I lowkey feel bad for Su-ah but I also understand why Juhyeok is like that. Pretty depressing that he can't even have a decent life on his own without an alpha. Even though he works so hard to overcome the shortcomings of his secondary gender, he can never escape his very nature. He wants to be strong and independent — which he is to an extent — but the narrative forces him into the role of a damsel in distress.

That's like, seriously messed up and a way to force dependency :/ like, if not for the "romance" this is a Gone Girl type of manipulation even if not "intentional"( such as those side effects) it is still very demeaning and such a basic lack of respect and understanding of Juhyeok's bodily autonomy and choices :/
