Stories like this that take ages to churn out new chapters, slowly expanding over years end up evolving the technology the characters use that was not previously shown. Their phones change from everyone using a flip phone to using an âiphoneâ and the things they say also change even though the year they are living in is still the same from the last update. It's always weird to see.

Too many story writers in recent years believe it is âgoodâ writing if they keep the plot direction vague. Itâs like dealing with someone who has a short attention span. They have a plot, they drop the plot and they move on to something else. It's irritating as hell.
