While this isn’t the first time this translation group has made weird mistakes, most notably pronoun mixups (e.g. ML referring to the FL with he/him in one occasion but she/her everywhere else), it’s particularly egregious in this story especially in the last few chapters to the point if you’re not carefully following the plot it makes it a little confusing!

I’m not usually a stickler for minor translation mistakes in fan translations because they’re done and provided for free (significantly poor TLs are another story I won’t get into) but when this group charges money after a certain number of chapters yet besides the way it reads like MTL/AI sometimes, there isn’t even a quality checker for simple mistakes like this if it isn’t even translated by a real person puts a bad taste in my mouth. People shouldn’t have to put in the effort to read between the lines of what you meant if payment is required not just an option to support like every other group does

There are random missing chapter parts between ch33-38 (they all have 3 and some extras aren’t here) so you’re better off reading those chapters on a different site

Read Dance of Spring before this one. Although there’s not a huge difference if you don’t, DoS afterwords state it is the first arc of the story and it also introduces the characters one by one rather than text box at the start

Decent story but aside from the wild revelations with zero buildup to make it as impactful as it could’ve been it was hard to truly get into it because it’s very obvious the author was not very familiar with either culture they were referencing

Digital tattoo refers to the fact things put out on the internet never really disappear like a tattoo. It doesn’t have to be something you put out yourself as false accusations can be devastating to a persons reputation so he’s threatening her with doing that

Story cut short because the magazine it was published in stopped publication. The concepts were pretty interesting to me but because it was cut short suddenly it’s by no way a satisfying ending so I wouldn’t recommend reading and getting invested

Cold sores caused by herpes can look very similar to ones caused by stress and lack of sleep. Please get an actual diagnosis from a healthcare professional if you notice cold sores around your mouth because if they were just caused by the latter reason there’s no reason to think your life is over just because they showed up

I’m glad jurei actually gave loulan a hefty punishment instead of letting her off the hook bc what she did was severe, even if jurei managed to make the most of her circumstances. Sex work is a honest job and I respect those who do it because it’s definitely not easy so make no mistake being banished to a brothel is not the punishment but the fact she will have to work really hard the rest of her life. Her grace to her since it was also a product of her circumstances is that she will be rewarded if she works hard (moving up the hierarchy and receiving more protection if needed)

The only way any of his behaviour makes sense is if it gets revealed that he knew her in the past bc there’s been like no development on the guys side in the past 40 chapters
