Yaoi readers: BUT WHO'S THE SEME AND THE UKE????
Like seriously. Stop.
Maybe their holding hands is a sign who's uke and who's seme

Okay just read the raws for chapter 36 and.......g o d damnit i love them ㅠㅠ i don't want them to have conflict ever ㅠㅠ they're the cutest and i want them to be lovey dovey always. this is one of the very few unproblematic omegaverse BL available, i hope it will continue to be non problematic *crossing fingers
Sorry but.... why would anyone find this so touching or cute that they cried? Which part of this is cute??? Hyunsung was traumatized so much he nearly killed himself and there are people who find it cute that he stayed with his abuser???
The story started out interesting but the conclusion is just like other toxic bl mangas out there. Like.... why put a "fluffy" scene like that at the end? It would be more realistic if they ended up together in a very toxic, very dark and abusive relationship, because that's what they are. Hyuk stalked, blackmailed, raped and traumatized hyunsung, while hyunsung had stockholm syndrome. They both only stay with each other because of codependency--why paint it as something sweet?????
And why would anyone want to be in hyunsung's shoes, i can never understand.
Stop glorifying toxic and unhealthy relationship, folks.
Damn, i regret not reading this earlier! It's so freakin funny and lighthearted yet my chest hurt all the time i was reading it. It was good. The dialogue is so well written. Uda is a true champion and the uncles are adorable.
I agree with some people who are pissed with shiba, especially with how he treated tokizou even after realizing that he was in love with him the whole time (going through with the marriage, making tokizou write the best man speech, etc). But at the same time, i understand him too. It's not easy to dive in new waters when you're old. It must be scary, realizing that your bestfriend has been in love with you (not to mention for 25 whole years), and shiba wasn't gay in the first place. People are saying that he didn't make any sacrifice, but i think he did. I think people are too used to have straight characters in fiction to "turn gay" with no problem whatsoever that they forget how hard it is. It must have taken a lot of courage for him to ask tokizou to be in a relationship with him. Gee, it's hard enough to ask anyone to be in a committed relationship with you, harder still when it's your bestfriend. Not that i approve of his ignorance, but i appreciate him trying to make things right for tokizou (who is the biggest cinnamon roll ever, i love him). The stakes are high here, and i think those two uncles did their best.
Kudos to the author for writing something pretty realistic and fresh for the BL community, and for the translator who really did a great job. This is one of the best translation i've read for mangas.
Cmiiw but tamaki seems asexual? Or maybe repulsed by sex, or at least not interested currently. Either ways, i hope shii doesn't pressure him to have sex when he's not ready, or god forbid, rape him...
I-I don't think he would... he's different... but y'know, you're right, we can only hope for the best and prepare for... the worst.
Yeah I kinda instantly lose interest if one of the people forces themselves on the other, maybe because I've never experienced that desperate feeling to understand it. But I still really like the both of them. Good paving work, sensei.
Y'know, I took my sweet time but I'm all caught up, up to chapter 5.5!
I was thinking, reading the chapter from Tamaki's pov that I really wouldn't forgive Shii if he jumps him, after all. It would be too much for Tamaki, and in their case, wrong. He shouldn't have to handle this. But I have faith in Shii! I'm sure it wouldn't go that way. He's a pretty great guy, and their relationship is more than that.
I do question this faith, because I've read Hishakaishindo, I have this feeling of uncertainty... but Shii is really completely different from the protagonist of Hishakaishindo. Let's give him that.
I really hope so too! I like what i've been reading so far but atst i have an uneasy feeling near the end, particularly with how he said he "finally got to kiss and hug tamaki". But yeah, i hope it won't turn out like that. I guess i've just been let down too many times by bl mangas who put non-con sexual scenes out of nowhere that i have trust issues now lmao.
Yeah. If we look closely at Tamaki's words in chapter 12 (volume 3) "I said "I don't like it." I said the same thing to my mom a long time ago.", it looks like we won't be getting ace representation after all. And he was smiling in that panel. I'm kinda afraid of what's to come.
I wish we could get more of hanada and chouno's story... i never enjoyed reading bdsm mangas because it's usually full of rape and dubcon. But this one actually has a proper bdsm etiquette where the kinks were negotiated and there was proper aftercare. It's not easy finding mangas like this... in fact this is the first time i read one where the sexual acts are consensual, discussed, and treated with respect (instead of the dominant ones forcing his ways to the submissive). Granted chouno is not actually an S, but he's willing to consider his partner's preference in bed. Same goes with hanada, and i think their relationship is really beautiful to read.

God, i hate the doctor. I hate rape with all of my being, and it really disappoints me because tge manhwa was doing pretty much unproblematic and i was anticipating the alpha/alpha couple. It's like a whiplash seeing how Dojun was treated, after whole bunch of chapters about how caring and respectful Taehan towards Doyun is.
