If you read this I belive you undoubtedly wanted for once a cool, badass, and competent FL for once. I know Eloise LOOKS like she is the one but she isn't. From day 1 she is shoved around by the male characters, she's basically the same level as your classic miss ditzy and innocent. Don't be fooled by her looks and her 'cool' persona because she occasionally kills people. I can tell from here she'll be infuriating to read.

Idk, tbh I do have strange taste. I know many people didn't like the first arc but I loved it, I think it was a breath of fresh air from the usual BL tropes of being in the POV of a poor frail bottom. Green Eyes was so cute, I'm in love with lively younger tops and he just knew what he wanted straight away and got it. It was so refreshing.
Arc 2... now I'm grateful that Regent Wang isn't cliche and I love his composure and actually really enjoy the new historical setting but his dynamic is just so meh. I'm sick of seeing characters that are so SOOO DENSE! I hate dense characters and I hate the romance dynamic of 'I love you but I can't tell you because I just can't and also you dense as a brick wall'. Like, seriously? It's been used so many times.
