The Duke was fine sleeping while at war, so the reason for his insomnia must be that his desk work isn't exhausting him and he ends up with too much energy. I recommend several hours of physical activity a day. Instead of candles and tea, he needs to pick up a football.

Yeah usually in these stories we see dukes training, but I haven't seen it happen in this one yet, which is why I thought it was something missing and he just does paperwork all day.

Ch20 makes the Mc seem so heartless and selfish too. He literally looks at a news headline of someone being stabbed by a stalker and thinks "why would the ml run to help someone like that instead of looking at me? :("
Ch26, the FL is crossing the line trying to pressure the ml to be intimate with her. Her going through stuff doesn't mean she's entitled to someone's affection. She needs normal friends to support her, or a partner that actually cares about her, or family. It's sad she's alone. But don't become a molestor..
I would forget the "he's your brother" or "family" stuff because it's too soon and there are too many unknowns about the past. Her fearing change isn't healthy though. So maybe she can see him as an acquaintance to start with? Then over the years she can remember more and make a more informed choice on if she should see him as part of her life?
Yeah I agree but the part about her memory is the issue her brain is blocking it out and I have a large hunch that it's something to do with that dream he had where he came to find her laying in blood they both must've faced so much trauma and clearly after the separation she completely blocked him out most likely too much pain there and on top of that maybe as a child she also felt that ripping pain of having her brother snatched from her the only person she felt she could face the abuse with that she blocked it to protect herself from further pain but I also do believe it would be best for her to face those lost memories for her to heal and grow
Yes it's absolutely going to be hard, and shouldn't be addressed all at once. But maybe bit by bit now that she's older and more independent with a better support network, she'll be able to face it.

I love absurd comedies like this, and the FL is dumb and crazy enough that I can suspend my disbelief that she can still be alive after what she does. Hiding in the bushes and insulting the Duke with signs was hilarious.
