I think Carrot is being presented as "the naive/adorable/energetic/spoiled little sister", and it's fitting with the siblings/brotherly interactions of the straw hats. Even Luffy seems more mature than her, which is funny lol

No, Misumi was married for a half year, but then his wife died, and I think he was married to Amou's mother, since they talk about going to visit his mother's grave..

I think Ryuuzaki's woman is the woman whom we have seen before. I mean besides her there is only one other female, Doumeki's sister, in the story so far (unless if you count the random naked women)..

Oh I can't tell you how much I wanted someone to make a topic about those two! Now, I know I am not the only one who believes there is something between them ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
I have been shipping them since day one, to be honest! I simply love their chemistry and relationship and in my mind they look a little bit like an older version of Yashiro and Doumeki (well, with probably the uke and seme roles reversed). I really hope they end up together!

But now that i have read the comment i feel like i would like it

Well, I have to admit that I am addicted to spin-offs (sometimes, I enjoy them way more than the main stories). Because I am a hopeless romantic, I get super thrilled whenever all the characters in the yaoi I am reading get their own happy endings! That's why, from the moment a new side character that I like, appears, I immediately feel the need to ship him with someone (and that's what yaoi does to your brain, kids). And for Misumi-san was Amou-san.
Rather than me believing there was something between them, it was me wishfully hoping that there might be in the future. Then I found out that they are living together and I stumbled upon a Yoneda Kou's interview, where she said that she is considering writing an extra for them, but just their backstory and nothing more, and I started shipping them even more.
But because that interview was approximately a year ago, after reading the last chapter, I do believe there might be a chance she started thinking about making them a real couple in the end. I really really really hope so!!! I love the idea of those two together!
p.s. the one I am struggling with, is Ryuuzaki. So far I do like him but cannot find anyone for him (￣∇￣") I hope this woman who was mentioned, can be his "one" and that both of them survive and be a happy couple (it's too late for me to be normal again, I am already a hopeless case, am I?)

When I first read some random translations of the chapter, I thought the same thing and got scared. But with him saying things against Hirata to Misumi-san (please, correct me if I am wrong, but that's what I got so far) and while doubting that Yoneda Kou would make her fans dislike a side character that up to now, for 21 chapters, had been very likeable I started thinking that he meant something else.
So now, my main guess is that Misumi-san used to date Amou-san's mother, when the latter was still young, and that Amou-san started having a Oedipus complex for him. Being still a kid, he wished for Misumi-san to marry his mother, so that he can became his dad and live together. Then I am guessing his mother died, and Misumi-san took him under his wing. So they ended up living together, but Amou-san never completely fulfilled his original wish, to became his son, aka someone more important and special than just another subordinate.
And that leaves us, with Amou-san not being related with Misumi-san, still admiring him and having feelings for him, with Misumi-san failing to see him as his son, but singling him out from the rest, so their only and best choice is to become a lovey-dovey couple! I took it waaay too far, didn't I??? ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Also did you notice in that page? Amou is missing the tip on his pinky finger... meaning he fucked up before and he stills remain next to Misumi or rather Misumi still trust him.. and also its the same for Doumeki... so similar right?

Ahahahha that some deep thought you have put in there but just think he is saying hirats mom as mother cause he is used to it and he just wants amousan to acknowledge him as his son because of all this years closeness and then he is saying he cant be his son cause he has developed some feelings for amousan thats what i am thinking :3

I looked at this panel the first time, and tried to notice if he cut his pinky finger too and thought he didn't, cause I thought when they cut it, they cut it from the root (and that his finger is just drawn in a way that we cannot see it fully)... But now, that I am rethinking about it, it does look like it's cut, but just from the second joint and up, so maybe you are right!
Actually, I really hope that's the case! Cause, then it will be like Doumeki, as you said, and that would be kind of awesome (▰˘◡˘▰)

About what you said, what made me (over)think that they are talking about Amou-san's mother was because he thanked Misumi-san when he said he wanted to visit the grave. Why would he thanked Misumi-san if they were talking about Hirata's mom?
AAAHHH! I am super confused (and curious) now! I guess we have to be patient and we will find out eventually... As long as there is hope for those two to become an item, I am ok with any theory, so (⌒▽⌒)

Well, I don't remember her exact reply, cause I read it long time ago, but she said that Misumi-san and Amou-san are together for more than 20 years, and that she is thinking writing an extra about their past but not an extra for a future romance ┗( T﹏T )┛
It did break my heart but confused me in the same time... Cause as you said, considering writing the backstory about two side characters, must mean that she implies there is something between them. After all, this is a yaoi manga and she never includes something pointless in her work, so I doubt she will put an effort to write an extra about two single hot side characters, without knowing that her fans will automatically ship them, right???? Maybe she meant that she is willing to write about their past but not about their future, leaving it open ended?
Even so, it's been more than a year since that interview (and with fans asking her about them) so maybe she changed her mind and decided to go all the way with those two. Cause up to then, she gave me the impression that it was still a vague idea but that scene in the last chapter shows a lot of strong feelings (way more than just two friends) and that the whole concept about those two is more stable in her mind now.
She is one of my ultimate favorites, so I have faith in her, that she doesn't give us so many signs just to break our hearts in the end! So, fingers crossed that our ship will sail!!!

The closest thing to sugar anyone is ever going to get is Natsuki Kuze and Atsumu Kusakabe's relationship as they try to fix their codependency problem as they try to have a relationship. Sadly that's the only one I can see at the moment. ╮(￣^￣)╭
