girl are u)]
Hope the prince has a happy ending tho!! (And not turn into some psycho yandere or have a sadding ending these types of stories usually make the 2nd lead as)

By your logic, ML would have cheated if he was hurt and it’s his coping mechanism. Reminder: ML was cheated on in his past relationship but he didn’t cheat on MC.
Cheating is a choice. MC is a bad partner for that, not necessarily a bad person, but bad partner.

And yea I agree he isn't a good partner (homie DEF needs therapy before starting anything new), I was talking more about hating him for a mistake(s) he made coz he genuinely doesn't know another way (like hating his mistakes is one thing but hating him is a lil extreme from my point of view)
Also I wasn't saying his coping mechanism is to cheat, his coping mechanism (from what I've gathered so far) is to go to ppl who seem to support him on way or another and doing wtv they tell him to do, coz again, he was conditioned that way as a kid. His abusive household IS relevant when it explains why he is how he is
But this is just my thought process, obvi not everyone is gonna agree and that's totally fair, I just think the MC deserves a lil more empathy

It doesn’t matter if it was a mistake he regretted. He still chose to sleep with the black haired dude at first while he was with ML. Even after ML found out, he continued to sleep with that dude. Then woke up again and cried to himself. He keeps repeating the mistake. I feel bad for him but I can’t like him either.
Honestly I only read from ch 50 and on so idk much about his abusive household but I’m also from an abusive household, mainly physical and mental to the point I struggle with clinical depression, childhood ptsd, and anxiety disorder, etc. But I still wouldn’t cheat, in fact I happen to treasure my partner more out of fear they’d leave me and that I fear I’ll be like my family members who barely showed affection, I want to make my partner happy so I feel happy, I show through actions than words though because I’m not good at communicating verbally. I think what he did (cheating) is not caused by his trauma, it’s more of what he chose to do out of insecurity and bad relationships, of course the root of it all is his abusive household that caused him to be mentally weak but still not justified at all. He’s still shitty for that.

I don’t get how he thinks having sex with someone who cheated on him is good way to resolve his insecurities. MC was hurt when he found out black haired guy cheated on him, yet he did the same thing and did it again.
I’m sure he knew of other ways to handle that, even if he didn’t resolve his insecurities. Resolving to cheating is just not it, it’s cruel and disgusting act to your partner who cherishes you. I also cried during the sex scenes between MC and the black haired dude while the ML didn’t know. I hate the black haired dude the most though.
The author makes this unrealistic sometimes, and they seem to have fetishize cheating lmao judging by their other works.
I don’t have a single support in my family or friend I can call home, but MC had a whole relationship with someone that loves him and instead of at least trying to communicate even if he couldn’t, he proceeded to cheat. That’s disgusting I’m sorry, it’s enough to hate someone for that. I don’t think he’s a bad person because he clearly regrets it, but he’s still a bad partner and needs intense therapy for all the shit he went through.
And I just want the fucking ML to be in peace with someone else that will equally cherish him without disloyalty.
