I get that he's young and immature, but he could have easily gotten the mc raped AND HE DID GET SAd COZ OF HIM AND IT WAS NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED

1. No, they’re not blood sibling or even step brother. Everything about this story is pretty rushed towards the end, but I’m pretty sure the mom wanted to tell the aunt that Byul isn’t from Hyuntae’s dad. Seeing how nervous the mom when the aunt said that is pretty telling to me. The author just couldn’t find a way to confirm this with both Byul and Hyuntae towards the end.
AND, even if they’re incest, the tags should be there from the very beginning js
2. I feel like author could’ve make the characters ‘looks’ better with more chapters, but from mid to end everything feels rushed.
2.5 NO. Mc tried his best not to get involved with alpha. If you’ve read a lot of abo you know exactly how they portrayed omega in heat pretty fucking vulnerable to the point the omega couldn’t defend themselves out there. I hate that stereotype though, but I do understand and it’s scary af for them.
3 yes, mom is a terrible person
With only 24 chapters, I say this one is pretty good. The story is rushed, there are so many unfinished business from season 1 and I feel like the author couldn’t fit them all into this. Tbh this a/b/o story is okay. There are more fucked up one out there which is pretty popular so yeah. I like Hyuntae, he’s alright, not really my top ML out there but he’s way better than alpha characters out there. He’s pretty genuine with his feelings, pretty aggressive too, I was impressed at the end where he chose to only kiss Byul’s neck when the man asked him to mark (bite) him.
Def agree that this wasn't the worst, there's been some really bad abo out there for sure,
and I totally agree about the omegas being put in a position where they cant resist alphas (10001% not their fault, have always thought that if omegas have to take inhibitors so do alphas, its only fair),
I just meant (regarding 2.5) that he was giving a bunch of different reasons not to be with him but the second he found out the brother was an alpha mc said "u know, ure not that bad, let's go out" which I thought was pretty dumb BUTTTTT maybe it was more of a "wow he pretended to be a beta for my comfort, he really DOES care about me"
That being said, lets be real THIS WAS DEF INCEST, half brothers with the same dad to be exact (and it had NO incest TAGS): in season 1 they had already established who the MC's dad was, THATS why the mom was nervous coz she had kept hidden that the MC's dad was the aunts brother (well she also hide their past relationship in general)
All that being said haha, if they removed the rape-y scene and the incest, as I've said before, I could easily see myself liking them as a couple
2.5 the 2nd ML called him out for it at the end, that Byul keep living inside his bubble for so long the thought that anyone can change felt so unreal to him. I mean I don’t blame him his parents figure is his mom, who’s an omega, who’s felt chained by his fated pair. I get Byul’s fear here. And when everyone’s seems leaving him behind at that moment, Byul realized his own feelings towards Hyuntae.
About the incest thing, let’s face it, the author never really blatantly stated that they’re brothers, brother in blood. It’s only implied by Byul as an excuse because in that chapter he wanted to escape from Hyuntae, again. And honestly, I was thinking the same way when it got revealed like god damn it man why incest? But after few reads, especially those last four chapters, seeing how the mom was trying to deny what the aunt said about Byul is hers and Hyuntae’s father’s, I came to conclusion that they’re not related by blood at all. The mom might’ve told everybody that, and even told Byul because she wanted to escape from H’s father grasp. We see that from season 1.
I’m not in denial that they might’ve been related, I’m just saying my takes on why they’re not.
Ngl I definitely skimmed the last 5chps or so, so some of that hate is definitely undeserved, im sure the author explained it better than I imagined like u pointed out, ig I was just disappointed coz I felt like it had so much potential it didnt live up to hahaha
Yeah, I guess the author decided to end this one pretty quick. If you want to, you should try checking them out. This story is far from prefect, but it’s alright in its element.
