this is kinda uncomfortable maybe it’ll get better in the end, but sunwoo is uncomfortably pushy. like dude, ur practically living in this guys place rent free after barely knowing him, and despite him rejecting u once, u keep confessing and jerking off in the damn living room (AGAIN HE DOESNT EVEN PAY RENT... AT LEAST DO IT IN THE BATHROOM?). idk, if he was a big, tall dude i’d bet most people would be :/ about that kiss but because he’s small and cute and “puppy-like,” people look past it and it’s framed in this cutesy, romantic way. nothing about this guy sits right with me khhfhkgj

i'm always SO wary of reading this author's works because even though they're such a talented artist and writer, the very bleak nature of their horror makes me wanna spiral lmao. i went into this expecting to be Heavily Depressed by the end of it, but it ended up being a lot more uh... wholesome? than i thought? probably the most wholesome of all their works LMAO like cmon.... the incubus that eats rapists' hearts also used to work in a hospital and gave comfort to kids <3
of course since this is a horror manga, there are copious horror elements, but what i loved was how in the beginning they lead you to believe that the monsters/demons would be these "heartless" (haha) villains but in actuality, the villains were the fanatics ruthlessly hunting them (the werewolf family... ugh my heart breaks thinking of those poor kids :( ). in the end, all naruko and manuel truly wanted was to be happy and even though the ending is more on the bittersweet side, i can rest easy knowing they'll have each other <3. just such a good read.

it’s funny seeing ppl in the comments yelling at a fictional character to “hold him accountable” ... he’s not a real person and even then, like others have said, what matters is that in this fictional story, he very clearly is aware that he fucked up and is trying to make up for it.
(i’m just in it for the ride at this point, because i know eventually the author will eventually do SOMETHING to make jooin ditch cain as a friend to go back to yahwi

i’m only on ch14 so my feelings might change later but it’s getting hard to get through because of this mc hes a weird mix of inconsiderate +bold +spineless and like while i see where all that comes from... it’s making it really hard to enjoy reading his pov lmao i mean the plots interesting and the sex scenes are hot but good god... and i usually like pathetic mcs!! but this one is just so hard to like or find anything redeeming about so far omg.

they’re so cutely awkward lol. there’s so much realism in their characters and how they interact, i could definitely imagine a real life couple having the same conversation. we always want characters to communicate more and this is what it looks like—sometimes it goes well, most times it’s awkward and kinda rough to get through, but ur trying. and si-eon isn’t sus at all to me; it’s clear he has a lot of baggage that affects his current relationship and that’s what makes him and the story so compelling.
also: goddamn namwoos ass *lip bite emoji*
this author is so good at emotional tension, like the part where cirrus is talking about badminton and all skylar can think about is the teacher asking if something was up? oof, even i felt anxious. also the part with skylar crying on the stairs was so heartbreaking :( the fact that he did it without making a sound was so ... ugh poor baby ☹
