I love how real the relationship feels, don't get me wrong, i understand how it might not be easy to find someone willing (and even asking) to cook for you everyday as that kind of diligence is impressive, but even the lack of reality in that is blown over with the reasoning for it. It's actually a really good manga so far (only 2 chapters so far), it's just really... bittersweet? More on the bitter side, but definitely a tinge of sweet there. The couples are both so fluffy which makes it tragic how things end up. The first couple made me sad because it's like they finally realized and then had to just kinda gamble on whether or not they'd ever meet again. The second chapter had the same feel as the first chapter, only with a slightly more bitter end, at least in the first chapter we don't really know the rest which gives us hope for them while as the 2nd chapter shows us him going to forget and it's heartbreaking. There was one thing that confused me about the 2nd chapter, the whole "i'll kill you" thing, so was he planning to forget or was he planning to eventually come back and "kill" him (in other words turn him) so they can be together? Both chapters seem to focus on failed love and hope for the future?

I don't think so, since (fun fact) sarcasm isn't really a thing in Japan the way it is in the West. I mean, they understand ironic language, but they don't regularly use it as a part of normal conversation or even as a rhetorical tool. It's just seen as really rude and hurtful pretty much all the time, which seems weird for routinely sarcastic Westerners (especially the French lol).
