The author really has no idea how kids are like but this isn't it. These kids are FIVE. The should be dumb and selfish assholes. Kids don't talk that way. The way they behave is as if they were ten but the level of what they understand as if they were two.

Well, they didn’t trust him. Until they were given food. Yeah, it’s bad logic on the kids part to trust the stranger after they are being well taken care of, but they’re kids. Just because they’re only 5 doesn’t mean they can’t have well developed brains and don’t understand the concept of selflessness and understanding. If children are raised correctly, you’d be surprised at how their brain grows. Don’t underestimate kids. Remember, we were all one at one time, and some of us just “grow up” faster than others.

I have four younger siblings, I know what I'm talking about, don't worry. Yeah, kids are often severely underestimated on how much they understand but also overestimated. It's a bit difficult, but especially when it comes to social stuff they're not good. Especially at five. It's not just that they went "well maybe he's not a bad person after all" (the thought process of that is already so not kid like tho...) but their general behavior. These kids are portrayed as socially advanced but cognitively not, while it's usually the other way around. Kids wouldnt have any big thoughts on this kidnapper maybe being good but crying for their parent. And they most likely wouldn't notice their parent was unwell, and if they'd be smart enough to understand that it's not constipation.
Kids are just so often portrayed as these ditzy cute dumb yet socially smart and innocent beings while they're not at all. This is a thing most manwhas do and it annoys the fuck out of me. Real kids are already annoying but manwha kids are like dumb little pets, maybe even worse

Honestly, both Yubora and Taeri are yucky and pushy. They're both kinda shitty, but Yubora way less. We don't know everything this far but from what we've seen Taeri has been pretty shitty to Geumhee. I'm all for Yubora being endgame. Geumhee spent idk 15 years with Taeri amd never felt anything, even after her confession. Yubora flirts with her for two days and she's just "whoops I guess I'm gay" and fucking sleeps with her.
I know Taeri is gonna be alive and endgame 99% likely but I just find her so boring and annoying. Yubora please shoot her if she crawls outta some hole again

Lmao Yubora literally used Geumhee most vulnerable moment to have sex with her and even admitted she let Taeri die because she felt that was the only way she could get Geumhee, she’s a whole creep. And yeah indeed both Taeri and Yubora are shitty people but saying Taeri sexually harassed Geumhee for years is the biggest stretch ever.

No Taeri would have stopped. She pushed her to the bed & kissed to prove a point. In ch17-18, Geumhee was so happy that Taeri was alive but was afraid and panic that she might be left alone again so she was like “ok you like me and I like you too so let’s go out.” Taeri was very happy and blushed but then Geumhee killed it with her next words… kinda like date and go back to how we used to be, like friends…. So that bed scene happened to show Geumhee that she didn’t understand Taeri’s confession like she wasn’t taking it seriously. Dating would mean them sleeping together, girlxgirl. Geumhee pushed Taeri away and said she didn’t like it like that… as if she was afraid. Understandably, Geumhee’s goal in life was to marry a man and have kids, so when she was pushed down & kiss by a girl… it scared her.
Technically, Geumhee didn’t reject Taeri as a possible love interest..she was new to the yuri world and panic. As a result, her reaction hurt Taeri. Geumhee then told Taeri that if she really likes her she could have waited until she’s ready. Taeri walked away and said I’m done waiting (girl been waiting for what 10+ years).
That was why after Geumhee thought that Taeri died and was vulnerable (maybe drunk too) and end up sleeping with Yubora… She reflected and thought.. hey sleeping with a girl isn’t bad after all, the world didn’t end…and then she was like “I am sorry Taeri. I made it hard for you.”
So yeah Yubora took advantage of her and made her realized that having sex with a girl is not so scary and bad.. lol

This incredibly homophobic and misogynistic. Taking the bottom role and "being the woman" is always seen as something embarrassing and emasculating. First: There's no woman in an mlm relationship. Second: if taking the woman's role is so embarrassing, why don't you stop having sex with them, huh? It's so so bad to do what they do but you still want them to do it? Why is everything related to women in some way embarrassing and emasculating? Being a bottom has nothing to do with women or with your personality, it's just a sexual preference.
No shame on the author, they haven't given me the impression that they think that way, this is just an incredibly common theme and often played as a joke and I really don't like it

Just bc he knew her doesn't mean he's not a stalker. Also bbgirl, you're a homophobe. Why tf are you even pretending to be a lesbian?? And why would a sympathetic man be gay??
Also, that was borderline rape "I can't hold baxk" ohhh maybe we'll have to send you back to kindergarten so you learn that you can't just steal the apple bc you wanna eat the, them. She's so not feminist, it's painful. One guy who's kinda nice to you qnd you're throwing away everything you believed?

Ah, the misogyny. Fuck off you soldiers

I'm guessing the misogyny is either from them blaming her from something her father has done, therefore making her an extension of her father instead of an individual human being. But even then it's a stretch. If they were hostile than it would be another conversation but they seem to just be uncomfortable.
The only misogyny is being petty that she isn't pregnant. Like men shouldn't speak about women's ability to get pregnant or the state of their pregnancy.

Yes, I'm talking about the pregnancy mainly. Being so mad bc she hasn't done her "only job" like fuck off. But the whole being uncomfortable bc of her father is also low key misogynistic. Women are incredibly often held accountable for the actions of their family members and men in general, despite not being at fault

Yeah, considering the setting, I'm assuming the society is very sexist, or at least more sexist than now, and that women would have little control when it comes to big political decisions such as sending a troop to kill a dragon. So blaming her is unreasonable, but I can't help but find it understandable. If I don't like someone, I'm not going to be uncomfortable around people associated with that person, and considering the knights aren't be outright hostile I would say it's more of a natural response than blatant misogyny.

Dude her "only job" was managing the castle, NOT getting pregnant. Soldiers never cared about childbearing at all. She was the lady of the castle and didn't even show up for years despite them risking their own lives for her father, of course they're hella angry.
Also, @Rora, it's not like they see her as an extension of her father, it's just that since she didn't went to Anatol after the wedding they assumed she didn't want to leave the rich Dukedom for the poor country of her husband and that therefore she's loyal to her father. Some of them *are* hostile to her because of this but the prejudices they have come with reasons. They'll come around with time anyway
The girl with a boyfriend is another, it's not her!! That's why she also refuses going to the amusement park the next chapter!
