She used the abilities of the poison butterflies too much, and it affected her body a lot. She was walking away from Agriche because she didn't want to stay there anymore.

According to Cassis, Roxana's expression looked like a person who was "looking for a place to die". And that really shocked Cassis, so he became even more determined to take Roxana with him and take care of her in Pedelian.

Roxana, in response, told Cassis that such things were normal for her. As the master of the poison butterflies, her body would not be able to last any longer, and once she dies, her butterflies will feed on her flesh until nothing is left of her. Cassis then kneeled in front of Roxana and told her that if she is going to die anyway, then she should give the remaining time of her life to him. The manhwa didn't include many details about the characters according to the novel, probably because of the artist's poor health conditions. So I thought I should let you guys know.

About why Jeremy adores Roxie and his Mom:

Jeremy likes Roxie because she is the only person in Agriche who doesn't treat him like a monster. She treats him like a genuine family member, and it makes him happy because he always craved the love of his cowardly mother and indifferent father.

About his mom, she's dead. She committed suicide in the past by throwing herself off the balcony in front of Jeremy. Apparently, his mother was a very weak-hearted person and was forced into marriage with Lant Agriche. She was unable to cope with the terrible environment in Agriche, and had to see blood and murder all the time.

She saw Jeremy as a monster instead of treating her as her son, so she avoided Jeremy ever since he also started acting like an "Agriche" (which is acting crazy, cruel and possessing a lot of bloodthirst).

Jeremy always longed for his mother's affection, but decided to not approach her because he knows she's scared of him. But one day, Jeremy couldn't hold it any longer and decided to confront her. His mother got terrified when he started chasing after her, so she ran into her room and got cornered by him at the balcony. As Jeremy got closer, his mom slipped and fell off the balcony, but somehow managed to get hold of the railing. Jeremy hurried over to pull her back up, but the mom was unwilling to do so.

As much as I adore Roxana x Cassis, I want to talk about another potential pairing... Sylvia x Jeremy!!

Omg, as if we already don't have a attractive, badass main couple, the side couple is equally awesome!!

It all started when Roxana asked Cassis to escort her in front of all the five families including the Agriches during the Reconciliation Meeting I think(?)

Jeremy was shocked to see her do that, but he respected his sister's wishes so he followed suit and requested Sylvia to allow him to be her escort too omg omg!! Roxana was pleasantly surprised, and was also proud bcuz Jeremy was actually following the traditions of the reconciliation meeting (getting along with the other families even if they are your greatest enemies). And he was even acting like a gentleman, adressing Sylvia as "Lady Pedelian", like an actual noble. (▰˘◡˘▰)

The scene appeared so enchanting in my head bcuz we usually see him acting like a brat (a cute brat tho). Although that scene didn't last long bcuz soon after Sylvia and Jeremy started arguing about who Roxana likes more and who likes Roxana more (omg lol these two). Sylvia said she's jealous of Jeremy bcuz he is the closest person to Roxana (not counting Cassis here bcuz he is the one and only lover, not a sibling) and she wants to be her sister too. (づ￣ ³￣)づ

Also, another potential partner for Sylvia is none other than the og male lead. I kinda forgot how the two came to get along with each other, but apparently they saw each other in the library in one of the side stories. Sylvia was studying and Liuzak saw her there and the two greeted each other and had a small conversation. He, in fact, even smiled at Sylvia, unlike how we see him with his usual frown. ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

As of now it's not shown with whom Sylvia ends up with, but I think Jeremy's a strong contender. Roxana even admitted that the two look good as a couple. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Hey guys, I am the translator for chapter 35.

As a massive fan of this manhwa and seeing that nobody has uploaded the latest chapter yet, I decided to give it a try. This is the actually the first time I ever attempted on translating, and honestly, it's a job which requires time, effort and lots of meticulousness. Especially when it comes to cleaning and redrawing the sfxs over detailed buildings and backgrounds (/TДT)/ I thought my eyes were about to die on me!!

I can tell the chapters turned out a but wonky at few panels, but that's the best I could do within two days. Plus, I worked on this solo, so I didn't have anyone to check the quality for me. Σ( ￣□￣||) if another chapter 35 gets uploaded with better quality, I would voluntarily delete my version, since it looks so amateurish in comparison to actual professionals. I don't think I would do something like this again for a long time.

I feel a newfound respect for all the scanlation groups who work hard day in and night out for the sake of us readers! I hope you guys also don't shy away from joining their groups and help them release new chapters faster!
