Well idk exactly, they just said that yeonjae was possessive then somewhere in the middle of the novel he realized his feeling and confessed his feeling but mc rejected but anyway in the end mc accepted him. The end.
Now we can pretty much know what the basic structure of this bl is. And I don't think the manhwa is going to be any different from the novel unless some miracle happen.

Well there is a lot of black haired top already so personnally as a blond haired individual i feel good if you tell me blond haired are being portayed also as tops :-D it's a breeze of fresh air for me !! _ otherwise it's quite crazy it feels like blond haired are only allowed to bottom x-) it's not wonderful believe me. I don't think I mind the colors of the hair as long as its suit the characters. BL such as Guiding hazard and codename anastasia where bottoms have black hair, I really like them. But everyone have their own preference, I guess. For me, I prefer older & mature tops and cute & younger bottoms. At first the ML is a sword expert ,ruler in a quagmire of political crisis or have powers others crave for and he later meets the strong FL and later have children and there is the issue "the child they get " which are most probably Girls or children where there is a girl and a boy amongst them the girl is a swordmaster just like the ML but the boy becomes a painter or a nerdy or literally a flower guy just like his Mother the FL....
I understand S. Korean society just like other Asian Society has a deep rooted cultural issue and that's the male child being more preferred over the female child but we're talking about a fantasy novel or a historical novel based on medieval era with the ML being the strongest and influential but vulnerable due to multiple fronts issues in this era the idea they're pushing is really awkward for me..
The nobles at that period still preferred more children and more manly ones ie. Boys are needed ..

So i read the novel almost 2-3 years ago, that's why I may not remember all the plot but all I want to say is just don't fall for ml killer(literally) looks. At the time when I was reading this, the unmature me thought its the best bl plot ever but now I have different opinion. So spoilers ahead....
-> mc just constantly going to be raped and blackmailed by ml.
-> mc was attacked two times and was in death bed.
-> mc gonna suffer from Stockholm syndrome.
-> mc just simply forgot about his revenge.
-> mc ended his revenge by visiting his so called best friend grave and basically telling her that she was a delulu person (which she was) and ml never even know her existence. (Ok but bitch you end up with your best friend's crush right? Just imagine you are dead and your best friend came to visit your grave and telling you that he/she become bf/gf of your crush. Idk about you guys but I will come out of my freaking grave and I'm gonna drag that bitch with me to the hell. But I digress.)
-> ml also committed some horrible crime (murder) and forced someone else to take the blame. And he just got away with all this cuz he is ml , duh and he also have support from his rich family.
-> ml just excuses his action because he have some mental illness where he can't distinguish what is wrong and what is right.( let me tell you guys never let anyone hurt or harm you and others , just because he/she suffering from a mental illness [though it may differ from cases to cases] )
-> ml expressed his so called feelings by talking nonsense (what the hell I was thinking at that time, I thought it's the best romantic proposal ever)
-> now that I think, mc was also a stalker. He just needed an excuse. And that excuse come with his friend's death.
-> you know what they both deserve each other. Both the main characters are unlikable (though my younger self thought something else but at that time also I never liked the ml, whatsoever)
