Help please!

This is a japanese manga, shounen ai or yaoi. This a plot scene that happened in the later chapter -- The uke was given a protective charm by a yokai woman (i think it was a strand of hair?) who was later killed? The seme sees the charm on the uke and mistakenly believes the uke is to blame for her death, causing a misunderstanding. The seme takes the charm with him. While leaving the uke’s house, he realizes the charm was meant for protection and rushes back to find the uke lying on the floor, being attacked by yokai. The seme then intervenes to save him.

Does someone know the title?

It's my first time to stay awake the entire night with no sleep.

I had a 2 hour nap earlier and prior to napping it was my first time to drink two shots of soju.

Anxiety is making it bad because my thoughts wont stop and it scares me what if im unable to sleep again. My friends are all asleep and i had no one to talk to. What do i do :(

    Neko-chan September 15, 2020 8:19 pm

what do you mean unable to sleep again? like, develop insomnia? alcohol does not cause insomnia. on the contrary, it helps you sleep but with less quality of rest. IF you do get insomnia, it has nothing to do with those two shots of soju. you may be unable to sleep because you're either not used to napping during the day or you napped late into the day.

    BobaTea_Nguyen:)) September 15, 2020 8:21 pm

I have had this problem before too! :(

    -What helped me to sleep-
    - calming or sleeping music of waves
^It helps calm you down and make you kinda sleepy?

    - Maybe try writing in a journal or just a piece of paper about your feelings or stress
^I try to do this every night and it works!

    - Try not to take naps in the day because it can ruin your sleep schedule and you will go to bed late
^I rarely take naps now :)

    - If you need someone to talk to, feel free to message me anytime! :3

hopefully I helped in some way!

this is nothing to be worried about. I sometimes go up to 5 days without sleep during exam season (but I've trained myself to do this every semester) and sometimes I slip up if I start reading a manga and go a night or two without sleep as well. Nothing to worry about. You will see that some times ur body needs less sleep and sometimes it needs more. It's not a machine that is programmed to always sleep the same amount of hours each night. Just let ur mind wander off, look around in the room, write something in notes on your phone.. maybe about ur friends sleeping habits or idk. and if u don't like that maybe read manga or think about what u want to do the next days. and you'll see that u will be able to make it through 24 or maybe even 48h without sleep and not really feel different. of course at some point u will feel the sleep deprivation and ur Body will start to "shut down". Means you will probably go earlier to sleep. (for me it's usually like this: 4-5 days without any sleep followed by a 16-20h nap starting at around noon lol). But if u are concerned and u have free time tomorrow just take a noon or afternoon nap. Even if ur body tells u he doesn't need it at that time u can force him by laying in bed with closed curtains and putting all phones, laptops etc away and just shut ur eyes. At some point u will sleep.
Just relax. Everything is and will be fine. <3

Thank u so much this really helps. Im in college but i never experienced this kind of sleep deprivation because it's the anxiety that is keeping me awake. I sometimes get 3-4 hrs of nap when studying but i never fail to fall asleep quickly. from what you let on, I don't see anything concerning. more like, the problem is your anexiety and nothing else. I think you should fist acknowledge that there's nothing to worry about and realise that the problem is the anxiety. once you know that as a fact, you can start working on it.

Im a girl and a fujoshi, and im straight. I don’t read yuri because i feel uncomfortable with it as a straight woman,(i respect lesbians and BI) but i wholeheartedly support yaoi and i love seeing two guys together and i even ship celebrities. Am i the only one like this? Ive only encountered fujoshis that are either BI or homosexual in the internet, so im wondering if there’s someone out there like me.

Right in the kokoro March 8, 2019 2:07 pm

Im straight and Love BL. I dont enjoy readjng Yuri as I do Yaoi, but I can still read them if I choose to. Its just not as enjoyable for me. I dont fantasize about celebrities though lol.

Let me just say my problem is not yuri... it’s the female characters writing problem. Like how should I put this into better words...

Yknow how there’s a point to why the population of Zootopia is animals and there is no point in Sing why the population is animals? Yeah, yaoi (male character) is the point and yuri (female character) is for gag.

I’m waiting to see the female character writing problem fixed... don’t throw Emma from Neverland here because she is one gives no perspective as the lead female character in her story. It could as well be a little 11 year old boy and the story would’ve be the same!

And that is the problem with writing female characters. They can be replace or remove and the story would still be there FUCKing SAME!

Sorry if anyone got trigger. I’m a bisexual fujoshi and that’s my opinion.

That's really insightful and a good point! Come to think of it, its's true for other media as well. You got me thinking... @Anonymous

Exactly! Like for the yaoi, the usual approach is how the straight guy might want to marry a woman and have kids due to sociatal standards and what it means to be a man. It’s a real journey.

Whereas I have yet to see a yuri where a girl question whether or not her straight partner is satisfied sexually without the penis. Or that the partner chose to stay with the girl who can’t open a jar for the partner.

Or how girls worry about their menstruel cycle because it’s a real thing... but don’t ever pop up anywhere other than for gags? Which is still rare?

Especially when omégas go through heats in yaoi sooooo and it’s what made the omega verse so popular. Lol.

I knew that men can come from the ass but women. When straight girls read yaoi, who do they imagine themselves as, the giver or the receiver or no one? If the answer is no one, why they read yaoi then cause this kind of story meant to pleasure dick and asshole which aren't women's weak point?

    I Thot You Was a Toad June 4, 2017 2:32 am

Anna is right. Piercings take much longer than 3 days to heal. 2 weeks is a minimum for the earring to remain in the ear. Some technicians recommend leaving them in for a month, in order to keep the hole from closing over. It is quite all right to rotate the post or hoop in the ear during that time, especially while you swab it with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution or isopropyl alcohol. Just don't remove it. Peroxide is a little better than rubbing alcohol since it tends to cauterize the skin cells which stops plasma in the wound from suppurating and helps seal the wound from dirt, bacteria and other septic matter. Also, rubbing alcohol tends to thin the blood, which means it won't easily stop bleeding. The reason you rotate the earrings is to keep your plasma cells from sticking your ears to them.

There are 2 other issues you need to be aware of: (1) potential metal allergies, and (2) infection. Some people are allergic to metal, even surgical steel. If this is the case in your situation, the earrings will be a constant source of irritation, even after many weeks. But there are likely to be other signs if it is an allergy. For example, metal bracelets, watches and necklaces will cause the same sort of rashes. You can try experimenting with other metals, like 24 carat gold, but there usually isn't a thing you can do except remove the earrings and let the holes close.

If it's an infection, that means something septic has entered the wound. The treatment will depend on the severity of infection, but you don't want it to enter your bloodstream where it can travel to your organs or other parts of your body, so treat it seriously. You will be able to tell it's an infection if it is angrily red, painfully swollen and oozes pus, which is a thick yellow or greenofish liquid. Start by attempting to clean up as much of the infection as possible with rubbing alcohol, iodine or peroxide. Soak a wad of cotton batten in the antiseptic and gently rub it into the wound every hour until you cleared away as much of the pus, blood and biowaste as possible. Keep the area around the piercings meticulously clean and dry. If it doesn't clear up after a couple of days, or it suddenly starts getting worse, go see a doctor and get a prescription for oral antibiotics. If those don't work, you may need to book an appointment at a clinic to have the infection lanced and cleaned out.

I just recently saw this tag in AO3 when i was search for some fanfictions, eren centric, kuroko centric, what does it mean? is it a role? position? googled it up and it means in a center, still confused :/

    tokidoki May 9, 2017 1:46 pm

Eurocentric means surrounding or centered on Europe, so Eren centric means centered on (or about) Eren - it mearly means the main part of the story is about or from the point of view of Eren.

does any of your family know that you read BL mangas? i recently dreamed of my sister accidentally finding out i read BL mangas and it got me have this weird feeling after i woke up, but srsly none of them know but my friends know and they're totally chill with it, and i have a friend who reads BL mangas too and we're really close we recommend fanfics to each other, she's more on fanfictions than mangas though. Im a fujoshi for 3 years now and still none of my family members know.

My family doesn't know, but they don't even understand what mangas actually are - they think I read comics for kids :D My friends know that I read shounen-ai, but I deny reading yaoi, even in front of those who read mangas themselves ^^" Last year, I went to a comic con and I admitted to reading Viewfinder and Ten Counts, but I also told my friend they are the only yaoi mangas I read because of the incredible storyline :D

I'm a secret fujoshi too...I'm absolutely sure that if I were to ask my parents opinion on gay marriage etc, they might misinterpret and think that I am gay. That won't be good for me cuz my parents are actually really uncomfortable about gay people/marriage :'(

    And my friends know too!
The only ones who don't know are my roommates... I didn't tell them because, funny fact: they are 3, one straight, one bi and one lesbian (sounds like the start of a very bad joke), and when I heard them say it I was like, okay, so they're open on LGBT+ things, and I told them I'm asexual... And they were like "what, that doesn't exist, you just didn't find the good one" (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ So I'm definitely not telling them I read gay porn =_="

Literally no one knows I read yaoi/BL manga. Not my family, norm my friends. It just feels weird talking about stuff like that, especially since we don't be rly communicate with each other in my family. I'm also scared that my friends would think im "weird" and feel isolated from the class...(although I know my classmates likes yaoi and she doesn't mind other people knowing)

I think my brother suspects, i didn't tell him though. And, a college friend ccurrently in Japan. If only the others know that the serious, career driven, and chemistry nerd is secretly a fujoshi. They'd definitely think I need a shrink. LOL

    ZoSan February 26, 2017 4:18 am

My entire family knows (I think my dad does too lol) after a few years of not making it obvious and no one really cares. Two of my sisters and one of my brothers read BL and I watch some BL anime with my mom. We are a pretty open family but my Father is a bit old school but he doesn't really say anything when my mom jokes about me watching gay porn. ( ̄∇ ̄")
