the writing is not very good tbh even tho the hacker theme is interesting. and blondie is just a disgusting creep who’s flirting is borderline harassment. mc is written weird too bc why is he acting like he’s falling in love when he was just thinking he was hot like 2 days ago. blondie hasnt even done anything romantic he’s only been creepy.
this is one of the worst things ever written, not that i’ve read, ever written. the plot is absolute nonsense. i really felt so bad for qun qing in the first half but honestly he’s a fucking dumbass. and qun mo should have just been killed lets be honest. that monster should have been put down before it got worse. and qun qing’s former boss is also a dumbass and a creep. everything was very poorly written, especially qun qing’s character. he had his head on straight for so so so long and then suddenly he’s stupid and getting off to being assaulted and raped? you cannot tell me that he got to the point of not caring if everyone thought he was a child molester but wouldn’t tell a single person at any point that his cousin was a psychopath that raped him it just doesn’t make any sense. he was quitting his job and skipping town multiple times but wouldn’t tell the doctor about what happened and get qun mo moved to another facility or something? what a joke. and the ending was just so incredibly idiotic, it’s not something that a sane person would write. you can make a good or interesting psychotic story but this was just dogshit. this one should have stayed in the drafts.
i can’t believe i didn’t read this sooner. it was amazing. first of all the art is absolutely breathtaking, and the consensual smut scenes were so so so well done i think they’re so great together visually. but the story was also amazing. when it comes to the really horrible shit like rape i think revenge is well deserved however the victim sees fit, and thats what utsumi did. and i’m so glad that after his initial revenge and they started spending time together things didnt just get better. because that’s just not how that works. that kind of trauma is something that can haunt you for the rest of your life and i think that’s represented pretty well here. i think utsumi really put akamine through the ringer and really got him close to understanding what those 6 years were like for him. even if things didnt go how utsumi initially planned i do think it’s the best ending that could have happened for both of them. but the best part for me was how real the characters seemed, their emotions and mood changes. the way they were developed throughout the story shows growth so well, things still arent perfect at the end but it’s clear they’re both on the path to healing. i really hope this path includes some good and honest therapy. i somehow feel like ive left something out but this comment is already a mess so ill just let it go lol. anyway i loved it.
the way the actor reacted to that scene made me feel better about him. i mean i would have started screaming and taken dans headphones off and tried to get him out even if i was beat to death but that’s not actually realistic lol. but my (probably) false hope is up that he’s going to at least try to help dan get out. an easy way would be to just pay off everything jky gave dan and everything else dan would need, it’s not like he doesnt have the money to do so. but dan would also have to get over being a good helpful person constantly and stop helping jky with his jinx, i just know he would feel guilty regardless of what jky did.

i want him so bad
