People, you shouldn't give a low rating for this manga just because it has a bad ending! Think more objectively! Honestly, it was so refreshing to read a realistic psychological messed up manga without your typical tropes. Yes, I hate too how it ended, it hurts my heart and it is so frustrating! But that is my feeling after emphatizing with the characters. If I remove myself from this, I realize that the story itself was a masterpiece and the ending makes so much sense. This is Stockholm syndrome. When you are abused, you feel better if you create a relationship with the abuser. All the more so, if you had warm feelings for the abuser prior to abuse. This is human coping mechanism. People who say that it is not realistic to forgive the abuser so easily and become lovers with them, you are wrong. Stockholm syndrome is something that is frustratingly hard to overcome. It is only possible if you are strong willed and not prone to depression and anxieties - which is definitely not the case with our main character.
Honestly, this is one of the best mangas about abuse I've ever read. I won't read it again though, it hurts so much. But that only proves how good it was.

I kind of saw that in chinese webtoons characters sometimes tend to call out to each other underclassman, upperclassman, classmate and so on... But is that a must? What I'm getting at, would LiHuan call out to YuYang without a honorific of some sort since YuYang is an upperclassman, or is that unneccessary in China and he can plainly say his name?

I don't think LiHuan has EVER called YuYang by his name throughout the entire series so far. I've seen some call Yuyang "学长" which is sort of something you refer to your upperclassman as. Of course, it's to show respect but you don't always use it especially to someone you're close to (I'm not entirely sure since I don't go to a Chinese school even though I live in a Chinese country). Lin Xiang (in Guang Xiang) also calls Yuyang's name as it is I think, because they were pretty close.
LiHuan's a pretty straightforward person who speaks little, so I think he's not the type to call Yuyang with a honorific.... Honestly, we won't be able to tell until the next chapter!

If anything, it's interesting to learn that such honorifics still exist past the mandatory education ages. Here, it would be expected that everyone be it student or tutor is just addressed by their first name, unless they specify otherwise. I guess it makes it easier though to just call people by teacher/professor/senior/junior etc if you have forgotten their name and don't feel confident enough to admit this to them though ha.
But on the scheme of things, and relating to the apparent cultural norms, LiHuan and Yuyang are still relatively unknown to each other, maybe they have known each other only for a few weeks by this point so I would assume calling Yuyang by his first name would be too familiar, even if Lihuan is generally more plain speaking.

I've been following this comic since it debuted in lezhin, and I gotta say that from the very beginning I had a feeling that it was going to be one of the best ones out there. And I wasn't dissapointed. Really, I love the pacing, the developement, I love how we explore the character's past and their feelings are revealed like the puzzle pieces slowly coming together to form a picture. And their strong care for each other that even all those years of sabotaging their relantionship couldn't erase... I mean, you can say that Skyler still hates Yeonduk, but what about that time he beat the shit out of the bully for hitting Yeonduk and getting suspended himself? He cares for Yeonduk, even though he is trying to hate him, he still got furious when he got hurt. It really shows that Skyler's bad attitude was forced the same way Yeonduk forced himself to hate Skyler and erase all his good memories with him. It's just that Skyler is not in touch with his emotions the way Yeonduk is, probably because of his late developement as a child. Skyler feels betrayed and abandoned, so he decided to hate the one he thought was responsible for this - Yeonduk. But now if you reread the entire comic, you can pick up the slight nuances where Skyler shows genuine care, even though he tricks himself into believing he doesn't. Deep down he can't truly hate Yeonduk and deep dow he wants to care for him and be cared by him. Now all he needs is time. Like I said, Skyler is not in touch with his feelings yet, and it isn't easy to believe and accept that something he believed in for half of his life was a lie. Which I love. This is real. Not your typical BL cliche where both parties clear a 10 year misunderstanding in like 10 minutes and then they suddenly love each other again and go for sex the next instant. No. This takes time. You felt betrayed by your most loved person for years and now suddenly he says actually that was all a misunderstanding. It takes time to start trusting again, to start thinking - maybe they were telling the truth, to start racalling old memories and finding the inconsistencies in them. Please don't say things like "I can't wait for Skyler to taste his own medicine" or "I can't wait for next chapters where Skyler gets jelous because Yeonduk found other friends". Insted, we should say I can't wait for Skyler to realise that even though he's avoiding Yeonduk now, even though he was mean to him, even though Yeonduk can find new friends if he wanted to, Yeonduk still cares for him most and has Skyler's back at all times. I believe in next chapters Yeonduk will be keeping his distance from Skyler, while quietly watching over him from the sidelines. I can't wait for Skyler to realise the extent of Yeonduk's devotion.
It kind of doesn't sit well with me that our little vampire was all whiny and so hurt emotionally because he was targeted, like he was all innocent himself. I mean yeah, he killed for survival, but still. If you kill someone, you have to understand that they deserve to kill you as well. For example, I eat chicken, fish and beef. If some weird magic happened and those animals ganged up on me to kill me for eating their brethren, then I would be scared shitless, but I'd know that I deserve it and I would not hate them for it.
I guess what I don't like is that the main message was "oohhh, humans are so bad, they want to kill me even though I did nothing wrong...". Just as he was not wrong to feed on humans for survival, humans are not wrong to kill a vampire for survival.
