Changyeong thought Seungwon is straight?! So he was trying to push Heesu's feelings onto a "straight guy"?! He JUST said he thought Jiyu was Seungwon's crush! He literally doesn't care what happens to Heesu, as long as it isn't HIM doing it/Heesu doesn't KNOW it's him doing it. He is okay with Heesu falling for Seungwon and Seungwon rejecting him, he just doesn't want to have to do it himself! (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸 He isn't "playing cupid", it was obvious in the first place that he didn't care about whether or not Heesu was happy rather he was more worried that he got what HE wanted, to not have to deal with Heesu being upset and possibly cutting ties with him. This just confirmed it. He was literally planning on just pushing Heesu onto another straight guy. I NEED Heesu to find out how much of a cunt Changyeong is, i know Heesu is going to hurt, but it NEEDS to happen. Changyeong HAS to face some consequences. I want Heesu to hear what Changyeong did and just have an emotional breakdown before cutting ties with him so that Changyeong feels as shitty as possible. I want it to be one of those really terrible scenes usually found in tragedy manga where you SEE the character kinda shatter a bit. I want to SEE Changyeong see that and realize. If they become friends again after, fine, but they CANNOT continue on as "friends" when in reality Changyeong doesn't really care what happens to Heesu and he has just been getting what he wants.
I don't hate changyeong yet, so far...
but I think I would, if a horrible plot twist like he soon will fall in love with heesu once heesu starting to open his heart for seungwon.
now that's what I call a triangle love.
and I would hate him more if he took it for granted and make it complicated for seungwon because he already knew heesu have been loving him since forever.
-continuation of my comment- AT BEST, Changyeong thought Seungwon would just reject Heesu, since he thought he was straight... He wasn't "playing cupid", its clear Changyeong just wanted to shove Heesu's feelings off onto the 1st guy Heesu spent time with besides himself, which HAPPENED to be Seungwon. So, Changyeong knew that Heesu liked him even from when they were younger and FOR YEARS has been purposely going out of his way to date many women so he could introduce each of them to Heesu before purposely going out of his way to cancel plans with and ignore Heesu in favor of his girlfriends on the off chance that Heesu MIGHT get hurt enough to give up... all this while occasionally saying some things to hurt Heesu's feelings on purpose, and NOW he is trying to set up Heesu with a STRAIGHT GUY? Sorry, "set up" isn't the right phrase, that implies he cares about the outcome or even thinks Heesu has a chance... he has been trying to push Heesu's feelings onto Seungwon, NOT set them up.
-sorry, another continuation... Can't edit- I don't know how many have noticed, but the way Changyeong treats Heesu has always been about what Changyeong wants, not about avoiding hurting Heesu or what might be best for Heesu. Changyeong says "I WANT to stay friends with Heesu", not "i don't want to hurt him with my rejection". He just doesn't want to deal with upsetting Heesu and Heesu possibly cutting ties because then he'd lose something he likes. Think about it, if he did all that to avoid hurting Heesu he did a bad job, "i'll avoid hurting Heesu by hurting Heesu"... It was never about Heesu, it was about Changyeong keeping something he likes, at any cost to Heesu.
Yeah, he knows NOW. That was my point, he only knows NOW, he didn't know Seungwon is gay/bi till just now, even though a few chapters back he made it clear that he wants to see if Heesu's feelings can migrate over to Seungwon. Chanyoung didn't even know Seungwon, he thought Seungwon was straight, but when he noticed Heesu spending time with a guy aside from himself he was happy at the thought that Heesu might move on to someone else. Even though he didn't know the guy and had no reason to think Heesu even had a chance with him. It isn't about Heesu's happiness, he just wants Heesu to start liking someone else so that he doesn't have to deal with Heesu's feelings, it'd be inconvenient for him if he had to reject Heesu and Heesu cut ties with him because he likes Heesu and doesn't want to lose something he likes. I'd like to make a clear distinction here, when i say "likes" i mean it in a selfish way, like a toy or object. If he cared about Heesu as a person he'd not have done all he did to hurt Heesu in an attempt to get him to give up rather than just telling him he isn't gay and he would care about the outcome of who he pushes Heesu onto. It's clear he doesn't care what happens to Heesu once his feelings are pointed away from him, Heesu can be rejected and heartbroken and it wont matter because it'll no longer be his problem, he'll be there to give half-assed comfort and that's it. All that matters to him is that he gets to 'keep' (again, as an object) Heesu, at any cost to Heesu.
Honestly, i don't care how cute Heejae is acting or how cute they are together, till the truth comes out about all the manipulation i'm not going to be satisfied with them together... Heejae really just feels fake to me still. Like, he loves Jisuh, but he ACTS in front of him. Idk that i want him with Sunyool either, for the same reason. People forget that Sunyool is just as much a part of what they did as Heejae was. Till the truth comes out they're both sweeping the pain they inflicted on Jisuh under the rug because they don't want to be hated. Jisuh needs to know that Heejae called and paid his ex to show up and that the two of them conspired to get him. Sunyool was on board with whatever Heejae wanted to do till he got to know Jisuh, now he has feelings and is regretting their actions after the fact? Boohoo? I suppose Sunyool just admitted that he "helped reel Jisuh in", so that's one step forward for Sunyool and none for Heejae so far, but i cant let Sunyool off the hook when he knows what Heejae did and could do and wont say anything. He literally just stopped mid-sentence because he didn't want Jisuh to know. He basically lied to his face. Or omitted the truth at least. I get that they don't want him to get mad, but he has every right to be mad, it shouldn't be their choice. If he decides he can move past it, fine, but that should be Jisuh's choice. Right now Jisuh isn't choosing to be with them with knowledge of all the facts, it is more like he is still being manipulated to be with them since their tactics worked to get him in bed and invested, but they are both going out of their way to keep Jisuh in the dark about the shitty things they did to get him there. The dad and son seem to be getting hate, the dad for being a "pedo" and the son because reasons? We don't know how old the #1 was when he lost his virginity, he could've been of legal age when it happened. They trained him up unti "he was ready", i'm assuming "ready" is of legal age. The dad treated him really well, i don't see the problem as of now. All the nobles take their sons there to "become men", it seems that society in this manga doesn't view buying prostitutes, even young ones, as "wrong". Similar to the places irl that set up arranged marriages between older men and teenage girls. To us it's weird, to them it's a culture thing. I think the shop is the disgusting thing here, they're the ones prowling for children to train as prostitutes. As far as he was concerned he was just spending money on a service. The son i can kinda (?) understand people hating, if they just really can't stand cockiness, but he's really just a stereotypical spoiled rich kid type. I think the theme here is going to be growth, it puts a lot of emphasis on him "becoming a man". There have been plenty of humbling moments for him even up till now and the head of the salon just said "Let him go. This'll be a good lesson for him" when the guard went to stop him from going to see the #1 after being declined. I think the idea is that he is going to learn. Right now he is learning he can't have everything he wants. There was also the part where he tried to enter the salon during the day when that guy told him he "doesn't know how things work". I think the theme here is growth.
I agree with u but I think u might be off with ur spoiled rich kid, sure he's acting the part of a spoiled rich kid but I don't think he was with his father from the day he was born, if u remember at the coming of age party a man said "so that's the son of that filthy gypsy" (at least somewhere along those lines) so I can c why others might hate him bcuz he ain't a full pure blood as how they'd call him, a wealthy man whose (probably a king) had an illegitimate child with a gypsy (whore/prostitute)
1. The hate should be directed at the old man, not the boy. How do you even do the mental gymnastics? He was being manipulated... He just wanted to be with the guy, he knew that and would give him little bits of hope to keep him coming. The kid was young, it was probably his first love, still pure and lacking in the reality that a few shitty relationships will open you to. It's obvious he didn't go in expecting the old man to ask him to let himself be fucked by other guys... The first time was clearly with Taesuh... He even says he doesn't want to. It's not like he didn't try to resist, he said he didn't want to, but when he saw the old man just get more persistent and Taesuh just started fucking him even though he was saying "please no" he had to weigh his options and decided he could bare with being fucked by someone else if it would make the old man happy. Was this a smart choice? No. But i think to call him an "idiot" is too harsh. He wasn't really given any time to think as Taesuh literally just started fucking him while he was begging the old man to change his mind. Not just that, but people are trying to apply logic to love, which doesn't always work. Especially during the 1st few meaningful relationships as you are mostly just running on how much you like them rather than thinking.
2. Overall i like Taesuh, but i think that he did something shitty that no one is talking about that needs pointed out. I mentioned above that Taesuh just started fucking the boy while he was begging the old man to not make him do it. I get that he was getting paid to do it and that if he didn't he'd probably have been asked to leave, but it was a clear moral line... I think he did it because he had feelings for the boy already though... He gets very jealous, it seems, of the boy's loyalty to the old man and what is going through his head the entire time is how he is better than the old man and how he doesn't understand why he is so loyal to him. He even asks the boy to switch over to being his lover after. It's a very gray area to me, but more on the darker side. Regardless of anything else he shouldn't have fucked him there. If he was going to end up busting the door down and barging in to steal the boy away he should've done it as soon as he saw the old man blindfold the boy and tell him to fuck him. He had already seen that the old man was manipulating the boy and even knew the old man was only going to do worse things to him as he himself warned the boy as much... When he saw the arrangement turn over into rape, he himself being the rapist, he should've done what he just did and got him out of there. He raped him instead. Even if he was falling for him, he didn't know at that point.
So... From what i understand, that "wet dream" was real? It seemed like Sungmoo admitted to it shortly after in the bathroom when he was talking with Haeyoon. He said something along the lines of "you were just all over me when i touched you". if so, why the hell is he being so distant now? And he's sleeping with some chick? I kinda think that maybe it's one of those "i wont actually have sex with him till he is an adult" type things, which would be admirable i guess, if he hadn't molested him in his sleep... HE turned their relationship sexual and is now not letting Haeyoon touch him and wasn't good enough in hiding that woman so now Haeyoon knows about her. Rather than explain when Haeyoon confronted him about her he just lied and said he didn't sleep with her. Maybe he is sleeping with her so he wont touch Haeyoon before he gets older? Idk. I feel sorry for Woojie though, it looks like Haeyoon plans to use him to make Sungmoo jealous, i bet he plans for Sungmoo to walk in. Or maybe Sungmoo walks in on accident, but Haeyoon had been planning to tell Sungmoo after the deed was done all along? He is still only thinking about Sungmoo despite spending so much time with Woojie lately, so i don't see him wanting to have sex with Woojie BECAUSE it's Woojie, i can only imagine its so he can go up to Sungmoo and tell him "hey, i had sex with this guy" to get a reaction out of him since he's been acting so distant. Part of me wants him to fall for Woojie, Woojie really seems to love him and that tsun character is really cute. I love how he tries to look cool for Haeyoon and instead of just talking he's all aggressive at first. You could tell he was just embarrassed. Really cute. Especially when he told Haeyoon to give him his hand. When he chickened out after proposing sex too, that was so cute/funny. "Hey, have you ever done it before? Se-SEX! You wanna try it with me? ... I'm just kidding. Kidding". LOL. You can very clearly see that now that he's become comfortable enough to talk with Haeyoon regularly that he's actually "courting" him in his own way. He talks about how strong he is to look cool, gives him motorcycle rides, gives him kisses and gets him alone to just talk about stuff. He's very direct in how he feels too, he says "there is something about you that drives people wild" while blushing. It's very realistic, you can see the youthful awkwardness of a virgin trying to court his crush. Right now i like Woojie WAY more than Sungmoo, but when i take a breath and put my irritation with him aside, i see that the story portrays him in a bad light on purpose, i fell for it too. Think about it? What has Sungmoo really done(talking specifically about post-"wet dream", when they're in a relationship. I'm speaking about what he's doing wrong as a lover)? He's just refusing to have sex with a minor. It's because Haeyoon is so upset about it that its so easy to get irritated at Sungmoo on his behalf. He is really making Haeyoon very insecure. That paired with Haeyoon's angst over his brother makes him super negative. But as i mentioned above, HE(Sungmoo) seems to be the one that took their relationship to a sexual level, i don't think it's that he doesn't want Haeyoon, it seems like it might be the age. The woman might just be there to curb his desires till Haeyoon comes of age. If he was just playing with Haeyoon he wouldn't be refusing offered penetration and not letting Haeyoon at least get him off. I think he had meant to hold off entirely, but i guess gave in when he saw Haeyoon sleeping? Now their relationship is sexual, but he feels guilty and doesn't want it to be till later? The compromise is that he gets Haeyoon off when he's horny since he feels he needs to take responsibility for the slip up that resulted in the next step being taken? Maybe one day we'll see... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
This new guy's so annoying... after waiting a damn century through nothing but miscommunication and reused plot devices Kang Jinha and Siwon FINALLY got together just for this annoyance to come out of nowhere... I'm still open to the new guy getting a story of his own, but find someone else... They already fell in love and now you're going out of your way to be an asshole and try to steal someone else's love... He has literally kidnapped and imprisoned Siwon now, i don't get how people can still defend liking him... I still like the IDEA of him getting another man and us getting a 2nd story, but you have people here saying the like HIM... For what? All he's done is come in and try to steal someone else's boyfriend after it took so long for them to get together and now he had kidnapped him... I think too many people let their loins interfere with their opinions... If you thought it was hot, fine, but say THAT instead of that you like HIM. There is nothing likeable about him, he's just hot. Great tease porn though? I hate cheating though so it's irritating seeing someone messing with something that isn't theirs. It'd be one thing if Siwon was a cheater, but hes been rejecting him and saying no... If Siwon and Kang Jinha weren't doing great and they looked like they might break up with Siwon possibly being open to other people then MAYBE i'd understand, but honestly it's just the same miscommunication shit as ever that they could resolve by talking and they're both still clearly in love... The guy's a third wheel at this point, a forceful 3rd wheel that doesn't know his place or take no for an answer. Not in a sexy way either, its creepy, he just waited till Siwon fell asleep to come in and play with his nipples... I'm assuming he's tied up and that candle is a stimulant... Ugh... Just go away.
I agree with you so much, I don't see anything likable about his character ether. He's always been an asshole and he deserves to suffer for all he's done, I never liked the Chinese guy. He can fuck the hell off and leave his and Jinha's romance alone.
I'm so glad the story took this angle and didn't leave Mohkwa in the dust! Chan actually loves him now! Whoo~ Now it's just a matter of teaching him social interaction. These chapters really make me look back and feel more patient with Chan now, i hadn't realized to what EXTENT he was disconnected. He is like a literal child, he acts on emotions and has no filter, he doesn't even have words for the emotions he feels! He didn't know what jealousy was and even when Ji told him, he didn't know what it looked like in practice. He had to SEE Mohkwa jealous to truly understand it. Same with saying "i love you", he didn't realize that saying that would make Mohkwa happy, Ji had to tell him to say it and he didn't think about wanting Mohkwa to say it back till Mohkwa said it and it made him happy. There are A LOT of things that he doesn't realize are insensitive and it's just a matter of teaching him now. I'm glad Mohkwa is being bold now, he is actively teaching Chan the things that aren't okay, both as a person and as a lover. I loved that he told Chan to not kiss Ji anymore or say he "likes" him anymore. This turned SO fluffy, i loved it. Can't wait for Ji and Beom's story. Ji is going to be such a fiery uke, i loved how he kicked Beom's ass with his martial arts. I'm so glad Ji just ended up being a parental figure to Chan~ It wasn't LOVE he was looking for that entire time, it was his mom!

It's clearly Xuan's other stone making him act like that... It didn't look like it was a drug to me, what drug leaves you completely coherent mentally, but makes you react exactly how the guy wants you to? It was just TOO convenient to be a drug, he was coherent mentally and saying he doesn't want it, it was like his mind was watching his body do other things. Could've been a "2nd stone dream", or maybe the 2nd stone was effecting him in real life. It's power, in practice, might be to project what the user wants onto his target and make them act accordingly? WOW, makes you wonder what Xuan's even doing here at this point if it was Donghun that spurred Jinha into action... It wasn't any of Xuan's actions, those just pushed them apart, it was Donghun saying how Siwon said Jinha is special to him that got Jinha moving. If Xuan's ONLY purpose was to break them apart so this right now could happen, then he was LITERALLY just introduced for porn... He came in so we could see kinky shit being done to Siwon... Guess Jinha just didn't fit the bill there? Since he wouldn't want to smack Siwon's chest with that thing and lick all over it? -vomit- Such a clear attention grab... "The soft porn scenes in S 1 were popular, so i'll put the story on hold and literally just plop down a random second stone/3rd MC that weren't at all foreshadowed so it can eventually lead to kinky shit". Guess it's just a porn arc with no effect on the actual story?
