HOW TF does this reverse auction work? If a bunch of people bid won't the price go way down? So the items can't be too good, since the charity part won't work well otherwise, right?
Like, please can anyone explain the rules of this show to me in a way that makes sense? Why would they not do a normal auction?
Why was he worried about his item selling for too little because no one would want it? That seems like the opposite of how it really works

It feels like there's pages missing again in Chapter 112...
Or it just ends that abruptly? I feel like there's at least a panel or two missing

No, it does end like that, if you wanna check, here are the raws:

It kinda irritated me how not joining the tower being illegal for magicians was treated like this natural law that couldn't be changed.
I also hated how every child is a clone of their dad. Both hair and eyes are the same. All the Emperor's children looked the same because of it.
He was 32 by the end, and tbh, I think the author lost track of the passage of time, because everyone looked the same after the first time skip, even though Douglas Douglas went from teen to young adult. And even after all those years, all the people who were adults from the beginning looked the same.
But all that is just me nitpicking, the story is completely fine overall

I don't understand what her plan is... I guess she doesn't really trust Iske yet? Because I see no reason for her to keep up appearances with her brother

Like, what? He wouldn't have access to her if she decided to go against him, because Iske would make sure he doesn't. He is a sneaky son of a bitch so I'm sure he could pull something, but Iske is kinda immune to his reputation being ruined.
And like I said, I just don't understand what her long-term plan is? I'm not even saying it's bad, I literally just want to know where she thinks she's going with this

That's true.. Also, it's not easy to get away from the fear of the abuser. Plus, the latest chapter is evidence that Cesare is pretty sly. He smoothly lied to Iske's face. If Ruby hadn't gotten along with 'her brother' we wouldn't have known that the man who tried to harm her was indeed Cesare's subordinate. By appearing to be innocent she tries to keep tabs on his plan.

Thank you for keeping it civil and making excellent points and arguments! When I saw the amount of replies in my notifs I got worried lol
I totally agree that her logical thinking is compromised by fear and that it's completely natural for her to act irrationally in her situation.
Her plan didn't fit with the reality of the situation, but makes sense from her perspective, and I can wrap my head around it now.

I think Ruby is also trying to keep any sort of violence to a minimum. I think she knows the Pope's family is powerful and nothing good will come from iske going against them. Plus Caesar is making her aware he is watching and is able to get to her. His subordinate nearly broke her foot without getting caught or suspected. That could've easily been a dagger in her back or something. The fear is deeply imbedded and she thinks she's disposable.

When I realised the love story between the duchess and duke was ACTUALLY supposed to be romantic I was quite baffled. It didn't sound romantic at all. It sounded like the duke was coerced into marriage. Kinda wish they just left that out altogether, since they seem to get along fine in the actual story

Bet he's gonna have some sobstory background that makes the MC melt into a doormat. It's so over
The author doesn't even acknowledge this SA. The people thinking the MC seems scared and traumatised have some wishful thinking going on. He's literally just stressed by the attention of BOTH MLs as if they're comparable. He literally thinks he has to defend his life against them, not his body
As soon as he figures out that neither of them are interested in the FL and he has nothing to worry about in that regard, the story will just pretend this was all romantic

They're throwing the word cheating around too much! That being said, ML sucks ass. I don't judge him for sleeping around, but I hate the "I sleep around cuz I'm loooooonely" excuse. It's also always one-sided open relationships with these guys. He sleeps around meanwhile MC is not allowed to see other people. If they get together he's gonna be suddenly monogamous and it's gonna be obnoxious af
Isn't the grandfather kind to blame for everything? If he hadn't murdered her, her daughter's body couldn't have been taken over by a demon for revenge
Technically he didn't murder her, she murdered herself but yes he is to blame for everything
