I think what they're hinting is that MC is basically the same hyung ML is looking for like some sort of time travel thing... like saying he's remided him of the hyung, him being blind and not being able to see people properly, the high rating match... but I thought they said when another person guides someone who is imprinted by another guide, both feel pain and MC and ML felt pain when they do guiding sessions... I guess I'm the only one who likes MC. Of course I don't like or would make his same choices, but we are an external reader who knows what happens... He's a traumatized vulnerable victim, who has been betrayed thousands of times by everyone because of his brother, as well as is completely isolated because of him. Doubt he still believes he can get his brothers affection back but he believes he can be freed or maybe he just wants to believe it to keep his sanity. Even if I don't agree with his actions I honestly feel bad for him and I can see where he's coming from.
