So, it looks as though the uke used to be in a relationship with his art teacher, as they "got closer" the other kids (i think they were high schoolers? The man died while they were in highschool) in class got weirded out, quit the class and told their parents about what they saw. The parents reported the teacher about him being a pedophile so the art school was closed down, the teacher disappears and ends up dead. Could've been suicide, could've been murder, who knows? He was outed as a pedophile so it's possible one of the angry parents killed him? Flash forward to the flashback where the two MC's are still in highschool and see each other at the bus stop, -news about someone dead- the seme is recommended by his brother to go visit an art museum where he meets the uke again, the uke tells the seme about his relationship with the teacher and that the teacher was the one on the news from the beginning of ch 1 that died. Flash forward to present time where the seme gets his brother to give him a ride to the uke's house, it is revealed that the two have kept a sexual relationship since back when they 1st had sex, you can see that they're both in love, but the uke is insecure and thinks the seme will leave at some point. Presumably, he thinks the seme will die as that was his trauma with his art teacher.

I didn't get that impression, maybe though. It's like, i could and couldn't see it because you'd have to be reading into his negativity to come to that conclusion since there isn't really anything implying that. He seems happy with the seme and his negativity can easily be chalked down to the art teacher. If it happens, this story had more depth than i was expecting and that'd be cool.

1. He's never been in a position till now where he WOULD say "i like you" or other sweet nothings as they aren't in a relationship and he only JUST realised his feelings.
2. He was having a private conversation that the uke eavesdropped on and took however he wanted without asking what was meant or allowing Dojin to explain. Look at the scene where he's leaving and watch Dojin offer to talk and try to explain.
3. Out of context, he never says it that harshly and only says it because he had to save Hyesung from 2 scams, the "alpha hormone spray" that almost sicks a crowd of alphas on him when he goes into heat not realizing he's an omega and the sex scam Dojin spends an assload of money saving him from. Then he almost gets into a 3rd scam.
4. Again, out of context and this goes into that "3rd scam" i just mentioned, Hyesung went to go to another scam interview RIGHT after being saved from the sex scam, so Dojin tells him to run them by him.
5. I'm assuming by this you mean "tries to stop Hyesung from leaving in a huff because of a misunderstanding because Hyesung eavesdropped and misunderstood what was said"? He's trying to talk to him and explain.
6. He didn't "try" to do anything, you're reading an omegaverse where biology is different, he was accused of "threatening" Hyesung so he let out his pheromones to prove that he's never used them on Hyesung before. That's why Hyesung says "these are his pheromones?", he's never felt them before. He was upset that Hyesung was implying he even WOULD threaten him since he'd done nothing but treat him well... The pheromones overcame Dojin. DURING the scene Hyesung comments "his eyes... Get ahold of yourself!" because he sees Dojin went unconscious and in ch 20 Dojin confirms this when he says: "i lost all control".
As a side note: replacing "uke" with "wife" makes no sense as they've had a purely sexual relationship till now with Dojin trying to help Hyesung one sidedly. They're more like "roommates" till now.
We readers get the clear picture of the situation because we're given a third person view of their story. Kind of like a god view.
But these characters do not know what's going on all the time.
They only conclude things based from how they interpret it.
We readers get the entire picture. Both hyesung and dojins pov. We're given their every personal thought bubble. While they do not.
We see how Dojin is in love with Hyesung because the pages show us his thoughts or we can read the expression on his face. But what we read is not not what Hyesung's sees.
We can assess the characters easily because we see everything.
It's different when you read a novel with a first person pov.
How we interpret the story can be biased or limited or one sided because thats how the main character's thoughts are set.
But here with Manhwas, we get everything.
Let's not judge the characters.
Who's mature who's not.
Who's smart who's dumb
They will prevail eventually.
We are just their audience.
We should enjoy their struggles and hardships and how they'll build each other up

Not sure where anyone is getting that idea after reading and comprehending the flow of events... Dojin tells Hyesung to wait and accidentally lets slip a small amount of pheromones, Hyesung accuses Dojin of "threatening" him, which understandably pisses him off as he's been taking really good care of Hyesung and has never used his pheromones on him or forced him to do anything, Dojin releases his pheromones to show Hyesung that he doesn't recognize their intensity because he's never used them on Hyesung. The pheromones then take control. Just read the dialogue, Dojin says "have i ever released my pheromones around you? I was nice to you, i let you make yourself at home. Why are you always trying to run away from me?". He's hurt because Hyesung implied he even WOULD threaten him and doesn't understand why Hyesung is trying to leave when all he does is treat him well.
People can make their own choices and it seems daddy here has completely taken those choices away from our omega, time and time again.

I don't think so. Hyesung packed his bag to leave, what, four / five times? He didn't leave any of those times. If you ask me, if he didn't leave the second time, he is just using leaving as an excuse to coerce Dojin to give him more and more stuff. Ofcourse we can't be sure, because the manga shows Hyesung's thoughts much less than Dojin's, so we don't really know what he is thinking. Also, the author on her Twitter page released a couple of extra consensual sex scenes between Hyesung and Dojin where Hyesung admits that he likes sleeping with Dojin, and she said that they were within the time frame of the chapters. The truth, I think is that Hyesung was starting to like Dojin, until that chapter where he overheard that Dojin was just using him for musical inspiration, and he concludes that Dojin was keeping him only for his own selfish reasons. Also, in omegaverse, because of pheromones, ordinary ideas of rape, blame etc is a bit more hard to agree on. (Which is probably the very point of omegaverse)

You have to keep in mind that when they first met Hyesung had fallen for the "spray on alpha pheromones" scam and shortly after he fell for that sex scam that cost Dojin money and then RIGHT after that Hyesung was about to get himself into a 3rd scam before Dojin told him "that's obviously a scam, that's not suspicious to you?!". Hyesung has made it abundantly clear that he can't take care of himself, he's just trying to help. If you look at the dialogue, the reason Dojin wanted Hyesung to stay so bad just now was because Hyesung was pissed off on a misunderstanding and he wanted to talk and clear things up.
Eventually people will change, the past will be in the past, and we will still see more chapters. Dojin wants Hyesung to stay, but we all can see that Hyesung is just like a child. I belive that he just need more time, there is no dojin or hyesung is worser, both of them are wrong and people should start noticing it.
The sex scenes were all uncontrollable accidents, caused by their biology. The heat and pheromones are a natural state for them, not a state of mind effected by outside influences like being drunk, drugged, etc. Biology can't be helped. The REST is, verifiably, Hyesung's fault, all the misunderstandings, his bad attitude and any other struggles in his relationship with Dojin. This is why people dislike him. He's quick to jump to assumptions, what's worse, about a guy who has done nothing but treat him well and take care of him. He's the one who jumped to the conclusion that Dojin raped him and started accusing him, he's the one who jumped to the conclusion that Dojin is using him for inspiration, he's the one who fell for 3 scams and made it evident to Dojin that he can't take care of himself, hence Dojin taking care of him. This paired with his clear gold digging mentality.
Looks like Hyesung is getting a slight bit of character development, he's starting to show a microscopic interest in the baby. Maybe here soon he won't be insufferable. Dojin, i'm rooting for you, make this man-baby love you!
As far as the "i don't get why people hate Hyesung" comments: the reason for everyone disliking Hyesung is obvious, we should all just forget that argument now as it's been going on forever. If you STILL don't understand how Hyesung is annoying and the "bad guy" here, even before the pregnancy was revealed, i'll explain it one last time as it's been over-said: Hyesung has always been a gold digger since the beginning, when he thought he was an alpha his only prerequisite for an omega partner was "rich" and he's going along with Dojin for the same reason. Dojin didn't start taking care of Hyesung to "control him" or whatever, Hyesung has proven 3 times that he can't function on his own when he fell for the "spray on alpha pheromones" scam at the beginning of the manga that resulted in Dojin getting him away from the literal crowd of alphas that would've had no choice but to find and fuck him when he went into heat, the scam Dojin had to spend an ass load of money to save him from and the 3rd scam right after when he went job searching again and Dojin said "that's clearly a scam! Dojin decided to take care of him to take care of him, not for ulterior motives, the "inspiration" thing was Hyesung jumping to conclusions like he did when he accused Dojin of raping him even though it was Hyesung who came onto HIM in heat. Do you see it now? He gave Hyesung a place to stay and Hyesung accused him of raping him and was going to leave in a huff over a misunderstanding without letting Dojin explain, AFTER he made it abundantly clear he's a bad judge of character and is scam prone. No wonder Dojin was worried.
The pheromones and "knotting" have been gone over so many times, you'll have to look back to see that, no, Dojin didn't rape Hyesung last sex scene. You can't rape someone while unconscious. If you were tied to a chair and rode against your will, would you have raped them in that scenario? The pheromones are the "ropes". Okay, done. Not looking to argue this, in my eyes there IS no argument and i feel that should be obvious. If that upsets anyone, just take it as my personal opinion i guess, though i consider it logic rather than just an opinion.

A few thoughts: I like Kureeda, i really do, but i can't ship them. It's so obvious that she's still in love with Ayukawa. I'm really not looking forward to watching him hurt over the breakup, but i DO want them back together. Ayukawa and Kawana just have this amazing chemistry while as it feels like Kureeda is just a rebound for her and rather than love, it feels like she just likes how nice he is to her. I think she cares for him, but not romantically. I really don't like that they had sex, tbh. It felt unnecessary as you can see Ayukawa is endgame since they both think about each other constantly and Kureeda even admitted Ayukawa is still 1st in her heart. I don't blame either of them of course, i just can't help but feel that something feels... Wrong. She still loves Ayukawa and i know that there isn't really anything keeping them apart aside from Nagashima's machinations and their own personal barriers. She had sex with him under these circumstances and it feels wrong. I wish it had stopped when he stopped, i wish she hadn't pushed him resulting in the sex. It's something that can't be taken back. Putting that aside, holy shit did a few characters piss me off, mostly Nagashima and Kawana's family, especially her dad. He begged Ayukawa to break up with Kawana and tried to guilt trip him with his sickness and slapped her face and called her selfish because she wanted to go visit her boyfriend in the hospital... Fuck you dad! Nagashima's a total bitch, i empathize with her, but not enough to excuse her. I liked that Kureeda was straightforward and challenged Ayukawa to his face, Nagashima did the OPPOSITE. She has done nothing but put negativity in Kawana's head and now she lied that they were together to keep them apart... She's grossly underhanded. To give her credit, she was awesome before she changed, she helped Ayukawa SO much and it's not like she's all bad. I get the feeling that Kawana X Ayukawa is endgame, Kureeda has been expecting it and i think he'll just respectfully bow out when Kawana makes her choice. It'll be sad seeing him hurt... Nagashima's available, but there has been no buildup for them so i think they'll end up going their separate ways as Kawana is learning to take care of others so Nagashima wont be needed.
