Writing this after the release of chapter 72
Idk, tbh I do have strange taste. I know many people didn't like the first arc but I loved it, I think it was a breath of fresh air from the usual BL tropes of being in the POV of a poor frail bottom. Green Eyes was so cute, I'm in love with lively younger tops and he just knew what he wanted straight away and got it. It was so refreshing.
Arc 2... now I'm grateful that Regent Wang isn't cliche and I love his composure and actually really enjoy the new historical setting but his dynamic is just so meh. I'm sick of seeing characters that are so SOOO DENSE! I hate dense characters and I hate the romance dynamic of 'I love you but I can't tell you because I just can't and also you dense as a brick wall'. Like, seriously? It's been used so many times.
I scroll through the millions of novels on this website and it's just the same content with different covers. Be innovative writers! The world of literature is supposed to have infinite possibilities.
Looks interesting... and I'm liking that we don't just have the typical let's treat omegas horribly like objects talk which is good. It's basically a mixture of really fun tropes so I hope it gets pulled off well.
