Honestly i don't care anymore like AT ALL about the main love triangle, I only want to read about the the two side couples both have so much more flavor... to begin with I don't like either of two main tops so yeah i want more of the guard story
I still think its so dumb that mc still trusts the director guy when he knows himself he is super sus that he makes him go in a "special secret mission" that no one but them two know about in this super sus sex shop that uses guides as sex slaves... Like I know he wants to be discharged from his military duties so bad but is he really trusting the man even he knows can't be fully trusted???
The webtoon is so fast paced compared to the novel.. Seonwoo made his first appearance in the second half but here it was like chapter 30... Only three main points are left of the story so with this space it feels like it will end at chapter 60 MAX

official first 2 volumes are on kindle and kobo. fan-translation would have been removed as a way to avoid copy right with the official novel release but you could look on some novel archive pages they might have it for download.
I went to check and the raws as well end at chapter 85 and its been in hiatus for year now, it's not even the end of the season it just went in hiatus abruptly :( me nosy and desperate I went on twitter to see if there was an official announcement from the authors but the illustrator has recently completed another webtoon, the short story 녹음의 화원 (the garden of recordings here in mangago) but they have deleted every single tweet about shining summer, changed their artist nickname and only kept the webtoon title in their bio kinda as a resume... I can't find the writer jayjay anywhere so my two cents are that the artist and the writer have taken different paths and they might not want to work together anymore... yeah..

Tapa s has licensed in english only up to season 1 and has been in hiatus ever since so any screenshot for a translation of s2 is immediately recognised as an illegal translation. Although this webtoon might be discontinued, it still may trigger another website witch hunt and put at risk every other translation.
