Dohyeok haters are a different breed, going as far as to make assumptions about things he never did. Siwoo-centric readers will first, never recognize the multiple times he sexually assaulted Dohyeok, and then act like Dohyeok never tried to treat Siwoo nicely.
Dohyeok waited for him and drove him to a nice restaurant and treated him to dinner, they couldn't finish eating because Dohyeok's PTSD got triggered but that's different. When Siwoo ghosted him, he even went to his workplace and later asked him to sleepover, only to see him gone as soon as he woke up.
Blackmailing is not something I will ever support, but if his nice approaches don't work then obviously he will resort to his usual tendencies to get what he wants. You don't have to be in love with a character to understand that. Not to mention, Siwoo himself said that he doesn't care if Dohyeok does something to his bar, so he never took the threats seriously from the beginning.
Also, so many people simply can't comprehend how anyone can like him. Let me tell you this, I have read the main story and I still love him. No one owes you an explanation for this, like how I don't go around asking people why they like red-flag tops who should be in jail.

You’re right! Dohyeok is truly an asshole but let’s not act like he’s the worst. If they wanna complain about rape, why is Dohyeok the only bad one when every main character has raped in different ways? Suha in Chapter 49 to a sleeping Jiwoon, Jiwoon raped Suha when Suha repeatedly told him to stop, and Dohyeok raped Suha cause dub consent isn’t a valid from of consent, and Siwoo raped Dohyeok. End of story. Therefore I don’t focus on the rape part as much unless someone wanna bring that up to hate on Dohyeok only. You can hate on him, I do too but I don’t pick favorites and act like Siwoo is much better than the other.

i have no problem with people disliking dohyeok for his personality. in fact, i myself don't like hot-tempered rich people irl. i only find it annoying when people put all the blame on him, overlook aspects of his character, and pretend like everyone else is a saint and he is satan. like, be a proper hater, acknowledge the facts, don't make things up to justify your hatred? can't be too much to ask for

summary: we get dohyeok's pov about why he threatened siwoo. as siwoo kept ghosting him, he started thinking of ways to keep their relationship going, and he realizes that since siwoo prioritizes family and friends most, he should use that as a threat. after talking with jiwoon, siwoo called his mother and confirmed that dohyeok has been pressurizing(?) seorim. now we see that dohyeok has been blocked by siwoo so he runs to siwoo's apartment and crosses paths with him as he is leaving for work. soon they get into a fight, siwoo saying dohyeok should have left his family alone after he complied with all of dohyeok's requests, and dohyeok saying he touched seorim purely because of business. the fight continues, siwoo says "why would you want a sex partner so bad? you're acting as if you need me" to which dohyeok says "yes, i need you". chapter ends with that panel.

Idk man but DH is always the bad guy to jiwoon and if siwoo talked to him bout DH's recent behaviour too like I dunno bruv DH ain't that bad but everything bad about him gets exposed to jiwoon liiiike since they family and in the same company too they're bound to run into eachother at some point
alright everyone, from my amazing detective skills i have concluded that the screenshots about the author saying that sihyeok's sidestory will end soon is fake. it's an edit, you can tell because:
1. those tweets are nowhere there on her twitter account even though the screenshot is of her twitter account tweet
2. korean authors usually don't use emojis, they use kaomojis if they want to convey certain emotions. also the teary eye emoji and praying emoji are only used by people who are regularly online, which is highly unlikely for korean authors like chahyun
therfore, we can hope for now that things will end well for these two. although i am not sure how, but since chahyun said that all 4 leads are her babies, they probably won't get bad endings, especially since dohyeok has already suffered so much. let's wait and watch.
gosh, i needed this! cause it just doesn't make sense to make the side story seem like a slow burn within the 20+ chapters and then ending it abruptly. also, the way author mentioned this side story can seem ambiguous, cause while she said she doesn't expect us to forgive dohyeok easily, it might even be a translation error people are looking into. i'm sure even the author wants "all 4 of her babies" to get an appropriate happy ending, especially dohyeok with all his suffering and redemption. two of them have already gotten their happy ending, now it's dohyeok and siwoo's turn. even if they don't end up together (which i really does not happen), dohyeok should still get redemption and have the realisation that the way he has been living and behaving is just not right.

if it’s gonna end in 30+ chapters then the ending is probably sad or open at most the author didn’t say how many chapters there will be so I can’t say how soon is authors “soon” but it has to be 50 chapters with the pace the story is going for it to have a happy ending if not then the ending is probably sad
