Did the art style get poorer or did they switch artists/tools? I swear I’m not crazy but the original couples chapters in the beginning were so well drawn but maybe it’s in my head. That’s not to say the art style is BAD now, still love everything about this. But my gay senses are tingling with a sense of decline. Thoughts?

It didn't get "poorer" as you say, I don't know if you read a lot of webtoons/webcomics, but you should know that when an artist draw their characters a lot, the art style is going unavoidably change. As the artist is getting used to draw in bigger quantity and learns to draw faster, more simple, or even add or take out elements of their style they like etc...
The artist's style simply changed a little over time. It is totally normal that between Chapter 3 and Chapter 117 it's gonna look different. Full Volume didn't start yesterday after all.
i dont see much of a difference at all, if you could elaborate on what you mean by well drawn then maybe i would see but the only changes i have noticed is that beom is less stubby and less curvy, beom used to be a phat slab of meat

Yes, I’ve read thousands on thousands since I’ve been reading since before the e version was even an option (book version used to be supreme haha). I kind of feel like you’re speaking to me like I’m a child so I’ll just try to brush over that but I do understand that over time they obviously can’t draw carbon copies but my point was that if you go back and look and the art from the beginning to now you can see a clear difference in quality. The definition of the line work and how much effort went into the details overall like the body shapes. But thank you for taking the time to subtly talk down to me lol I’m aware it didn’t start yesterday and as I said I still love everything about the manga and the art isn’t BAD just not as good as before. Also, you were polite for all intents and purposes which was nice to see.
LMAO not PHAT haha and as I mentioned in my reply above to someone else maybe I’ve just chosen a poor word choice because I’m not trying to insinuate that it’s a bad art style now it’s just not as detailed almost like the artist rushes a bit more than before. I tend to see this a lot in mangas/manhuas where the first chapters are really detailed and defined and then the later chapters are more rounded and less detailed. Almost like the difference between a promo and an actual story so it tends to bother me because I get used to seeing the faces and bodies a certain way and then they start looking a bit goofy. But I emphasize that I still LOVE the author and the story and the art it’s just not at the level it was when it started to ME in my OPINION solely haha

Yea the art style did change it’s not like the author is going to read our comments but i mean people like to kiss ass as if they will get a medal for ignoring that there as been a slight change. Usually sometimes the artist might have some complications with drawing because how much work goes into even a single chapter so it’s not unusual to see drop in quality now and again.

I noticed that too during Taeju and Dojin’s story. The art seems rushed and simplified compared to the older chapters. But it has also improved in other ways ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Well lemme clarify. I think I mainly notice changes in the art style itself. Like oh, the eyes are slightly more angled than they were before or the nose is pointier, stuff like that. I guess I don't notice the subtle changed or the changes in details but I also think I never thought to look for that stuff. Quite an interesting thought though! Makes me want to compare the first chapters to now to see if I can notice it too haha
I know someone mentioned in the bl "Payback" that the art style changed a bit, and it turns out the artist had 2 assistants helping out on the side with some chapters! Maybe its the same thing here! Cuz yeah, I agree, a little different in the art style!
