Someone needs to publish this as a hardcover book, so I can buy it and flip through all the glossy pages. Reading stuff online is great and economical, but sometimes I want to hold a book in my hands...

Totally! And I can already imagine the different texture of papers used for instance. The dust jacket, the book illustration, the scent of ink on paper... Oh heaven!
Now there are many just-in-time printers that offer small batch prints enabling more self-published or small publishing houses or fanzines or doujinshis to create high quality books for the bookworms. I totally hope they will have a "buy in print" option on lezhin.

Japan must be hardcore ageist or something because in mangas they make it seem like as soon as you hit your 30s you're practically a senior citizen.
Which is doubly weird since most Asians barely show their age and tend to live longer than the rest of us.
I mean, my parents are much farther apart in age than these two (16 years) and it's really no big deal.

His father was a bastard and his stepmom is a total bitch.
He absolutely should not feel even a little bit bad his dad is dead.
In fact, I'd be OK with him doing a little dancing on the bastard's grave.
Thank goodness for the people who do care for him

I totally agree with you to the point I thought of this when you said you would dance a little lol

I like this story quite a bit, but had trouble following a lot of the text.
Did anyone else find the dialogue a bit awkward and confusing?

Personally, I wasn't certain translation was the main problem because this wasn't anything like poorly translated mangas I've read in the past.
The spelling and grammar were actually fine in most passages; it was the content and flow that seemed wonky.
The text didn't appear to match the story in a lot of panels and often didn't make much sense, mostly because they were too vague.
Basically, I was left wondering what the heck went wrong, as well as what the author originally meant to say.
Still, I feel better knowing it wasn't just me because it seemed like I was going a bit crazy while I was reading it.

That went from sweet and straightforward to incest and time travel awfully quick.
And exactly what kind of future is that family gonna have?
I can see it now:
"Hey mom, did you know dad only married you because you reminded him of me after we fell in love and had sex in some magical time warp located in a random back room at my school?"
I kind of wanted him to end up with Shinya.
And did we ever find out whether or not Jousei slept with that girl after he'd hooked up with Motoki? Because, if he did, that makes him both a hypocrite and an asshole.
I was thinking the same thing
Thank you!
It's nice to know I'm not the only one with questions/reservations.
